20i’s Startup plan is £10 a month and hosts one website with 10 GB of storage. Plan 1 is £20 a month and hosts one website with 10 GB of storage. Double the price buys double the bandwidth and mailboxes plus high-frequency compute — but not another site or another gigabyte. That makes Plan 1 the worst value per website on a page where every plan is advertised at £1.
- What it is: UK-based web hosting with autoscaling, a global CDN, and no contract.
- Best for: Agencies and multi-site owners, where the higher plans get genuinely cheap per site.
- Pricing: £1 first month on every plan, then £10 to £300 a month. Verified July 2026.
- The honest catch: The £1 headline appears on all six plans and tells you nothing about what you will pay.
What Is 20i?
20i is a UK hosting company with a strong reputation for support — G2 Summer 2026 badges for High Performer, Users Most Likely To Recommend, Easiest Admin, and Best Support, plus PC Pro Technology Excellence Awards naming it Best Web Host in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Every plan shares the same platform features: dynamic autoscaling, a high-availability platform, a global CDN, free SSL certificates, WAF and malware scanning, automatic daily backups, on-demand migrations, 24×7 UK support, data centres in the UK, USA, and Asia, and the “Twentie” AI assistant. What separates the tiers is capacity.
Crucially, all plans are contract-free — “no contract, cancel any time” appears on every card, which is unusual in hosting.
How 20i Works
- £1 for the first month on every plan, then the recurring rate.
- Websites are the primary meter — 1, 1, 3, 10, 25, then 50.
- Storage, bandwidth, mailboxes, and MySQL ladder alongside.
- No contract on any plan, cancel at any time.
- The same feature set on every tier — CDN, WAF, backups, autoscaling.
- High-frequency compute and edge pre-cache arrive at Plan 1.
20i Pricing
Captured from 20i’s web hosting page in July 2026 in pounds sterling.
| Plan | First month | Then | Websites | Storage | Bandwidth | Mailboxes | MySQL |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Startup | £1 | £10/mo | 1 | 10 GB | 50 GB | 10 | 1 GB |
| Plan 1 | £1 | £20/mo | 1 | 10 GB | 100 GB | 20 | 5 GB |
| Plan 2 | £1 | £40/mo | 3 | 20 GB | 200 GB | 50 | 15 GB |
| Plan 3 | £1 | £80/mo | 10 | 40 GB | 300 GB | 100 | 50 GB |
| Plan 4 | £1 | £150/mo | 25 | 50 GB | 500 GB | 250 | 125 GB |
| Plan 5 | £1 | £300/mo | 50 | 100 GB | 1 TB | 500 | 250 GB |
What actually decides your plan:
- The £1 is on every plan, so ignore it. All six tiers advertise £1 for the first month. It is a uniform introductory offer, not a differentiator, and the number that matters is the “then only” line beneath it — £10 to £300 a month.
- Plan 1 is the anomaly. At £20 it allows one website and 10 GB of storage, exactly like the £10 Startup. What doubles is bandwidth (50 to 100 GB), mailboxes (10 to 20), and MySQL storage (1 to 5 GB), plus high-frequency compute and edge pre-cache. If your single site is busy or database-heavy, that is a real upgrade. If you simply want more sites or space, it gives you neither.
- Per website, the ladder inverts then improves sharply. Startup is £10 per site, Plan 1 is £20, Plan 2 £13.33, Plan 3 £8, and Plan 5 £6. The cheapest plan beats the second-cheapest on this measure by a factor of two.
- Storage is the tightest constraint. 10 GB on both of the first two plans, and only 100 GB even at £300 a month. For a media-heavy site that is the number to check first, not bandwidth.
- No contract on any plan is genuinely valuable. Much of this market — WP Engine included — pushes annual commitments, so being able to leave monthly is a real form of pricing honesty.
- Mailboxes are generous. Ten 10 GB mailboxes on the £10 plan, rising to 500 at the top. For a small business wanting hosting and email together, that is a meaningful inclusion.
