"Make the switch - you'll get the Gist ot it quickly"
What do you like best about Gist?

The UI and UX of Gist makes it one of the better helpdesk platforms I've used. I've found that there is usually a trade-off or compromise when it comes to features and ease of use, but Gist marries the two wonderfully. It integrates wonderfully with the rest of my stack and is extremely easy to deploy to sites. There are a ton of great features backed by a great support team.

What do you dislike about Gist?

The only thing I dislike is that without spending more on the product, I miss out on features like Webhooks. Fortunately there is still access to the API, but many tools I use rely on Webhooks, so that missing functionality (for me - given my plan) is a bit of a downer, but I would say that's the only gripe I have with the system.

What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have integrated Gist for our WordPress site which runs on BuddyBoss, LearnDash, and WP Fusion. We are able to use Gist not only as a support tool, but also as a CRM for WP Fusion to tag products and gate access to content.

What do you like best about Gist?

How easy it is to start, and use. I didn't know how much a website chat was needed, I've closed so many sales using GIST.

What do you dislike about Gist?

I love it. This is the perfect tool, everything you need is included: chat, calendar, crm, marketing, chat bots, just to mention a few.

What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?

Going through all the Marketing Funnel, from Sales, Customer Services, Automation, Email Marketing.

I DEEPLY have appreciated Gist's timely support. Their tools and the platform are always improving. You're definitely in good hands with the Gist team!

What do you dislike about Gist?

I wish that Gist had more integrations with other tools like Thrivecart, which I use. But, I'm VERY grateful that I can get by using Gist's HTML codes to integrate with other tools. It is how I'm able to connect with Thrivecart.

What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have a reliable email automation service. Thankfully, I heard about Gist in the early days and got a lifetime plan. Super grateful to have this. It also gives me a wonderful chat box for my website. It helps me automate much of my customer onboarding experience through emails after they purchase.

What do you like best about Gist?

GIST automation capabilities are excellent, even at the lower price points. These features immensely helped me as a more recent business with not lots of upfront capital. I also benefit from the smooth integration with WordPress. I am recommending GIST for being a professional chat, email marketing, and CRM option. Chat is handy and valuable.

What do you dislike about Gist?

Windows and MAC applications should have the option to start automatically when the computer starts.

What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?

After I started using the GIST chat, I noticed an increase in sales and more significant interaction between the site and visitors

What do you like best about Gist?

The live chat works well. Booking meetings is easy and efficient. I love the integrated knowledge base site you can create. I love seeing where leads go on my website. Their intent and the pages that convert. Auto emails depending on filters is also great. Android app for live chats Zapper integrations

What do you dislike about Gist?

There is no mobile site or app for managing the backend. There is a mobile app for backend administration. You have to use the website.

What do you like best about Gist?

My questions and concerns quickly answered either immediately or within 2 business days. I was in the beta group so was able to acquire a lifetime license for one low cost. They are continually improving their product. It is an all in one product and right now is providing me with more features than I am currently using but inspires me to explore more ways I can reach my audience.

What do you dislike about Gist?

My biggest complaint is that as a lifetime member there are new features for which I am denied access. As a bera member I would have hoped I'd continue to receive full access to all new features. That being said, I am able to do everything I need to do to segment and otherwise reach and communicate with my audience.

What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am getting the hang of this platform. I have been able to substantially increase my mailing list through opt-in offers. I use Convertful forms which I can link to Gist. Its email options are easier to work out and I use both broadcast email to regularly attend to my list members as well as drip campaigns that send out emails automatically to list members.

I like that if potential customers need help, they can chat with us in real-time.

What do you dislike about Gist?

Sometimes while I am logged in, my chat status goes inactive. Then I have to change my status to Away before I can change it back to Available.

What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?

Some customers are more comfortable chatting like text messaging rather than calling up a business.

The top-end premium pricing is a bit much, but I guess it's low for big businesses.

* Great customer support (responsive, knowledgable) * Continuous upgrades and updates * Intuitive once you get the hang of it * Fast and hardly fail to load * Great native integrations (ConvertBox!) and Zapier is always useful

What do you dislike about Gist?

