There is no guest user ( client ) can communicate without licence, it means visitors required licence to be part of teams. Sometimes audible alerts are annoying. UI is bit obstuse. More emotions would be appreciated. And happy they are improving day by day and release by release.

Its collaboration tools must be more user-friendly and easy to learn. Its long and frequent updates may interrupt teams and their work. You have to restart your computers occasionally. It should make more improvements in contacts and calling features. More options should be provided for adding photos on contacts.
It is having many features which help invite vendors and customers for participating in channels. It has a drag and drops option which helps in the easy sharing of documents, images, and files. It is also helpful in accessing the histories of chats.

We have been using Zoho Cliq for the last few years at our company and the results are in terms of a collaborative team effort. When there are no communication boundaries between teams, the results are surely satisfactory.
The initial setup is difficult to deploy and it is not very easy for a big organization like ours to start afresh with new platforms. We had to face trouble in the initial days but now that it is all settled we are at peace with the platform and its performance as well.

It is free and easy to set up. The interface is good and similar to other messaging apps, which reduces the learning curve. You can create bots similar to slack to automate tasks. Channels are a great way to collaborate in a large group.
Pricing is something that could be one possible deterrent in case you want to upgrade. As Zoho is not that popular you may not see everyone using this outside your workspace.
As a team, we are using Zoho Cliq to make our internal communication easy. we also use different chat apps to complete our digital chats. Zoho Cliq also helps us in automating our task by building bots
What I find most interesting about cliq is the way it organizes the files you share through chat channels, you can access the files organized by date, type, size, etc. No need to search the chats directly but in the shared files folder
I find it overloaded with too many ornaments, too many distracting "work" tools. Example: a button to notify you that you went out for 15 minutes to look for a coffee. Do you really need a button for that?
Basically I use the zoho cliq in my remote workflow to share files with collaborators, in addition to taking advantage of the audio or video call.The aspect that I take most advantage of is definitely the exchange of files in real time with my work team.
Zoho Cliq boasts most of the features you’d expect from an office IM such as groups and integrations, but at a better price than the competition. And the product support is excellent. Zoho also happily implemented a Mark as Unread feature for us. Plus, the daily quotes are Great.
Integrating Cliq with our external services like Git and New Relic was more effort as opposed to Slack. And some elements require polishing: Video and Audio calls could be better, Interface has room for improvement, but apart from that, Cliq is a decent All-Round IM
Due to the notice groups and integration with Zoho Desk and Projects, Cliq is the first application I open when I switch my laptop on in the mornings. It make's it easy to track what my collegues are working on and what the status of those projects are, I can easily see what bugs had been filed from Desk and the Timesheets help me track my progress
I really was not expecting to say this, but my Slack app crashed more often than Cliq. No delays in sending messages, not a cluttered interface. Everything is great.
I use Cliq via Android and it works fine. Some members have complained about iOS but I wouldn't know more than that. Besides that, I onl have good things to say about Cliq.

Cliq is an easy downloadable app that you can use to stay in touch with colleagues about various topics, even when you are offline (not in the office). It mimics slack in many ways as well.
I did have to download it 3x in order for my chats to go through. It was frustrating that I was sending my team information through Cliq that on my end showed up as sent and received that they never saw. That was my biggest frustration in the beginning.
We are able to easily communicate with each other and solve problems easily. There is a record of everything that has occurred and easy to find.
Cliq is a viable alternative to Slack. This is why we tried out the product. It is Slack wihtout the fluff in my opinion
Slack's features that are in addition to Cliq make Slack much better for our use. Also the user interface would glitch a lot.

UI is bad and needs better integrations with other software. While comparing with. thecompetitors this lacks connectors to other major tools.
cross-team collaboration and since all our team is in Zoho suite it's easy. I also like the fact that zoho cliq has voice as well as video support built in. We can also share our screen and present our computer to all those in the call. This makes it easy for us to have all in one app.
Easy for team messaging, if you have Zoho One it's actually nice to have becuase your Cliq can transfer between apps and you can keep conatct with team mates as you trouble shoot or go through apps and drives.
The think I dislike most about Zoho CLiq is that it's part or Zoho, whic is the worst CRM ever made and it doesnt allow you to send larger file types like other message tools.
Since we had Zoho One it was easier to use Zoho Cliq instead of google chat. slack. or teams messenger. And since it had a clock in/out feature it was helpful when working from home.