Who Should Use 20i
- Agencies and multi-site owners. The clearest case — £6 to £8 per site at the upper tiers is very competitive.
- UK businesses wanting UK support. 24×7 support from UK staff, with the awards to back the reputation.
- Anyone who dislikes contracts. Monthly, cancel any time, on every plan.
- Businesses needing hosting plus email. The mailbox allowances are unusually generous.
It fits poorly for single-site owners considering Plan 1, where Startup gives the same site and storage for half the price; for media-heavy sites, where 10 GB is quickly consumed; and for managed WordPress specifically, where specialists like WP Engine and Kinsta offer more targeted tooling.
Honest Pros and Cons
Strengths
- No contract on any plan — cancel monthly.
- The full feature set on every tier — CDN, WAF, backups, autoscaling, migrations.
- Excellent per-site economics at the higher plans, down to £6.
- Strong support reputation, with G2 and PC Pro recognition.
- Generous mailbox allowances, from ten on the entry plan.
- Recurring prices are published right beneath the promotional one.
Limitations
- A £1 headline on all six plans that carries no information.
- Plan 1 costs double Startup for the same site count and storage.
- 10 GB storage on both of the two cheapest plans.
- Only 100 GB storage even on the £300 plan.
- One website until Plan 2 at £40 a month.
- Six similarly-named plans make the ladder harder to read than it should be.
20i Alternatives and How It Compares
- Hostinger competes hard at the budget end with long promotional terms.
- SiteGround has a similar support-led reputation at somewhat higher prices.
- WP Engine and Kinsta are managed-WordPress specialists, considerably more expensive.
- Cloudways gives managed hosting on cloud infrastructure you select.
- Bluehost is the mass-market option with heavy first-term discounting.
- 10Web bundles managed WordPress hosting with an AI site builder.

The Verdict
20i is a genuinely good host with an awkward pricing page. The platform is the same on every plan — autoscaling, high availability, global CDN, free SSL, WAF and malware scanning, daily backups, and on-demand migrations — so you are choosing capacity rather than capability. The support reputation is well earned, with PC Pro naming it Best Web Host three years running, and no contract on any plan is a real virtue in a market that generally wants three years of your money up front.
The presentation is the problem. Every one of the six plans advertises “First Month £1”, which means the largest number on each card is identical and meaningless. The figure that matters is the smaller “then only” line: £10, £20, £40, £80, £150, £300. To 20i’s credit those recurring rates are published directly beneath — this is not a hidden renewal price, just a poorly weighted one.
Read the specifications rather than the ladder, because the second rung is strange. Plan 1 at £20 gives one website and 10 GB of storage — identical to Startup at £10. What you get for the extra ten pounds is double the bandwidth, double the mailboxes, five times the MySQL storage, and high-frequency compute with edge pre-cache. For one busy, database-heavy site that is a coherent upgrade. For anyone who assumed a more expensive hosting plan means more websites or more space, it is neither, and Startup at half the price is the better buy. From Plan 2 upward the economics turn sharply in your favour — £13.33 per site, then £8, then £6 — which is where 20i becomes genuinely compelling for agencies.
FAQ
How much does 20i cost?
Captured in July 2026 in pounds sterling: every plan costs £1 for the first month, after which Startup is £10 per month, Plan 1 £20, Plan 2 £40, Plan 3 £80, Plan 4 £150, and Plan 5 £300. All plans are contract-free and can be cancelled at any time, and all include the same platform features regardless of tier.
What is the difference between 20i’s Startup and Plan 1?
Both allow one website with 10 GB of storage. Plan 1 doubles bandwidth from 50 GB to 100 GB, doubles mailboxes from 10 to 20, raises MySQL storage from 1 GB to 5 GB, and adds high-frequency compute and edge pre-cache — for double the price. If your single site is busy or database-heavy that is worthwhile; if you want more sites or more storage, Plan 1 offers neither.
