Compare Agile CRM with other popular tools in the same category.
Agile CRM has a very fair price level and a tons of functionality.
I have lost data, their support is poor (often wrong answers and no response), their GDPR implementation seems to be non-existing. Slow in updating integrations to LinkedIn.
Sales proces support (pipeline management). Agile CRM has been great for building our consumer, but lack proper process support and understanding the "job-to-be-done".
They have a lot of features and comparatively cheaper than hubspot.
Design and user experience in not great. Can be improved a lot
Storing customer details, sending email drip campaigns are the primary thing I use Agile.
I liked the control of entire CRM in one application that too at the cost which we could afford. We could map our customer journey entirely in AgileCRM.
There should be more predefined templates which could be ready to use and easy to do A/B testing.
We could capture our customer journey entirely in AgileCRM. That gives all of our departments, be it sales, marketing and support a clear idea about the customer.
A good competent CRM with very some exciting marketing automation features. Easy pipeline management, quick and easy to send a simple email to a whole list or segment (by tags) Massive range of Email marketing features. Fairly cheap to start with.
I wanted more than one deal pipeline but to get that one feature I needed to upgrade all my users from $15/m per user to $50 for all users! That's a massive leap for one little feature. I ended up compromising and sticking to the $15/user plan. Scheduled call backs and call notes are set up weirdly and again i've had to compromise the way we work to workaround the CRM. Its good that the system is constantly evolving and changing (daily!) but that means that any documentation or video guides soon go out of date. I've given up trying to read the weekly feature upgrades as i have to wade through 50 useless things to find one that may affect me. My life (and working day) is too short for that. Some features just seem too hard to get at somehow unless you're a techy. Maybe it's just me being dumb. perhaps I'm not their ideal target customer, but as soon as their instructions include "go to GitHub and..." I just don't feel the love!. I've been using it as a CRM for over a year but somehow not managed to leverage their more advanced email and web marketing features. A small business owner can only spend so much of my day figuring out my CRM.
To manage my existing client base, I needed a CRM for one or two sales people, with a graphical deal pipeline for both the sales process and the service delivery process. This would then be a firm base from which to launch email and other marketing campaigns. I haven't really managed to go beyond the core CRM functionality onto marketing automation. Lack of simple documentation and intuitive user experience.
The look and feel of GUI and the number of different features.
The GMail gadget stopped working, the import of the deals/opportunities didn't work correctly and after days and days of support and endless "Thank you for your continued patience" the problem wasn't resolved. What's even worse, their support staff has a habit of either not calling when agree or not providing answers when they promised they will. The product is otherwise competitively priced and has a nice interface, but some serious quality and support issues.
Organisation of contacts and sales.
Clean User Interface. It is relatively easy to get up to speed with Agile and that was our main attraction. Entry level pricing is also reasonable, though its sales model design is klunky and does not meet our business model needs well.
The primary reason we chose Agile as that the email workflow automation seemed easy to implement. However, the workflows proved to be completely unreliable. Some leads would receive all emails in the workflow, while others would not. The bugs are completely random. Support was slow to respond and when they did, I was advised that it was a software problem that was unique to my subscription (huh?). I was then assured that the bug was fixed, which it was not. In another instance, and email that was sent to an entire list of MQLs was delivered to only half and totally at random. There are many, many problems with this software. It is unreliable and unstable.
My company operates under a SaaS model. We sell financial planning software subscriptions to financial advisors and investment firms.
I like the ability to use the service for minimal cost to start.
Service used to be excellent. Over the last few months, they've opted to service everyone from India, and the problems are rarely resolved and extremely difficult to communicate. I've submitted 4-5 job tickets and had multiple support sessions via chat but still nothing. And this is after they've contacted me via email to notify me that the problem was resolved! I've spent hours trying to resolve software issues on their end. I would NOT recommend them to anyone...

The concept is great - blending CRM with Marketing Automation.
