Compare CorelDRAW Graphics Suite with other popular tools in the same category.
It is very easy to use and intuitive, so it allows you to create graphic vectors quickly. I often use the freehand tool to draw lines and straight line segments. There are many online resources to improve design skills with this software. CorelDraw offers a free trial to explore its features. I like that it is compatible with Illustrator projects, so I can open them seamlessly from CorelDRAW.
I've had a few inconveniences installing manual updates, because the program doesn't recognize the new installation files.
With CorelDRAW I have been able to design the appearance of our website. I have also been able to create the flyers for the publications of our social networks. It is possible to add 3D effects and also PowerClip objects. Also, I have been able to open Illustrator or InDesign projects to take advantage of old designs.
CorelDraw is the great software for start learning graphic designer because when I start learning CorelDraw it is so easy making logo/shape for newbie. one of the conveniences is when you want to make rounded corner in a shape with CorelDraw it's just pick round corner in top menu. Compare to using Ai to make rounded corner in a shape it's more difficults.
I my opinion for the bad thing in CorelDraw is when you making art work it's so hard to find layer position in every shape we make because object manager it's too small. And my other focus is when I create a form and have to merge or change the form using the trim / intersect function of a file format. PPS sometimes the results are even destroyed unlike using Ai but it's not too annoying.
So many projects with CorelDraw that I completed such as creating logos, website mockups, instagram feeds, banners, leaflets and so on. This software is very easy to help me realize all that. And so many tutorial in internet to learn CorelDraw
O use CorelDRAW to make logos and vectors draws.
I dislike a litlle unintuitive layout. I think if the software are the general apearence like others, os beter.
I love tool to raster imagem to vector.
We are using CorelDraw for many years now for designing vector graphics. It is by far the easiest tool we've ever used for vector graphic designing.
There is absolutely nothing we dislike about CorelDraw, It evolved for many years now and they have fixed almost every bug we've faced.
CorelDraw running very smoothly even on large files.
The best thing about the tool is that it has nearly all the essential shortcuts and features.
Lags a lot because it uses a lot of ram for a high end graphics.
Graphic Designing and poster designing
Best thing is that it supports various shortcuts which makes the work easier.
Hangs a lot and uses a lot of ram because of which using other applications at the same time becomes tough
Poster and graphic designing
The best of it is that it has various simple shortcuts which make the work very easy. Along with that it can be used to create any type and size of graphics.
It is a little bulky software because of which it lags sometimes.
Basically using it for graphic designing
Quick learning curve. Easy to use and draw new pics.
The painter is not the most robust way to design poctures.
Helped design shirts . I have been ble to learn fast for design and to help me grow my business.
Flexible, specific tool to do everything you need “ advertising, concept, arts, gifts, fashion, decoration and any thing you think about”. When you know how to use it and understand it you’ll design anything with it.
Even it’s the greatest program I worked with but till today still the is problems with fonts and some time if the file with many details you may expect sudden death of the program.
Great flexibility with designs preparation and so effective with files designed for laser cutting machines and routes too.
I like several factors about Coreldraw, especially its rich and unique tools suitable for just about anyone
I really can't think of any negative aspect of Coreldraw.
I solve varieties of problems with it, be it vector graphics or regular photo edition you name it
The ease way to use it's various tools which can be most helpful for my work purpose. It's like Once you got a grip you can creating/editing any type of work.
Sometimes it's Taking much time to loading in the system. Which can be irritating.
The mainly benefits is to create banner, leaflet etc for higher level marketing of our work in local level as well on social media.
It allows you to do everything, especially advertising designs, vector graphics for printing and for the web. It has a much better performance than Adobe Illustrator in terms of the consumption of CPU and RAM.
The learning curve is usually steep at the beginning but once you get used to it you will be surprised at all the capabilities offered by this software.
It is one of the best software for illustrations and graphic design in the market.
It is easily one of the best vector processing tools out there. Simple yet precise and powerful. Very straightforward for people who come from the 3D world and need to make production ready vectors. The possibility of working with dimensions right inside a 2D program makes it very powerful and useful in an architectural environment.
It is a bit too barebones in terms of the graphics aspect of the creative process. sure it can get things done, but it's a lot more cumbersome when compared to its direct competitor. The colour palette could use a facelift.
