Adobe XD is an advanced n UI and UX design platform that can be used to create everything from apps to websites. The tool is popular among developers for creating and collaborating on wireframes, prototypes, and mockups. A platform is a vector-based software that is meant to turn flat images into 3D renderings and create augmented virtual reality experiences. It also offers access to features such as repeat grids, plugins, and extensions.

I like the collarboration features of Adobe XD the most.
Nothing! It serves all my purposes very well.
Whenever I want to test out a new feature or idea, we want to create prototypes or wireframes to test with the customer, and that's what we use XD for.
Small number of commands. Great team collaboration tools
Very buggy, I've lost artwork. Inability to change the ownership of artwork. Noisy add-on ecosystem
In the past we needed to use Illustrator to create flows for prototypes. It was difficult and cumbersome. Adobe XD makes it easy to make and share prototype with their simple to use prototype mode.
It is very straightforward and user-friendly. It is a breeze to learn if you have some basic design knowledge. It is a great tool for creating websites and app mockups
Sometimes is not intuitive like figma. It could be a little slow. Trying to get to assets could be a challenge and selecting some elements is a picking sometimes.
Trying to come up with a user flow design and some nice mocks of future apps. It is straightforward to pick up and start working on creating some quick mock-ups.
I like the simplicity of use, there's a sort of guide during the creation.
I don't like the long duration building connections, something should have a wider view and the possibility to repeat automatically, because it's only about linking and repeating, building a confusing network of links.
The main benefit is the ability to try something that literally works, to try mechanics through a website or an app.
Creating mockups and wireframes is extremely easy on this platform
There are some features that are currently lacking, for me, it's essential to be able to collaborate with the client which is something I couldn't do in this platform
To create successful mockups and wireframes but also needed to be able to collaborate with clients (which has not been possible in this platform)
I love it because it saves me a lot of time adapting to different screens. I can adapt them to screens of different sizes and maintain the position and scalability.
there are some tools that would have to be improved, some of those tools sometimes fail.
It has saved me a lot of time, because you can work at the same time with my team
Quick abililty to rapidly prototype and test products.
Little control over animations, low control over SVG tools
Ability to share prototypes and test with remote teams with a low learning curve
It has build in templates for every device that it is used nowadays. Excellent for jump-starting any kind of project.
The pen tool is not that easy to start using. It takes a time to get used to.
Designed my photography website from scratch from different platforms. The program is easy to use and intuitive.
It is such a powerful application for UX/UI designers building front-end prototypes for user interfaces without the need to code anything. I really like the fact that it is integrated really well with other Adobe applications such as Adobe Photoshop, which makes the work flow really smooth.
Even though it is packed with many powerful tools making the job of a UX/UI designer easier but you can feel that it is a work in progress and there's still room for improvement.
I've used Adobe XD to create front-end prototypes for an application's interactive user interface.
I really like using Adobe xd because I think it’s very intuitive and easy to learn. This tool was my first interactive prototyping tool I learnt and I’ve not seen back since then
I think it should add more features to allow collaborative work/projects to take place
Developing an interactive prototypes/ mid and high fidelity mock-up. This enables the viewer to get the look and feel of real application
Adobe XD has quickly developed into a program that matches its rivals, like Sketch. It's coming up to par with industry standards, and defining necessities for UX designers.
XD is still lacking necessary features, granted they would be the first to really achieve them when released, the fact that there is no live collaboration is difficult, but adobe would be the first to have a local software where I and my teammates can design together in one document, local on all of our machines, in the cloud.
We do all wireframes in my workplace with XD and it has saved our butts multiple times; it's easy enough to pickup in an hour, and super simple for assembling elements.
empowers designers with the speed, precision, and quality to seamlessly iterate and share interactive prototypes with team members and reviewers across devices and platforms, including Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
There are still various technical glitches that need to be given priority over user interface like file format when one is switching from Windows to Mac. Also, the plans buy the software needs to be customer-centric. I'll advise them to customize the plans as per client/ customer requirements
1. Export to adobe after effects 2. Prototype drag gestures 3. Linked symbols 4. Redesigned home screen
XD is very simple to use and the user interface uses elements from other Adobe software/programs. Unified experience. Also, the ability to prototype directly in XD is huge! My team can use this product on both PC and Mac without any headache.
MANY key/basic elements are missing and software's like Sketch and Invision Studio are updating features at a much quicker rate. XD seems a bit behind to the game. Some basic features don't seem to be in the pipeline anytime soon. XD crashes very often; quite buggy at times.
UI/UX for a mobile apps on iOS and Android.
XD provides an easy to use platform for design mockups for ads, webpages, emails, etc.
I wish you could copy and paste images or elements from other applications.
Mockups from coordinator to designer.
A great software to introduce the experiences of the mobile and web applications. A classic quality of the Adobe house company, producing and the functions of the system bar is as always in a great range.
The newest Xd version has some changing regarding the older version - menu bar is first a change and needs some time to find them out. The responsive resize function has some problems on the second screen.
Helps in the intuitive sampling of the design and proto experience. The resize of the system from the screen switching is nice.
I like that it's a simple and easy to understand piece of software. I like that it can connect with Adobe Creative Cloud.
I don't like how dramatically different it feels from all other Adobe software. The UI is different, and the general framework for where to locate tools is different. Jarring almost.
Prototyping and mocking up website pages.
It is free and easy to use for creating quick mockups. Also it is fairly easy to connect the slides using the prototyping tool present
Customization features are somewhat limited, like pen tool and other free hand design tools etc
Created mockups for our new product in XD
XD is easy to use, and will get the job done. I don't have any major issues with the product, and it has certainly become significantly more usable since the original release.
It just doesnt have the industry adoption that Figma has. That is very important when it comes to being employable. It also matters when looking for learning resources, since competing software has so much more to learn from.
I teach and practice web design. XD is good for that. It is great that it is included in the complete Adobe subscription. So for a while I was using it in classrooms. But Figma is free for students, which makes it at least as viable an option.
This was used for an intern project that included designing i was able to be very creative in that I was able to alter wireframes
i disliked the fact that sometimes the app would not work on my desktop for example it would freeze and then I would have to restart the app
i was redesigning wireframes
I like the concept and the idea of being able to walk a person through your build before coding anything. I like the idea of reusing my library and assets developed in other Adobe products easily.
It's not really useable on the Windows platform but has gotten better. Overall it's not very intuitive. I am not sure why the interface is not in line with all the other Adobe creative suite products. Going from Photoshop and Illustrator to this is odd. Had the user interface was in the same style as the other products it would feel much more familiar. I use Dreamweaver and integration with that product would be a dream. Bringing in assets from other Adobe products isn't seamless without using the Creative Cloud.
I am looking for a tool that lets me easily demonstrate and step through web applications or mobile website interfaces/designs. A customer is able to see exactly how their application will look and more importantly function. Currently, I have been using mockup designs straight out of Photoshop but I am not able to really give the client the overall experience of what I am trying to achieve. Adobe XD promises to help me achieve that. While I can see the goal is there its not as easy or quick to use as would be beneficial.
