Considered one of the pioneering cloud-based project management tools, Asana offers four views for its users – List View, Timeline, Calendar, and Boards – all of which help teams get both a macro and micro view of all the moving parts of projects and tasks. It provides a comprehensive roadmap of ongoing projects from start to finish, clearly outlining dependencies, project milestones, and feedback and approval processes. For project managers, strong reporting capabilities that show completion rates, individual workloads, and potential delays just to name a few create opportunities for real-time project optimization, collaboration, stronger forecasting, and better planning for future similar projects.

What I like the most is that it is a very complete software, I like it because it is very easy to use and everything is intuitive, it is ideal for managing tasks of all kinds, I also liked that communication improves a lot, it has text messaging, which is very effective, visually it is very attractive, it has a very nice and aesthetic interface, I can assign tasks and projects, add specific details and description, also add subtasks and deadlines, reminders and notifications, it is highly efficient.
I have absolutely nothing negative to mention about this great software.
It is very pleasant to create and organize tasks and projects, assign them, and it is also ideal for full and constant monitoring and follow-up of tasks, it has very good and useful integrations with other software, communication is very stable and it is a plus, the application mobile is very good, and it is very easy to adapt to the software because it is very easy to configure and very intuitive.
Asana has too many excellent functions, which serve to keep your projects organized and to have a better workflow, it has an excellent user interface that is very important to maintain the dynamics in all your projects and this makes it very intuitive . Planning and sharing files is simple, you no longer need annoying emails that delay your work, Asana is the best project manager. Asana is very versatile and you can use it from a mobile device, to a laptop, and it connects with more than 120 countries, it is ideal for small, medium and large companies. It allows you to start your projects working for free.
Nothing to add and there's also nothing I dislike about Asana as a project management app. I think that unlike Trello, Asana is much more efficient when working and carrying out your projects, not only because of its free version but also because of the quality of its interface and the excellent function of its tools.
I no longer need other applications and tools to organize all my projects, emails delay work a lot so it is something that I do not miss, Asana is the best project and task manager I have used and all its excellent functions contribute to create a organization, coordination and better performance for our projects.
I've used Asana both for teams and for my individual work and it has always been game-chaning. For someone who used to have difficulty organizing my time and agenda, Asana really makes things straight-forward in a user-friendly way.
Nothing comes to mind that would make me dislike Asana. I use the free version so I don't want to complain about things that I do not have full access to.
Streamlining my work, visual workflow and accomplishing more tasks
I like the timeline feature, so I can see what stage in the process I am at.
I dislike the tagging feature. I wish there was a way to assign a person in charge, as well as the asignee.
I am solving problems of documentation. With asana, any time I make an updated note on a project there is digital documentation which helps with looking back and seeing what has or hasn't been done and who has or hasn't completed a task.
Asana is extremely useful and helps you complete a lot of important tasks, yet, it remains very intuitive and easy to use. I like that there are many project views available: list, kanban, timeline, calendar, depending on the need.
It's a shame that you have to move to the more expensive version to access most of the automations.
We organize work across teams and manage repeatable processes.
I used asana for more than 6 years. The first couple years it was essentially my glorified to-do list. Then my team started using it, and it helped us get more organized. Then I switched companies and completed the Asana Academy training to get the asana together certificate. Learning the ins and outs of asana enabled me to really maximize the platform, set up sytems for my team and taking on the role of project manager. I loved all the automations and ability to tag other items within the platform. Eventually my team decided to switch to Monday.com because some of them were more familiar with that system and another team in our company used it as well, but my preference is asana.
We had to remember to clearly label each task because sub-tasks would show up on individual's to-do list and they wouldn't have context if we didn't write clear tasks or explain in the description.
Aligning marketing team to create content and hit goals. Our production skyrocketed once we began using asana. I also used it to help with onboarding new members.
Asana is a project manager with a wide range of tools that are used to organize and plan work and help these projects to be carried out in an easier, more dynamic and efficient way. It is a fairly versatile project manager. It has functions such as Scrum that allows you to carry out high-impact work, this being very similar to the Kanban method, only with Scrum you can carry out a project and continuously improve it and thus your team can work more efficiently. The Kanban method helps us to see your entire project through a board view and each stage of the project is being represented by columns, with this method each task and subtasks go through stages until their completion.
Asana really is the best project manager software I have used, there is nothing I dislike, all its tools are excellent and make your work much easier and organized.
Asana is the best project manager I have used, its tools such as document storage, it has a content and questions library, marketing and team calendar, categorization and grouping, team chat, live and real time and with excellent control of approval processes, versions, remote access and business processes, among many other tools.
Asana continues to develop to be an all-round project collaboration tool which reduces emails to manage projects.
The weakness with Asana is the mobile app versions on tablets - cut down version of them and it automatically defaults to the mobile app on an iPad.
With a portfolio of projects, Asana helps manage the workload rather than a static Gantt chart. The integration with instagantt works well to suit both business needs.
I like the collaboration functionality along with ease of use and flexibility. It makes both working from home and office very easy. It is very easy to create, assign and update the tasks. Also, I like how easy it is to use with so many functionality in one tool. It is very user friendly and it is my go to tool.
I do not diskile anything about Asana. It is a great tool for collaboration and project management and makes it much easier to organize tasks.
Since working from home, my team has been struggling with collborative work and asana has made it really easy to manage all of our tasks. It is a great tool to be organized and increase produtivity.
I love how it keeps me focused on work, not on email, other apps, or other tools. I just get stuff done. It's easy to input tasks into Asana and it's easy to track the completeness of them. Also, it's awesome that I get to use the project management aspects of Asana to work on blog posts, email campaigns, social media management, and more.