It's Simply superior at numerically working with vectors. I can trust they are generated correctly and that what a measurement says it's really what it says it is. No funky holes between surfaces and definitely no imprecise edges like it's normal in other programs. Great also for its compatibility with laser cutters and CNCs
Has a very clear user interface and is easy to use once you get used to it
It is a heavy software so lags and crashes some times.
Poster designing and Print media designing.
Corel draw has the best user experience for graphic design and is very beginner friendly. I like it's design capability and speed at which I can churn out artworks. Corel has support for custom guidelines which is super helpful while sketching out logos.
Some of the advanced features related to 3D features and cardboard resizing
Corel draw usually solves my logo design needs and drawing simple characters
Corel Draw, in my opinion, is a classic of graphic design and has often been renewed over time. The truth is that its advantages make it a program to take into account. It serves to work with vector drawing, facilitating the creation of useful objects, such as logos and digital illustrations. I also believe that for its benefits it is one of the most used graphic design payment tools in Windows. Its environment is very complete and you can have very professional results
In my opinion it is a program that takes up a lot of space on the hard disk and has a high price. Also, when working on an image with vector graphics, its visualization must be translated into pixels.
We use CorelDRAW very commonly for printing, banners, digital printing, giant advertisements, signage, fashion design, etc. In my work, Corel Draw has become a graphic design tool that can not be missing, even above Adobe suites, but it also depends a lot on the professional sector you move.
The One-click management of elements in CorelDraw and various shortcuts. Along with that, it is very simple to use with a easy User Interface.
It hangs when creating a bulk file with bigger size and more no. of elements. One more issue is that it closes without notice.
Poster designing Designing of printing content. Social Media Post Vector image designing Logo Designing
This app has aided alot for me , the great design tools and features is on the top gear.
It has limited resources and sometimes it's slow.
It has given my jobs great deal of designs, I've used it to design cards and pictures too
It is a tool of easy handling that allows to do vectorial designs of great quality, web design, to make sketches, with optimal functions of filter, interactive controls, that facilitate the handling of the software achieving to do a design of high quality and professionalism.
There are functions to improve the images that should be improved in future updates
It is a tool that helped me a lot to improve my designs, it has a range of very useful functions that have helped me to improve my designs to have greater chances of being creative.
With the Interactive Fill tool, you can apply the gradient as easy as creating a line, and change colors and angles. Oh, and it also applies gradient to text, without converting it to curves. Transparency is applied to any object with convenience using the “Transparency” tool. Easy and fast.Allows you to customize the width and height of pixels, resolution, percentage, etc. It has the option “Export only selected” which makes it export only what was clicked, allowing to export only some objects or the whole art. And it doesn't matter how large your artwork is or how large your computer is - Corel will export even if it takes 10 minutes.utline back on any object. It has 43 formats, without prejudice of company, including .AI .EPS. PDF .ETC .TAL Each time you use the save command, it automatically saves its
What I didn't like very much about coreldraw is that it is not very easy to learn, it takes a long time for you to use the user interface and also the shortcut keys are not common, unlike Microsoft. Hotkeys that are simple, but once you use the system, the sky is your limit, because it's fun to work with coreldraw and many wonderful things can be done on it.
The Trace function, which we can convert images into editable illustrations, is very useful when designing many things. In new versions, we can attach the font files to the cdr document, which solved many problems in previous versions when transferring documents.
CorelDRAW is best graphic editing software which I met ,Mostly like features is it can export our source file to many number of formats ,Such as PDF,JPGE,TIF,DOC...etc,And also using CorelDRAW get things done so quickly because of I can do edit by using basic tools ,I like CorelDRAW interface than other photo editing software,It is simply and understandable,Not only this but also allows custom VBA plugins and scripting we can do many more things,That is why I saying CorelDRAW is best
When we using we must have high performance computer,Because it highly using RAM, And also price is high, normally full version price is $669 .When i Click icon of CorelDRAW to open,it getting more time,Can't work on CorelDRAW without have deep learning ,Normally Peoples using only basic tools,
I using CorelDRAW for design e-flyer,leaflet,logos..etc,It very help full for my day to day works, And also I doing some edit by using CorelDRAW,As like as It solving my Problems
This software is use for making visiting card and pamphlets it is also use for editing photos.
It is difficult to use and not compatible with all platform
We use for photo editing.
This software is equiped with Advanced features and options suitable for professional use.the learning curve is not that steep,it has a very user friendly interface and is easy to learn.its great for creating graphics, vector images and many more.its sleek design allows anyone to learn and use this software to attain professional results.