* Slight UX improvement, but no biggie * Automation and event tracking may need some time to get used to * Wishlist: forms allow more font customization to suit website branding * Wishlist: that forms allow dropdowns, multiple-choice, sliders etc * Wishlist: there's an email tracking feature to track replies

What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?

* Using it as a CRM to replace Hubspot * Managing our key prospects and clients * I used to have problem tracking form submissions based on UTM codes. Now it's much easier. * Having a team inbox for FB messenger and live chat is also useful * Ability to auto tag based on behaviours is a plus

What do you like best about Gist?

It is a very powerful piece of software yet very intuitive to implement. Before finding Gist, I used 3 other pieces of software and tried to make them work together. WIth Gist, I have Live Chat, Help Desk, Lead Generation, and Email Marketing all under one roof and it makes daily management much easier

What do you dislike about Gist?

While I like everything about it, I hope in the future they implement some basic CRM features such as assigning task and funnel stage workflows

Gist is an integrated customer contact help desk product that is great for Saas companies. Rather than having to purchase and integrate separate systems for chat, help desk and email automation, Gist provides all three in a beautifully integrated app.

What do you dislike about Gist?

Very little. Gist meets our needs very closely.

We needed a unified 360 degree customer contact system. From web site chat, to in app messaging, and help ticketing -- we need a single solution that manages our customer contact and onboarding.

I like that Gist is an all-in-one solution that can help you provide the best customer experience while leveraging new tools such as Bots, calendar integration, knowledge base, chat, and more.

The Gist team is pretty fast resolving issues for their customers. I was able to get replies within seconds and resolution within minutes. I can't complain but to say that Gist team is on top of their game when it comes to customer support.

We definitely are improving our customer support interactions. We are having more human connections and at the same time, it gives us an advantage against our competitors. The integration of customer support tools, marketing, and sales is essential for our daily routine.

"I use gist every day and it's simple to learn and intuitive."
What do you like best about Gist?

The interface is easy to understand and makes the process of using it very simple. I feel like using Gist on a day-to-day basis makes things simpler for us in order to answer our client's questions and keep in touch with them. I think it makes communication smooth, I enjoy the email notifications and so many other features that alert us or our clients. I recently enjoyed their revamp on the snooze system, it makes everything much simpler to keep track of.

What do you dislike about Gist?

Sometimes the app can be slow or doesn't load altogether. This often happens where there is a big demand (such as Christmas sales or Black Friday). This should be addressed! I also have trouble sometimes snoozing chats or closing them and it can be very troublesome sometimes. The number of chats opened doesn't go down and there is a big difficulty in synchronizing this. Also, I dislike the fact that files and images are sent as separate files, especially when I need them attached to the message to get ideas clear to the clients.

What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?

Talking and offering advice to our clients is very easy. 😊 Communication is made easy through attaching files, images, adding gifs and much more. I also enjoy being able to see a lot of details regarding our customers' information (email, user code, browser, computer system etc.)

What do you like best about Gist?

Like ancient Greek mythology god Zeus, Gist is for small business owners like us, i am associated with gist when it was called converfox, U am super happy with this awesome tool since than. I am hoping to get constantly surprised and amazed in future with the features they are coming up with one by one at speed of a bullet.

Earlier the mobile app lagging, but now its rectified

Streamlined interface with a lot of features that work together. Super simple to tag and untag contacts and visitors, send follow up emails, and re-engaged past customers with minimal time and effort.

What do you dislike about Gist?

Not much to dislike, the platform has been constantly improving over the past few years and I've been very impressed with what the Gist team has pulled off - looking forward to seeing more as they continue to develop.

I've been able to follow up after people try trial versions of our software to offer incentives to purchase, follow up on abandoned carts, and segment users for email outreach based on their interests (all of which results in higher ROIs).

All-in-one suite is fantastic. Idon't have to have different platforms (Email, Live chat,) to do what I need. The price is affordable as well.

There is nothing I dislike about Gist platform.

With Gist I don't have to have a pltform to collect emails and another platform to answer Live Chat and another for Social Media connections with my website visitors. Gist combines it all and does it affordably.