Does 20i require a contract?
No. Every plan states “no contract – cancel any time”, which is unusual in web hosting where multi-year commitments are the norm. That makes the £1 first month genuinely low-risk to try, since you can leave after it without owing anything further.
How many websites can I host on 20i?
One on Startup and Plan 1, three on Plan 2, ten on Plan 3, twenty-five on Plan 4, and fifty on Plan 5. Cost per website falls sharply up the range — from £20 on Plan 1 down to £6 on Plan 5 — so multi-site owners and agencies get considerably better value than single-site users.
Is 20i good for WordPress?
It hosts WordPress perfectly well, with autoscaling, daily backups, free SSL, a WAF, and on-demand migrations included on every plan. What it does not offer is the WordPress-specific tooling of dedicated managed hosts like WP Engine or Kinsta — staging environments tuned for WordPress, WordPress-aware support, and platform-level caching built around it. For most sites 20i is more than adequate and considerably cheaper.

Detailed instructions available for every step and someone always ready to answer questions that come up. They have AI if you want it but always a human there to help. I moved here from some awful support so it's been great.
So far I haven't run into anything that's a problem for me.
I create and host websites for my publishing services and book sales. They make it easy to perform all my tasks and are there if I run into something that I don't clearly understand. An immense difference from where I was before. It was pure luck that I found them but am so glad I did.
The my20i team are alway so efficient when replying to support quires and will to go above and beyong to resolve problems. They best support team around.
I dislike nothing about my20i, it is a fantastic service!
They help us provide secure hosing for our clients. We also love that there is a sustainability focus with the company.
Not only is the hosting incredibly reliable, but the support is second to none. One of my biggest reasons for using them is they offer green hosting which ticks my business ethos.
Not found any downsides to using 20i. They are a brilliant company to work with.
My business is very sustainability focussed, and with 20i's green hosting, it ticks that box not just for me, but for my clients. Their control panel is so user friendly, I can see all my clients websites and domains and manage them easily. I can also give my clients (or their IT teams) access to their own control panel.
I have been with 2Oi for years, and would recommend them to anyone! Thier customer support is second to none, and their platform is easy to use.
I can't think of any things I dislike to be honest!
When I have issues with a website or need support on use of their platform they are always there to help.
Response times to tickets is very quick and the responses always constructive and helpful. A recent ticket resulted in a system enhancement which was delivered within a week and really exceeded my expectations.
Chat support can be a bit tedious but then, that's the same everywhere. Ticker response is so fast that I never both with chat now.
Enables me to manage over 300 hosting packages for various clients, mainly on WordPress but including VPS, email and custom apps.
Stable servers, fast and friendly technical support
So far everything is going well, we sincerely appreciate it
The problems that the 20i solves are many, but the most important are standard mailbox size, security, reliability, and fast technical support.
Both over the last year, since I signed up to 20i, and in the most recent case the level of support and their responsiveness have impressed me. In the most recent incident Callum responded almost instantly and when we couldn't find an immediate resolution to my enquiry the ticket was escalated and the issue resolved. Any delays in the progress of the ticket were more down to my response times rather than on the part of Callum or 20i. This, I have learnt over the few support tickets I’ve raised, is the norm. I’m very satisfied with my decision to pull my physical servers from my previous data centre and open a reseller account with 20i using their own cloud hosting. The service thus far has been exemplary and the management of their services using the 20i control panel has made management of the 30+ sites that I currently manage a breeze. Being able to set-up customised individual control panels for individual clients where needed has also streamlined my operations and impressed the clients that want that level of control.
None really. Recent change from unlimited number of sites for one price to a tiered tariff is something of a negative. Though in reality not a great hardship as the costs are still manageable given the allowances within each tier.
Relieving the need for dedicated server with associated management, software licencing and co-location costs.
