One of my favorite features is the fact that it is lightweight. The load on my site is minimal compared to solutions like Contact Form 7 and Gravity forms. I've tried them all. All of the scripts loaded on all pages. WPForms is light and doesn't affect my site speed. This includes when we have the form in a modal layer on the page. It's easy to customize, dress up, and enhance with GDPR, captcha, payment fields, and more. I'm underutilizing all of the available features. I guess that's better than wishing there was so much more. I just need more time and situations to use more.
Not a fan of the spam I get, even with filters. The spam/bots are not saved to the database, which is good, but I do get an email every time. this has not been solved yet by tech support after months.
I love the data entry feature. I use the pro version and share it with many of my clients. Makes management easy - one plugin for all. Those that want their own account are happy to pay the extra because this plugin is so wonderful.
The deep level of customization, reliability and compatibility with other services
The default styling coz definitely use a massive overhaul. Always requires CSS customizing.
We use it to capture leads naturally. I find that it is very reliable and simple to customize. Never had any massive technical difficulties with it. We also use the integrations for sending out mailers, collecting payments, and follow up campaigns.
Simple and easy interface, works for any type of forms I've needed. I've used it on hundreds of sites.
I can't really think of anything I dislike about this plugin.
Makes creating forms super simple and they look great.
The premium integrations make this the best form plug-in period.
The lack of direct integration into Divi and other themes
Helping clients segment inquiries bu market segments and products
Ease of use, variety and options available, feature-rich. Not to mention Zapier and WP SMTP for multiple programs and Email validation.
Paying on a subscription rather than a one-time for life payment.
Getting data from the customer to Quickbooks (Excel spreadsheet), sending auto response Emails, easy captcha code for our older customers, integrating WP SMTP for Email validation via Mailgun.
I love how easy it is to create a form...edit the look and layout...and integrate it with a ton of other apps. We use this in combination with their SMTP plugin and in 2 years have never had an issue with our contact form and the notifications reaching their intended recipients. We are over 100 websites at this point and I can't see a scenario where we would move away from WPForms. The look is far cleaner and more modern compared to the other forms...but especially over the popular Contact Form 7. It's highly customizable and the conditional logic forms are next level.
The only thing we have ever had issues with is spam. But that's a universal issue that is not really specific to this plugin. Their honeypot solution hasn't really worked for us...but we use their ReCaptcha integration and that seems to work fine.
We get a clean, modern-looking contact form that allows us to generate leads for our customers. The conditional logic features take average contact form response rates and give them the extra juice we need to set us apart from our competition.
StringersSociety.com uses polls, surveys, and forms to collect valuable insights while providing a interactive experience for our users.
Annual Fee is on the high side and lack of uses cases in their documentation with measured results would be a bonus
WpForms helps Stringers Society connect with our audience, generate leads, and collect valuable insights in a authentic way.
Simple install Even simpler configuration Zapier integration
Nothing. Its easy to use, so simple to configure.
Automated population of third-party SaaS apps - PSA business management SaaS and mailchimp. Using the native Zapier integration has saved hundreds if not thousands of dollars in API integration - i can push any/all fields in my forms to specific fields in my bsiness management platform, create tasks and tickets and send automated emails back out through Office365. This has not only saved $$ in ease of implementation but also saved me hours per week of manual processing and follow-up.....its now all automated!
The admin interface is great and makes it very easy for clients. All of the different 3rd party integrations make it a breeze to connect with client systems. Very powerful and easy to use!
The base styles for forms and fields are a little too specific. As a developer, we prefer lightweight and easy to customize CSS and this could be better. However, they are still much better than other form plugins I've used.
Anything from simple contact forms that send a notification to more complex integrations with 3rd party systems like Mailchimp. The admin interface makes it a breeze.
I have used WP Forms to for many things. Anything from simple contact forms, order forms, donations forms etc. its super slick and easy to use.
I honestly can't think of anything I don't like. Its more a matter of a few things I wish worked different or a new feature, but nothing I dislike really.