The system is riddled with bugs and poor design choices. I just counted how many support requests I have raised in the past 6 months - it's just shy of 100! Critical things like contacts being deleted, emails not being sent, losing deals in the CRM etc. I prepaid for 2 years and it's one of the biggest mistakes I've made. Their support team, whilst friendly are simply robots, and the bugs get worse with every release. Whatever you do, do not sign up with Agile CRM. Anyone who has ever had to change CRM knows how frustrating it is and I promise you will end up changing if you go with Agile.
Trying to blend CRM with Marketing Automation.
Very easy to like Agile, user friendly and works well.
As your needs grow you naturally subscribe to more features, when your needs change Agile does NOT allow you to downgrade.
Normal Sales & marketing CRM
I think the price as it was very cheap but even if it was cheap I just wasted money as they didn't refund as after complaining and them not fixing our issues well.
Our company used AgileCRM before and also recommended this to our client. However, upon using it, it doesn't really live up to what it promised to do. Specifically with Email Marketing, all the emails we are sending to our clients are going to Junk/Spam Folder, we've done several tests and change the content of our letters but still it all went to Spam. The representatives promised us on the call that the emails will go straight to the Inbox but it didn't. Also for our clients side, the emails from Office365 doesn't sync properly well, it took 3 months and still they weren't able to solve this issue. We had to cancel our subscriptions.
Marketing/Email newsletters. No benefits
Very little, you can send mass marketing emails but so can other CRMS and they're not so buggy.
Lots of bugs, complicated to set up a unsubscribe link, no pipeline feature so you have to rely on tags. There are others but I have wasted enough time with Agile and don't want to continue wasting my time.
Sending marketing emails.
The possibilities - website tracking, email automation, crm, pop-up forms, and more -- seemed like the perfect combo!!
In trialing this software, we needed to make sure that the website page tracking is possible using our own forms on Squarespace. Also, we tested out their pop-up form to make sure it was capturing contacts into the CRM. Both were not working so we reached out to tech support. Tech support isn't tech support. It was a disaster - from sending unrelated articles to send my link to code that I had used already - to delays in responding via email to ultimately giving me a code that added a form in my header above the navigation - WHAT?! How would that help me track all form submissions. This experience was a disaster. Can you imagine real issues down the line? DONT USE THIS SOFTWARE!!
NONE WITH THIS!
The CRM part is OK if you want a very basic tool to store your leads, and do not require a lot of customization. You can easily add custom fields, but the interface is basic so I wouldn't recommend it from a visual perspective.
For the CRM portion, the information is stored in tabs. So if you want to look at a contact record, you can tab to see their info, then tab to see their web activity, then tab to see their campaigns - it does not live on one page. The email automation and emailing are a nightmare. You can't put an unsubscribe link in an email template - you have to add the field to each email you send, both one off and in a campaign. In text versions of the email, you can not add links. You also cannot set account wide lead scoring for things like demographic data - you have to add that to every campaign, and a demographic node counts as one, and then the score node counts as one - campaigns are limited by the amount of nodes, so you can pretty much set up one or two emails in a single campaign before you have to transfer them to a new campaign. Also, once the campaign is running, you cannot make any changes to the email. If you have a link to a page that changes, you cannot update that link in a running campaign, and you can't see how many contacts are at varying stages of the campaign. Agile CRM consistently lost a lot of data - campaigns would save, and I would log out, only to return an hour later and have pieces have saved. Support could only respond that I should be capturing screen recordings (which I did) and then could only say that it must be frustrating that it kept losing my work.
Organizing business contacts and leads. I didn't realize any benefits.
The amount of apps that connect to the cloudware seem to be great. But buggy. It looks good and gives good visual of data. Email integration was good. Captures a lot.
Customer support is horrible. They sales guys are pushy and offered if I didn't like it that we could get a full refund before 30 days. NOT SO. The cloudware is super buggy. The apps don't always work The dashboard is buggy. Sometimes displaying old data or not relevant. Too easy to delete something and miss it completely. Syncing with apps is buggy. Constantly having to delete contacts multiple times and the data is not synced correctly without a way to map the data cells being ported.
We are looking for a way to identify sales from multiple sources, delegate to the proper sales function or channel and convert more opportunities into sales. I haven't realized any benefit due to the constant manipulation of the data that is poorly synced with other apps. You spend way too much time filtering and fixing than working.