They are in my opinion the most advanced hosting & reselling platform out there today. Always adding & improving daily. There support is the best I have came across & fast, The platform is easy to use & intuitive.
Nothing to dislike, all is good with 20i
It resolves eveything to do with hosting & emails for our clients.
20i is easy to set up, use, and administer. If we ever have any issues, mostly issues created by us, the support team are always very responsive and helpful. The team behind 20i has obviously put a lot of dev in so that ordering web hosting or a VPS is super easy.
Nothing to dislike about it. I really can't fault the product or support.
Ease of spinning up new websites, definitely solving migrating wordpress sites with their staging area. We used to striggle before running our own web servers, different versions of PHP etc. We don't have any issues anymore. The timeline backups make restoring an entire site or just the database really easy.
Very responsive to answer any questions or concerns, affordable hosting, superb all round.
There are no downsides to using 20i hosting.
We recently migrated over from another hosting provider as we were seeing slow loading speeds. At first there was some teething issues to address since migrating, and i cannot fault 20i customer support. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was sorted.
20i reliability, ease of use, straightforward user interface. and excellent support team for that weird question I sometimes have, before I make a change I like to make sure. They answer quickly, professionally, and more importantly. accurately. Whats not to admire?
Setting up hostshop is quir=te easy for resellers, but it still has a little way to go as regards editing. as I spend quite a bit of time trying to figure it out when it should be clear.
Site URL changes re .htaccess accuracy.
Faith in hosting companies restored! Thank you 20i. The system and interface etc works well, and whenever we have a problem, we can live chat or post a ticket and we get timely and helpful replies quickly and easily.
Can't think of anything negative to be honest.
An easy place for all our domain names to live, and set up emails if required. We've typically hosted sites elsewhere as an agency, but we're using some of 20i's hosting now too and that's super easy to use.
Fast and 'actually helpful' support team. Support is always there, even for the simplest of things, they speak to you like you are human, not just another customer. Plenty of features and services to allow me to offer the best hosting out to my customers.
Generally, nothing, but the UI for the Reseller Hosting is still clunky to use, even after much improvement. More needs to be done here to make it faster to navigate through.
A simple and effective solution to reseller hosting, backed by amazing customer support.
I like the migration service it's very easy and if there is a problem like there was with my previous host over a DNS issue with the second site I needed to migrate they helped me through the staging process which I'd never done before and they took the lead through the whole process. they are not just generic support staff who answer the phones or divert your ticket to the right department, they are all technically qualified people and give you the assistance right from the get go. I particualy love thier WordPress optimised platform which is great as I develop websites for my clients using this, so no more messing around optimising servers myself with increased memory etc. The built in web application firewall and malware scanner is a big plus also the free SSL, 20i are saving me money every year here, so no more pricey bloaty plugins to install. Their CDN is a massive plus so no more cachhing plugins required either. I can't recommend 20i enough they are packed full of useful features , easy integratins and implementation and Ben G who supported me through the process was absolutely brilliant.
Have't found anything I dislike. I'm not sure there is anything to dislike.
They are solving my previouse platform issues with heart internet and also solving my previous customer support issues, my previous host left me hanging for nearly 4 days before I got an answer, with 20i it was less than ten minutes.
Great dashboard, products, services and customer support
Nothing to dislike. Have used them for many years and never had an issue.
Simplicity of adding domains, hosting and clients.
I've used 20i for a number of years and I can honestly say, hands-down they're the most responsive and feature-rich hosting provider I've ever used - and I've used lots. Their support team is first-class, responsive and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for really feature-rich, value-for-money hosting. Absolutely no issues whatsoever.
Nothing. I honestly can't fault their service, features and support.
Feature-rich, high-performance web and email hosting.
They are 100% trustworthy, reliable, and very innovative. There panel is very easy to use and the customer support is unbeatable - they go above and beyond to help or rectify issues.
Very little. I do find the pricing to be quite steep but that's made up for in terms of customer service and brilliance.
