Can do most things that allow you to create an image that is publishable.

Not easy to figure out where everything is since I am a long time user of Adobe Photoshop full version and everything is in different locations within the two programs. More trouble than it's worth in my opinion. Prefer the full version of Adobe Photoshop since you can do more with it as well.

I started using this but quickly switched to the full version of photoshop. It was great for a beginner but most photo software has the same capabilities for less money.

Anything that can be done in Photoshop, can be done (to a less polished degree) in Elements - unless you're looking to create something from scratch.

I was given this product under the guise of it being the full photoshop program. This is FALSE. The good came with the bad. If you are looking to crop, filter, or colour correct photos, look no further.

There is no layers menu, and you cannot work with more than two at a time. The program is also set up VERY different from all adobe photoshop programs before or after it. It was a very time consuming process to learn, and I’m still not certain how to use this program to full capacity. I do not reccomend it to anyone. It’s worth the extra cash to get the full program.

This program can still be used to remove excess canvas from the background of my artwork via the “erase” tool, however, the transparent sections are still white, which is very hard to dicern from a white photo. It gets the job done, but is far more time consuming when compared to other products on the market.

The price is much lower than Photoshop.

I have been trained on the Photoshop software, but not Photoshop elements. I thought this would be a cheaper option that is somewhat as good as Photoshop, but I found that there wasn’t much I could do with elements, and I ended up going back to Photoshop.

I have not been able to solve any problems using this software. I have gone back to using Photoshop.

I liked that there were multiple options of use

I did not like all the freezing and kinks

It seems like a good tool to be able to share color gifs and outlines with other however I wish that the kinks were worked out, seems like a lot of freezing up

It looks like a powerful program. I have used previous versions, but this would not install on my computer, despite contacting technical support. In the past, this is a remarkable program for photo editing. It is perfect for beginners through advanced users. The learning curve here is steep, but the end product is well worth the effort.

Nothing. Despite having a brand new MacBook Pro Retina Display, the program would not install. This was my third attempt.

None. The program never installed and Tech Support was not helpful.

I like that I can use it to teach my younger kids the basics.

Everything else. It makes it slightly hard to transition to the Photoshop and having to reteach how to use the interface because it is so different.

It works as a teaching tool.

A better price point than the full Photoshop program

Some features are clunky to use or not quite the same or as affective as the full program

This program was intended to provide easier on the go editing to use on my small business web site. It was so hard to use that I went back to using free applications.