Its easy for small e-commerce solutions, mailchimp connections, and of course all kinds of forms and data collection
The auto reply function and the ability to create custom functions is a plus for our company and the ability to edit entries
I do not for now have a thing I do not dislike about this plugin and I will surely share whenever I think of something
The ability to Instantly reply new registration on our website using the Auto reply feature, this makes it easy to attend to the immediate query of most of our clients
In the Pro version, I like that it keeps form entries.
CSS styling can be challenging. Even when attempting to hook in via custom classes and IDs that are able to be added to the forms. With that said, they have a guide on how to style forms on their website, and overwriting existing styles is an option, but you may have to use the '!important' rule. It is pricy.
Great for websites that have many forms. My go-to is Contact Form 7 for most projects that just need a simple contact form. However, when a client needs several contact forms that are more in depth that require conditional logic for surveys and pools, payment/donations, and/or file uploads, this is my pro go-to.
I like the design, the easiness to setup and its efficiency. The number of forms is great to build and I am very happy about the solution,
I wish the price a little bit down when renewal comes
I managed to have a clear booking form for our shuttle services to airports
It's a pretty seamless integration with most WP themes. I've never had any issues installing it.
Not a lot to dislike. It just works. If anyone complains about the cost, they have obviously not spent enough time buying plugins for WP sites.
Creating a better-looking form for websites. Contact Form 7 looks awful, for example. WP Forms makes it easy to have something nice and professional.
Conditional logic works great! I use it all the time to build dynamic forms. Works seamlessly.
You often have to use an SMTP plugin to send mail, depending on the server. Sometimes the workaround is creating an email forwarder using the same domain name for notifications.
You can build any kind of form from simple contact, to complex ecommerce, payment, or donation forms.
The upload file section is very helpful, but the most impressive is the conversational section
I love this plugin so n0othing to say about it
the form creation
The easiness of creating a form, plus the best User Interface and the integration is the best. Also, the various pre-made templates make the job really easy
Nothing to dislike. The plugin is super awesome and really easy to understand
Problems solved by WPForms is the restriction of Bots with the google Recaptcha integration. And, the easy of making the forms.
Super easy to set up and highly customisable
I'd love it to have an automatic UTM grabber
We mostly use it for lead generation, and it's been great.
It's a very versatile tool. You can create almost anything you can imagine regarding forms.
I have had a few compatibility issues, but nothing serious. At the end I managed to solve it.
I have an online store and I sell different kind of products and I use different ways to sell these products. WPForms helps a lot by allowing me to create specific form for each product and selling way.
The ease of use makes it quick for me to produce a form for a client, but I can also teach them how to use the plugin in less than 10 minutes and they are off and creating complex forms on their own. SMTP makes mail delivery so much more consistent and I LOVE that the site keeps a backup of messages so my customer can log in to double-check they received all site queries. Lost email is increasingly a problem for everyone, especially from forms. I see SMTP becoming more and more part of my "standard installation" for customers. I also like that upgraded features are teased in the lower-level licenses. This makes it easier to show my client what is possible for them; they tend to sell themselves on the upgrade without my having to put in much effort.
Sometimes I need to upgrade to a lot more features than required to get that one paid function I do need. Most of my customers are small mom-and-pop businesses that are very price-sensitive. Sometimes I wish the features were ala carte but the price is really fair so I'm not complaining. Setting up SMTP mail is difficult. I think the problem is the complexity of Google's side of the equation but I seem to always have trouble with this setup.
It's a win-win. Either my customer is happy because they can create forms on their own, which makes me happy, OR I can quickly do it for them, saving me time which also makes me happy! I no longer waste valuable time with form plugins that take a geek to set up and maintain. I no longer fuss with delivery issues. It's a huge time-saver in so many ways. I also tend to create more complex forms because it's so easy to do so, and this has solved problems for customers. How do you NOT love a program that makes you look good, lowers your frustration level, keeps you from PITA tasks, and puts as much (or more) money in your pocket as it takes out? I need to look to see if you have an affiliate program so I have you invoice my customer directly and save myself having to purchase the plugin and invoice.
