Great for small businesses. Fairly affordable for the number of channels you can connect for an annual or monthly fee compared to other comparable software.
If you are working with multiple channels, they have now disabled the ability to rearrange them. I like mine alphabetical by client and then listed in the same order based on what challennels that client has (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram). They've taken this away so now I have clients mixed in with other clients and have to hunt for the right channel. This makes it way too easy to accidentally schedule on the wrong account. I have 100% canceled our subscription and moved to a competitor for this specific feature change which I've requested they edit several times.
I do like the queue feature so I don't have to take time to select a specific time to schedule a post each day.
I liked the convenience of planning, managing, and reviewing social content in one place.

Very easy to schedule social posts across multiple platforms.
We used the free account so obviously limited features. Many times would schedule a post and it either wouldn't post (especially on LinkedIn) or would drop the link and link preview (especially on Twitter and Facebook).
It made scheduling social posts for four platforms much simpler than going to each network individually. Could move through my tasks more quickly.

It's very simple to use. The layout is great and it's very easy to navigate.

I enjoy that there are multiple social media platforms that I can use through this platform. They are easy to connect to and manage. I really lik that they offer a free membership that you can essentially stay with forever. However, as you grow you will find you do need the additional services. The good thing is that there are lots of upgrade options that range in price.e
I was having a lot of difficulty with automatic publishing. When I requested additional assistance I was pretty much told to figure it out myself (it was said professionally but not very helpful...what's the point of 'contact support' if they don't actually assist you). The pricing to upgrade also jumps drastically for the different packages. if there was just one think in another package you needed it can increase your fees a drastic amount.
I was using Buffer as a social media organizer. Where I can manage what's going on in all platforms in one place. I was also using this to manage my posts and scheduling of posts. Therefore, I would say that my main business solutions I was trying to achieve through using this program were; organization and planning when it comes specificall to social media.
You can access multiple social media platforms at once, and it's easy to navigate in comparison to hootsuite.
It doesn't automatically show you a preview like hootsuite does.

I hate that you can't attach GIFs to your Buffer posts. I also don't like that Buffer will sometimes disconnect and you won't receive a notification that this happened until it's too late. When my colleague reached out to Buffer to complain about this, they simply said that it's a bug that they're working on fixing.

The interface is very user friendly and it’s easy to change between social media platforms.
There is a limit on how many posts you can have on Buffer, and you have to pay a premium for that. Also, Buffer does not produce picture web links on Twitter.

Is easy to keep social media accounts updated. It has an automated feature for timing social media posts. Also can initiate a social media post from the webpage of the content currently in. Plus allows you to customize messages for each social media account, so you will not be limited.
Not as user-friendly for Pinterest. I have found Tailwind to be better for that platform. Also seems to be hit or miss with Instagram posts. Wish could personalize the features more to what own personal needs are. Hate paying for what I don't need or use.
I work with different venues and help with social media. Instead of traditionally logging in on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, and other social media sites, Buffer will do it all at once. It also makes it convenient for users to create posts and have them uploaded with a single click.