There's very little not to like, but I don't like that you might need to create many workspaces for multiple teams. My goal is to stay focused on work and toggling back and forth between different organizations can be a struggle and take you out of the flow of work, but if you're intentional about your time, you can get over that easily.
I don't have to constantly check email and other apps to stay productive. I currently handle client work through my business, personal tasks, and client acquisition. This includes all aspects of lead generation, proposal writing, contract origination, execution, and then the work to execute on those terms. Internally, it helps me stay on top of my own marketing campaigns on social media, email marketing, content creation, marketing, and podcasting.
I like the ease of use, flexibility, tools, and the collaboration function. It makes working virtually or in the office an easy task. I can easily assign, update, and create tasks with the stroke of a key. It is very user-friendly and there is not a long learning curve when I am introducting new staff.
There really isn't anything that I dislike about Asana. It is my go to source.
The biggest problem that I am tackling is the ability to pull my team together virtually. Asana makes this task easier. I only have to use Asana and not have to have add-ons or anything else to get it to work the way it should. That takes away a lot of frustration.
Asana is supported by chat and E-mail / Help Desk and can be implemented using Mac, Windows, Android, iPad and iPhone. It has a series of functions such as live chat, comments and notes, debates and forums, with an intuitive panel of activities, task scheduling and allows you to keep track of all your projects. Asana allows you to create projects, create tasks and subtasks for those projects, it has a Kanban board, Gantt view, activity reminder, calendar synchronization, among other tools.
Nothing that can displease me, excellent work tools, from chat to project creation, Asana is software that works perfectly, and you can use it from anywhere and on any mobile or portable device. Apart from each project you can add its due date so that you are more organized, and it also notifies you if a project ends.
Now I don't need emails to be able to send jobs, with asana apart from improving the organization and being more efficient, you can keep track of all your activities, the process of each task, budgets and cost estimates, bar diagram, creation of reports and statistics and has customizable forms. Asana is the best tool for managing all your jobs and projects.
Asana has changed my entire business operation. With Asana I can be more collaborative and organized with my entire team in a way that allows us to stay highly organized and on schedule.
There is virtually nothing that I dislike about Asana. Maybe the Asana team could add the ability to put a time on due dates but I usually just note that in the item description.
My teams communication and collaboration are so much more effective with Asana. We are killing project deadlines like never before! The biggest benefit is that Asana provides a project overview that was previously unclear using only GSuite.
It is very simple to use and it is easy to scale it in a team
None, everything works well for us, it would be great if asana would be cheaper
We track all tasks all tasks and project, hold lots of data which is easy to find and see the history
Simple, agile and brilliant: 4 views and a great dashoboard.
No free and native time traking service.
Project management. Great for collaboration and communication about tasks.
Asana makes task and project management a breeze! It's SO easy to track your tasks and projects, communicate within and across teams and facilitate collaboration.
The only thing that I WOULD LOVE is to have my own customised background on projects and even have different backgrounds for different projects.
We use Asana for so much! Day-to-day task management and staff oversight, project management and task execution, delegation and workload management and more! Tasks are getting done, time management has improved and we've seen less dropped balls across teams.
There are lots of workflow management tools, but Asana trumps them all. Easy to use, can convert a list to a kanban board and Gantt charts and back again, plus handles depth better than any other tool. You never plan to need a sub task to a sub task, but it happens and it's great to have when you do.
The only critique is it can be hard to determine the pricing plan on a live site and the role free users can play in an organisation, etc. You get scared to add users.
We're a consulting group. We manage client projects through a shared Asana, we manage our own WIP in Asana, and we use it as the home for tasks that are working on the business as well.
The tool is user-friendly. It is easy to navigate.
I didn't experience any inconveniences while using it.
Asana helps to structure my working flow, prioritize the tasks and do not miss details.
Perfect for remotes teams to co-ordinate and achieve our teams business goals.
There are a couple of things - colours for text and being able to sort by multiple fields at once, oh and also being able to use formulas like spreadsheets within a project.
Too many problems to mention have been solved by using Asana. We co-ordinate 90% of our business with our team across the world. Ev erything is transparent and we can make changes on the fly,
Asana helps me organize and visualize any sort of project that I may be working on. I love color coding, teams, report building, custom fields. Probably my favorite thing is my inbox - I couldn't get through a workday without it. And I love Asana Academy - I couldn't have learned the program so well nor have shared that knowledge with my team without it.
I wish that subtasks could be added to multiple projects. I feel that the reports feature could be better - it is difficult to pull a report from both tasks and subtasks and present it to my team in a way they understand. I have found every integration that I've used between Asana and other programs to be lacking, especially Slack and Outlook, and feel if more time were devoted there integrations could truly make work more efficient. I find messages within projects to be the most underutilized part of the program with every team I work with and think Asana could benefit greatly from an internal instant messaging system. A big hassle is that annually repeated tasks regularly repopulate to an incorrect date, which means all of these tasks need to be set to a new date manually. My team uses Asana so extensively that it's very easy to lose track of a task or comment that I'm not actively a part of - some kind of bookmarking feature would be very beneficial.
As far as benefits, I can't even count them. I'm amazed how much I can share with different people or teams across different projects. It makes it simple to bring in third parties who only need access to certain tasks. Asana has made our hiring process more streamlined, our Marketing more efficient, and Operations easier to track. Over the past two years my team has began preparing for all meetings in Asana and creating an agenda that anyone can add to has made meeting time the most productive it's ever been.
