Clearbit is very helpful in finding emails.
Sometimes it's frustrating when you can't find the right email for a person and it's not listed.
Definitely helps with networking!
The ease of use and Google Chrome plug-in. To easily find contact and emails within a few clicks is awesome and drastically reduces my time spent on those tasks.
The type ahead feature once you have found a company you are researching has been a bit wonky for me. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

It's a great free tool to find email addresses. For the most part they are accurate and you can find a good majority of email addresses.
There is a cap on the number of emails that you can look up within a month, but after all it is free so they need to make money somehow!

Clearbit has an easy to use interface that isn't overly complicated or difficult to navigate. I love the fact it connects with Gmail instead of forcing me to use a third party website and remember log ins, which is a key reason why I would recommend it to others. It has quite a broad range of contacts which have come in handy when I've been struggling to find a contact for someone.
Sometimes a company will appear but then upon clicking on it, there are no actual email contacts available. For example, I was looking for contacts for a certain record label and they appeared in the drop down list but upon further investigation there were no actual emails available which was quite frustrating for me. I think it would be much better if they just weren't listed if Clearbit had no actual email contacts for them. A bit pointless!
I manage a handful of rock bands. They have new albums which they are trying to find a home for and I often ask them for a list of record labels that they would see as a good fit for their music. While I still like to contact record labels the old fashioned way, face to face or with mail it's often much more time effective to just send an email with some links to their music and some brief information about the artist. However, sometimes the Labels that are suggested to me are new to me and I donโt have any contacts there, which is where Clearbit comes in allowing me to track down email addresses of key A&R and label managers from some of the world's top record labels.
Its really quick to get an answer with no time wasted flipping through useless email addresses
Going through gmail and having to lave the window is a little annoying and the emails arent 100% accurate but who is?

As a smaller vendor, changes to their model can come as a surprise. The core functionality has remained the same, however.
We use Clearbit to enrich our records in Salesforce. Our sales team loves the fact that they can see so much data about their prospects at a glance right in Salesforce.
seeing all the humans within a company. I find that crossreferencing with linkedin is helpful. About 70-80% of the contacts from clearbit are accurate.
That it's not totally complete (some will only have like two employees), and sometimes it shows a few people but doesn't have any information on them.

It is really easy with an integration into Gmail. Then it's really straight forward, quick and efficient. And the data accuracy is excellent.
Database for some countries is really limited, for example Belgium, Netherlands. But otherwise when there is info, the accuracy is really great.
Discovering how to reach prospects.
The ease with which I get the contact of a person is the best thing about clearbit. It has a really important place one's days task.
Some contacts are not available and some contacts email id are not there.

That I can get an overview that takes me literarily 10 minutes or less to go over.
Probably that there could be abit more variety on the services. I searched MDM and got like 15 options but the one I ended up choosing wasnt there.

Excellent resource for finding accurate business emails - when the product had record of the company/employees, the email was almost always accurate leading to a successful delievered email.
I found that when I was looking up specific companies, there was quite a few times that the product did not have a record of that company or certain employees. Larger database would likely lead to a better experience.
I used the product to find emails of executives in order to reach out for sales purposes. The product was a great resource for increased email deliverability since I had fewer emails bounce back while using it.
Clearbit has really great firmographic information, especially for larger or medium size orgs. Primarily limited to the US, though. Has been very easy to implement. The implementation team and most recent CSM has been great, but we definitely experienced some issues with continuity due to changes on the Clearbit side with their organization. Match rate on the people size is much lower, but I understand that they are working on tightening things up.
Their Prospecting tool leaves much to be desired.We've seen sporadic issues with inaccurate company info, especially smaller size orgs/niche companies. I would love a deeper level of information to be surfaced. We've also seen some issues with their reverse IP lookup targeting, so if that could be cleaner/more accurate, it would be great.
We use Clearbit primarily to enrich accounts and contacts/leads. We've been using it recently for account intent data for both known and anonymous users. Deanonymizing website traffic is another use case for us.
We find auto enrichment in our MAP Hubspot very useful as it requires next to none manual effort. We also use Clearbit on our web forms to shorten the form and it helps with conversions. Lastly, we are able to identify accounts on high-intent pages that we can pass on to sales development.
Setup was a bit lengthy and tricky, we ran into couple of issues which took some time to resolve. Lastly, the inability to exclude certain URLs from visitor data.

Auto lead enrichment in salesforce has been an issue because of our large database. We have to manually enrich in segments.

Data enrichment by clearbit is not always accurate and sometimes it is not able to fetch data that is available in open source. So cant rely fully on Clearbit
With this tool, we generally pull the account data like company size, revenue, etc and on the basis of these data, we segment our accounts to different market segments.