There is not much negative to say about this software,it has no significant issues i have encounteres so far.
I have used this software to create graphics and logos for my work as a freelancer,it has helped me attain professional result and high quality designs.
CorelDraw has been in continuous development for decades and is a professional class vector graphics tool. I used this to convert the drawn images into vectorized graphics for my maps, projects, brochures and posters. I used CorelDraw to make complex multi-layered maps. The "Trace Bitmap" feature uses Corel's PowerTrace feature to convert bitmap images to vector graphic images. Since I'm so against Adobe's "Creative Cloud" monthly rental system, I've been choosing CorelDraw, which I've been able to buy and use for years.
Because of the many features available in CorelDraw, it will take a long time to learn how to use them. However, if you need a professional tool that can perform any task, you should purchase CorelDraw. CorelDraw is downright expensive to buy. This makes it difficult for an independent user to make such a large spend unless the software is used frequently. For researchers without a licensed software budget or a large software budget, open-source applications can also do the job.
It will lose access to the files I created. Specifically, I want CorelDraw to be able to open bitmap images in Corel Photopaint, complete edits, and ask them to do them, and automatically import them into CorelDraw.
Corel draw has inbuilt rich learning content for users aiming to learn without a tutor. The workspace is user friendly as it models the normal paint software. Corel draw allows for importing images and adding logos and sketches to it. It can be used for all business types ranging from small to high enterprise. It is quicker and easier to create business cards, Barcodes, logos easily as it is a vector based type. Less expensive among its competitors. Language compatible is wider than others
It can not create raster based images. Not flexible for use in photo editing and animation
It has been used to edit images for suitability in pdf presentations during meetings.
Pros: training menu; clarity; tooltips; freedom for creativity.
Do not indetify any disliles. It's really good soft
Vector graphics editor CorelDRAW is a useful and fairly simple program for working with images. If I need to edit the image, I immediately resort to using Corel Draw, I do not even think about other programs. Having tried many programs, I came to the conclusion that in Corel Draw there is everything that is needed, and there is nothing superfluous in this. This program allows you to edit images, crop images, add effects, change colors, position objects, create simple shapes, create design layouts. To summarize: the program is very useful, practical and functional, I showed you only a part of the capabilities of CorelDRAW, they are endless. But as for the work in the printing industry, I think Coreldraw will be better there than its competitors. Bottom line: The best program for working in printing.
So there are some advantages in this program. Teaching menu that meets you at the first start of CorelDraw. It helps me a lot at my first steps in learning. It just explains hard things in easy language. Also engine, which allows me to adjust not only the thickness and stiffness of the brush, but also the parameters of the canvas itself. All of this creates a special atmosphere and convenience of the program
I don’t really like the price of the program. I know that there are many professional designers and programmers working on this program but it’s just too much even for me when I’m had not the worst job. Also I’m face with some crashes while working and I don’t even know how to fix it.
Some time ago I worked in typography and I was told to made flyers and posters for the circus and in that moment I found this program on some forum and just buy it. So I’m still using it at this moment!
-Vector and raster graphics editing capabilities, -Support for over one hundred file formats, -Native 64-bit support, -Multi -core processor support, -Smart Carver and shape tools, -Guidebook, tips and techniques, and video tutorials
Because the suite consists of several applications, there are an overwhelming number of tools and features; it may take you a while to learn how to use them all to their fullest potential.
CorelDRAW Graphics Suite is a collection of graphics software programs. With the help of these programs, CorelDraw Graphics enables me to create illustrations, logos, brochures, flyers, designs and other types of graphics. The Suite Includes interactive design tools that help me create professional-looking vector illustrations, page layouts, edited photos, web graphics and animations.
Has some new features that are nice, while some of the changes make it harder to work in the work space window.
Getting a error when sending design to my Laser Engraver about color matching and when I call technical support they just tell me to contact my printer manufacture. I have told them repeatedly that I am using a Laser Engraver and I have no issue with Corel Draw X8 only with Corel Draw 2019. They just keep telling me to contact my printer manufacture which I have done and I have reinstalled the dashboard interface software and still have the issue. Corel Technical support is terrible, they just want to push off the problem on the customer instead of working the issue. I have been using Corel Draw from the X3 version that came with my engraver. But I am honestly thinking of changing to Adobe Illustrator Suite do to the terrible technical support.
Allows me to convert images from bitmap to vector images for use in designs used for Engraving onto various custom made US products.
