i like that you can talk to other co-workers and it is very user-friendly. I learn how to use it in just one week.

sometimes the notifications can get lost. There are a lot of places to put info. (heys, ings, mentioned, assignments)

I don't have to remind my team for daily and weekly work reports. Basecamp does the work for me. Moreover, the report is transparent to the whole team and helps me avoid any discrepancy

Basecamp allowed for the corporate organization when our company just started.

Communication got a little muttered quick and fast and we needed to branch out fast which is what lead us to Salesforce.

We were able to use Basecamp to achieve all of small business needs until we exploded.

Basecamp is hands down the best project management system I've ever used. Basecamp has tons of features but the best feature in my opinion, would have to be the Check-In feature because it allows us to see each others progress.

Basecamp is a little more expensive compared to its competitors but they offer more services like real time chat and even file storage.

We started implementing a new software for the company and we needed a way to keep track with collaborators who were overseas. This program allowed to that and more. We were also able to use several features such as the to do list, sharing files, sharing our milestones, and just keeping everything organized.

I have liked a lot of things about basecamp. We can easily make groups in it and ping all of them at once which is frequently needed in team projects.We can easily share documents on it. Sharing photos , images etc. are easy as well. It have increased the efficency of our office for sure by saving a lot of time which used to waste while sharing files personally to each of project members.We can make group for announcements, giving guidlines for particular projects on it, which are done by project leads. The groups can be made for birthdays and work anniversary , on which all of us have fun while greeting colleagues which eventually increasing our bonding.

There are some improvements needed on basecamp as well . It's android app surely needs the improvement and more features need to be added. An option for group audio and video meetings will be great feature to have.

Our company admin suggested this software while we were doing manual task with help of excel sheets. The mobile app support is super awesome and works on the go for our field sales peoples. We didnt have enough time to setup the application, but our employees have managed to signup and implemented the application for the organization. We didnt really worry about pricing since it automated all our task and made more productive. Our queries were always answered reasonably and the support peoples helped us a lot in implementing the software within the organization.

We didnt have any negative experience while using the basecamp product.

I like the user functionality and how easy it is to chat to clients on the platform.

It can get confusing if there is a big project - and hard to integrate with other systems.

Collaboration with clients has been transformed.

Base camp is one of the most amazing project collaboration platforms which is very useful for project management. It has a really flexible and reasonable price list, which makes it a suitable tool for both small and big companies. Basecamp's interface is fairly intuitive enough, something that's easy to work with indeed.

Integration on Basecamp are limited. There are sonebuseful tools that cannot be integrated with Basecamp

We are currently using the latest version of Basecamp's, and it's absolutely a productive project management software. We use to get better collaboration at work.

Basecamp is a wonderful tool. With Basecamp, our clients can simply post on the message board, add to and check the status of projects, review the to-do board and upload files and documents to the doc/files board. Very simple and very straightforward! It has been a game-changer for us and has enabled us to add so much value while introducing better organization and accountability on our team and with our clients.

Editing notes is a bit of a pain. There isn't a "live editor", so you have to actually click to go into a note, click edit, make the edits and then save your changes. I would love to have a live editor that removes some of those steps for us so we can save time!

We needed a place to keep notes and messages, to-do lists/tasks, have a calendar to track due dates and a way to store files. Basecamp has solved all of those problems for us!

The more you use it, the more it benefits you and your team.

Although there is some control over what is viewable to the client. It would be nice to have an easy switch between what's the client can see and not see. I would also like to see better branding for our own company when using Basecamp. Prioritize tools as a highlight over others, for example, the Message Board so clients can see what to read first before jumping into other areas.

Grants them a visual landscape of what's being worked on. - Brings others into the discussion instead of jumping between apps and backtracking. Much of the time wasted is confirming if messages were previously received or finding out who it was sent to. With Basecamp, all cards are on the table and accessible to anyone involved, keeping the necessary communication in the middle and available.

The best thing about Basecamp is that it contains all the essential tools that one might need at work. it is a great project management tool that allows everyone to participate in a project life cycle very easy. It is super easy to divide work into smaller tasks and delegate work.

What Basecamp lacks the most is the progress tracking mechanism. it would be great to have an opportunity to see who spent how much time on specific tasks. I would assume that this does not only bother me.

Basecamp facilitates the workflow process in my company. I think that without this amazing application we would all suffer with inefficiency.

We love being able to manage our projects with Basecamp. Generating tasks, tracking progress, communicating with team members are but a few of things we appreciated.

We wish that Basecamp could add time sheets and other features that pertain more to accounting. Better integration with accounting software such as Kashoo.

We are able to quick realize completion rates of our projects, and allow other teams members to catch up on status.

It has such a simple workflow and notification process that allows you to work from any device and answer straight from email. Love this software and have been using it for years

For really large projects it can become a bit overwhelming if there are lots of stakeholders. The threads can become long and tough to sift through

I like that Basecamp makes it easy to collaborate on a project with a large group of people. It makes file sharing extremely easy.

There is nothing I dislike about Basecamp.

Ease of use. Clean interface. No junk, straight forward to use. Not complicated like other project management software. It is a simple no nonsense tool. Love the founders for their thoughts and view which they share in their blogs.

I have everything I need in this tool. Only thing I felt is that, tt difficult to manage large programs or projects for enterprises.

Basecamp is very easy to use. We can make groups of peoples to ping them.The instruction for projectvand meetings.File sharing like documents and images is easy.Notification for birthdays and other announcements on it keeps frienfly environment and enhance bonding of employees.

Overall it is a great platform but there are few things to be improved. Option for video and audio conferencing should be added. More number of emotes will be helpful.

Basecamp has increased the productivity. Giving instruction for projects and meetings,doubt solving etc.

As a freelancer, I look for seamless collaboration between vendors, clients, and other freelancers. Basecamp does just that, and intuitively. The UI is not clunky, and is very capable. Basecamp is continuing to develop its features, making it an even stronger tool. I honestly wish ALL my clients would adopt it!

Versions change somewhat regularly. (Every year or so). I'm not sure why I have two instances running, and it when it changes, it seems the old projects stay over in the old instance. Some support around that would be great.

Deadlines, task management, time off, a hub for freelancers and staff within larger orgs...the list goes on. I enjoy being able to go to ONE place for all of my communication needs. It has eliminated email threads, (thanks to pings and comment threads), makes prototypes and files easy to share and organize, and allows for transparency, yet in a secure environment. Highly recommend over the competition, which I have used quite regularly because of my variety of clients and jobs over the years.

Nothing that I can think of. Basecamp is continually releasing new aspects to its products.

It makes it easier for me to work with my many internal teams and stay organized with deadlines and be in the know as to what everyone is doing.

I really like how simple and easy to access Basecamp is. We are involved in different teams and Bascamp does a great job by organizing them as well as the people involved. What I also like is the activity tab and how I can see the activities that went on that day and days before just in case I missed seeing a notification the day it was sent.

I do not see a downside about Basecamp at the moment.

We have to have constant communication with our Dispatch team therefore Basecamp allows us to send to-do tasks to them regarding deliveries and pickups. We know the problem is solved once the to-do is completed by a Dispatch member. The benefits I have realized is that the problems we had before using Basecamp have minimized a lot.
