I didn't really get to use it. What do you want me to say?
I can't access email contacts so I had to cancel the enrichment subscription. Your company doesn't offer a lot on finding email addresses so I had no choice but to go to another company that can supply my needs.
It's not useful to me. Sorry
You forget it’s there until you need it, then it becomes an invaluable companion
Since I’m not a power user, I don’t get to use the more advanced features that often and when I do, it’s a chore to search for the steps
- When scheduling calls I know time zone and can get timing better - Improved intelligence about the company they work in without having to fire google or linkedin
The ability to search by name or by designation . SEO can be tweaked for better results.
The database is limited and sometimes the search does not return any results, though they are available by name for instance.
The power to reach out to various people in an organization of your choice.
To feature to find an email address when writing an email it's pretty amazing because it also shows you other email addresses within the same organization. As well, it shows the list of companies that been searched before, so you can always go back and try to send another email to someone else if you want to.
We get some false positives, especially on non-work email domains like me.com, yahoo.com, and even occasionally gmail where Clearbit resolves the company to Apple, Yahoo, Google, etc. When that happens, there's not a straightforward way to fix this and cleanup the record.
Saving time and enabling sales and marketing to more quickly identify leads, their titles and their social accounts
Good tool to quickly find people in interested companies. Why I put just 7 points - not so many contact details from companies. Hope it will grow
Nothing critical. My only critic is to improve # of email batabase
Government relations
It's effective in looking up new contacts and integrating with gmail.
Poor at giving relevant & actionable data on contacts in an email (like rapportive)
Reaching out to other individuals within target accounts.
I like that I am able to look up emails
I don't like that the searches are limited to twenty five
I am able to better contact my prospects, and have less email bounces
Clearbit searches dozens of data sources in real-time with high speed & this tool have a great db handling as well.
Need to scale-up the database for leads (Companies) that doesn't have much SEO activities or web presence to boost of but they are potential too.
We are trying to make a dent in the GRC (Governance,Risk & Compliance) space with our agile & analytics suite of products which helps organizations to take meet their regulatory requirements. For that Clearbit is used to generate leads.
Clearbit allows me to find necessary contact information on the key contacts at leads I'm having trouble connecting with.
Sometimes information is not up to date.
Finding contacts for leads that I'm working on in my pipe.
I think Clearbit is onto something! It's easy and fast to use, accuracy as well.
Not all organizations there and not all employees there. unsure if this is something that employees opt out of.
contacting people effectively, verifications.
I like the company overview, the hq phone number and linkedin link is helpful.
The personal emails aren't the best but have worked/helped out at times.
Reaching out to qualified leads. Realized the benefit of knowing patterns of the email address structure so if the contact is not in the list, you can at least guess without clicking into 3 people to get a general sense.
I love the widget functionality from within Salesforce. It is great to be able to search for contacts from within the prospector section and then easily create contacts within Salesforce complete with contact data.
The company level data must not refresh all that much. Just today I was looking to upload 20 to 30 contacts within, let's say, 10 different enterprise size accounts. I knew who the contacts were and their email addresses, but because the "create record" functionality in prospector saves you some manual work, I looked up the contacts' names in clearbit. Only 20% of the contacts that I needed to upload could actually be found in Clearbit. At first I thought it was because some of the contacts were fairly new to the organizations, and I know that products like Clearbit or Zoominfo can only do their data refreshes so often, but there were multiple contacts that have been with these companies for at least a year, so that was alarming to see that Clearbit seemed to be missing all of those people. The company news section is also not as comprehensive as some other sources.
Trying to get contact data on prospects and customers.
Clearbit is an incredibly simple tool to use, especially when you're trying to capture better lead intelligence for reaching out to target sales accounts.
I'm not sure where they pull the data from, but it often seems to be inaccurate, especially when it comes to person data like email addresses.
We use Clearbit at my company to identify inbound leads coming to request information or a demo. We also use it to build targeted campaign lists for outbound emails.
When working on Google Chrome, Clearbit was one of the most accurate tools for finding executive email addresses, compared to inferior competitors like RocketReach and GetEmail.
Unfortunately, the Chrome extension stopped working (where I frequently used Clearbit).
Locating emails for sales prospect targets has saved our company a ton of time and we were able to depend on Clearbit for accuracy -- even when employees were just hired.
I have often used the ability to search for company email addresses within email. This helps me track down prospects that I may want to reach out to. I especially like being able to see their role without having to go to linkedin.
With any company there are not a ton of people and the people I am looking for are often not there. Having a more robust list would be helpful.
Prospecting, company sizing, email finding
Clearbit makes it easier to find the information I need in order to do my job.
The extension in salesforce does not always work, and sometimes has incorrect information
It's a huge time saver. Being able to access the information clearbit provides from one place.
Easy way to view and identify contacts. Integration with sales force was a big help as it provided a one stop shop for lead gen and reach out
Nothing important yet. I would like to see more structure to how leads can be obtained
Lead generation and reach outs have been quicker. Team’s throughput is much higher
ClearBit is free or at least the version is use is free which is great!
The coverage of EMEA data could be better.
Funding contact data and expanding accounts.
The Salesforce integration is very clean, simple and user friendly. The contact information from the Prospector product has been accurate and very help
Pretty poor CS. It always takes multiple days and follow ups to get answers to basic questions/issues. Unwilling to go above and beyond in any capacity to help their customers out.
Find new businesses to go after. Enrich company information for our existing data for better segmentation and targeted messaging. New contacts and contact info on existing accounts.
If the product does what it says it will do, then I think it could be a very powerful product. But I was sold a dream, not a result.
Their sales and customer success team is overwhelmed. Especially the customer success team, never responsive. Never want to hop on a call to solve problems. all you get is an email instruction after days.
Enrich my leads, but so far it hasn't done too much to help my team yet.