Customer support is top tier. They are always innovating to be in a class of their own with features such as CDN, WordPress Manager, and acelleration suite.
The fact that 20i reseller hosting is really unlimited is very attractive, performance and support are other fundamental aspects that increase the company's reliability.
So far everything has been going perfectly well. Occasional issues we had were quickly resolved by the excellent support team. In these practically four years using 20i solutions without any serious incident.
During this period as a 20i customer, the implementation of the Anycast network and improvements in its own CDN have benefited the company's different users here in our country.
Their service is there when you need them even for the most trivial of queries.
Some of their ad ons are based on how many you host in an all or nothing system which can get expensive
They allow me to provide a better hosting service than I ever would be able to on my own.
I have been with 20i for well over 5 years now, and as a freelance website developer, I have never encountered a better hosting company. I have worked with many hosting companies, and none were on a par of 20i. I highly recommend them.
Nothing. It would be good to have phone support if possible, but the ticket system is more than adequate.
I have many clients all over the world and I love the fact that I can give each of my clients their own hosting control panel
Price is excellent. I'm on a reseller plan and the costs are perfect. Also, customer service has yet to let me down. I'm probably the typical person in only using 20% of the features, but I get 80% of the benefit. Very happy!
I sometimes seem to hit a problem setting up email accounts, even though i've been doing it for years. Especially with apple products, but generally, things work well enough.
The tech support gives me that extra level of help for my clients, so I never feel I'm alone in dealing with issues.
I've always found 20i support to be very friendly and willing to help even for things which aren't really their issue.
There's very little to dislike... Finding where things are on the control panel can be a little challenging but the whole reseller is excellent.
20i gives me the solution I need to fulfil my day-to-day job and help me earn a living.
Choosing the best thing about 20i is hard, but if pushed: I'd say the Support. Regardless of your technical knowledge, nothing is too much trouble for their team.
I'm nitpicking, but It is possible to be charged twice for the same domain, once manually and once automatically. The support team was good enough to credit me (as a goodwill gesture) after the error.
I have had issues with third-party IT companies in the past. 20i has allowed me to take care of my own Web Hosting / Emails etc, even though my background is in design, not IT.
Ease of use / centralised domain and package management. Great support as well.
None :). If bein greally picky, the admin area can sometimes seem a little slow but not a massive issue.
Centralised management for domains and hosting packages. Easy DNS management with the auto-entries for Microsoft 365 etc. Great file manager for hosting packages.
The support, without question, nothing is too much trouble and responses are usually quick.
Nothing, no problems, a very reliable and trustworthy platform
They provide a simple and intuitive interface, which is generally easy to navigate - A lot of functions are streets ahead of the next best company
Their systems and service levels are the best I have encountered in over 20 years of being in this business.
Windows hosting is limited more limited, with caps on the size of available SQL Server databases.
We used to run our own servers, which took time and effort. Now we have a knowledgeable technical team just a few keystrokes away that quickly get their heads around any issues that arise and solve them - usually in double-quick time.
The support offered by 20i is absolutely second to none. Through live chat and support tickets, agents are always super fast, efficinet and helpful.
My only tiny gripe would be the clone a package doesn't always work.
No reliance on cPanel is a plus - no need to pay excessive prices for software that 20i have been able to basically replace with their own, in some ways, better solution.
The hosting is very stable and fast. The customer service is great!
I can't say nothing wrong about their services.
They offer great hosting for any business and the custoer support is there 24 hours to help you.
I have been with 20i since 2019. The initial migrate from my previous host was trouble free. The support team are excellent and extremely prompt and helpful.
There is nothing I dislike about 20i ... Their service and support is excellent.
If I ever have a hosting or domain issue, they are always quick to support and help solve.
Their customer service is a top notch, the guys there are always willing to help with any task
Nothing. I love 20i and will always recommend them
They provide hosting services for me and my clients
