With GoDaddy, it’s easier to establish your name online and establish your presence. It is one of the most trusted domain providers with tools that include domain name search, domain transfer, privacy protection, WHOIS database search, domain auction, domain name value appraisal, domain backorders, and domain investing.

Godaddy was mine first to purchase domains and host websites, and it haven't disappointed me. It is a great place to start your online journey. It is very easy to setup and place order. Their customer support is awesome and provides quick and effective resolution of your query. you can get SSL certificates too. Their control panel is quite intiutive and setting which are there are effecient to use.
The main con of this site is its cost, it is far more costlier than hostgator, and bluehost.Their online website builder tool is also not very effective and easy to use. you can face many downtime on their shared webhosting plans.
We have used this site to purchase different domains and the experience was too easy and quick. We have also used their web hosting plan to host our website. Their plans are not very cheap but above average industry rate.
Its easy to set up a website using godaddy
its not easy to get an answer from them but mostly easy to use
Setting up a website and registering and keeping the site registered for long term is beneficial
Simple and easy to use website, with all the basic tools
Nothing to report I dislike. I'd mention that the extra clicks to get to the login page are redundant.
Managing some website domains
We've been using GoDaddy to host our site for 8+ years - no issues and great customer support
Hard to say as they offer most of what you'd expect from a hosting site.
Webhosting and domain registration. Easy to use and competitive price
My favorite feature of GoDaddy Domains is how easy they make it to connect to your eCommerce platform. We acquired a couple domains from GoDaddy for a new business line we were launching along with a new eCommerce platform. Acquiring the domains and connecting them to our eCommerce platform could not have been easier. They had an automatic tool to complete it and we did not have to mess with any of the manual settings ourselves.
The pricing they offer is very competitive especially the initial acquisition, but the auto-renew doesn't keep the discounts. GoDaddy also charges an extra monthly fee to keep domain owner information private. It's understandable though and a worth the extra cost.
We are using GoDaddy Domains to acquire all our domains as we have not had any issues with them and enjoy the service they provide. GoDaddy makes is very simple to use and they communicate well throughout the process about renewing. It's really a set it and forget it type service that requires very little effort on our part.
It is very easy to use and inexpensive. 1st year is very cheap. Cost does go up after that.
There is not anything to dislike other than the cost going up after the 1st year.
Got a good domain to start my new business.
GoDaddy makes web hosting simple. I've never had any issues with the service, and customer support has always been very helpful.
The only thing that I can think of that I dislike is that the process for transferring ownership to a new owner, it is tedious and requires too many steps.
GoDaddy provides and incredibly simplified and cost effective way to host a domain. These are both extremely beneficial for a web design company.
As everyone already knows for sure, GoDaddy has the lowest prices almost always. I registered my Economy web hosting through an affiliate link and it only cost me $ 1 / month the first year. You will not find anything like that for the price and the features it has. Godaddy uses "cPanel" - in other words, his own customized version of cPanel. If it's your first time staying, I do not think you care because you'll get used to it very quickly. I tried the standard cPanel but I liked the GoDaddy version much more. It looks more organized and it is easier to find things.
Support - this is what GoDaddy fails. Their representatives do not seem to know much about lodging. As a beginner, I learned most, if not all, of hosting, WP, SQL databases, etc. from Google or YouTube.
Holding domain names and providing DNS for each of them.
Go Daddy had a very user-friendly interface.
I found it difficult to add more than one image to my email signature.
My office uses Go Daddy as our primary email application. It has provided a user-friendly email service.
Ease of use. I was able to go in, use their Website Tonight platform and make a website in hours. It is simple enough to allow new users to log in and easily update the site. There are intuitive plug ins like forms, gallery widgets, etc. The preview allows you to see your design in web and mobile format as well as hide certain items from mobile.
The designs seem dated for the most part. It doesn't market or brand as strong as Wix.com. There is often a push to upgrade or purchase add ons.
Brand awareness, conference application form, website redirect, newsletter sign up
There support is awesome. They quickly answer their support calls by phone and they are very knowledgeable. There solutions work!.
Nothing really to dislike. Great company.
I use them for my domain registrations, my business email, and to host one of my customer's WordPress websites.
The customer support is outstanding and every time I speak with an agent, they are polite, use great english, and truly know what they are doing. All of the products are very easy to use and it is very straight forward to purchase domains and manage everything to do with them.
The hosting is not a very good alternative to regular hosting options. I personally do not like how the emails are set up but they do work well and some of our clients really appreciate getting the combination of domain and hosting at the same location.
We purchase all our domains through GoDaddy which are cost effective especially when on the discount club. We receive the lowest prices on new domains, transfers, and renewals BUT that is because we have paid for the Domain Discount Club.
I like the ability to speak to a human that can help me with whichever I need help with.
The pricing on some packages are a little pricey.
Buying domains, hosting email services, etc.
Ubiquitous website for website creation. It's great to manage the domain purchase and allows for private domain registration which is helpful. It's one easy tool to manage your webiste.
Wish it was less expensive, but for what it offers it's alright.
Website management.
I like that I am able to create domains for my website that will better attract people to my site.
I dislike the checkout process. I know the purpose of it is to upsell but it's a little annoying when you know exactly what you want and that you don't want to buy anything else. The trial that they offer can be a bit confusing as well because I thought my domain was expiring but it was just the trial that was expiring.
The main benefits of this are being able to customize your site's domain name and have your site hosted.
It is so easy to use! I am able to find whatever I need in one dashboard
Some of the pricing is a little expensive, but pretty close to market standard. I also don't like that it renews earlier than expected. Sometimes I may be done with a product, but it renews early.
I register domains and host websites and email with Godaddy. The cpanel is easy to use and familiar. There are also many features and customer service is fantastic.
I have tried many other domain registrars out there, but GoDaddy continues to be the best to easily manage my domain names. I trust the brand.
I hate their upsells, though they are not as bad as before. However, even now when I am renewing a domain, I'm still hit with many "opportunities" to add this or that feature. However, I realize they cater largely to new customers who may need that guidance. I also wish they would not have done away with domain coupons.
I have registered domains with them for many, many years. My domains remain safely registered, and I am send out timely reminders when the domains come due for renewal.
All the functionality that comes with the product.
It is a little expensive. I would like it to be cheaper
I appreciate having a more formal email address.
I like that GoDaddy makes everything really simple. Whether you're a technology whiz, or a newbie trying to launch your first domain, it's very easy to search to see if your top pick is available, and they do a good job of explaining what the additions are --- as well as how much they would cost to add to your cart before checkout.
I wish that your information was automatically private. Instead, you have to click a box to make sure your information is unavailable to the public. I didn't notice that the first time and my information was public for about 3 hours. But that's all it took to get my phone number and email on all kinds of sales lists.
It solved my need to get a domain up and running --- sooner rather than later. I needed to launch before I thought I would, and it took a few hours to go from nothing to having a full-blown site ready to go. It really couldn't have been easier, which is great. The last thing you want to worry about when you're running a business is whether or not you have issues with your server. The fewer things like that I have to worry about, the more I can focus on pouring into my clients.
Easy to get set up with. Annual reminders to renew your webhosting, email server, good stuff!
Interface with website data could be a little easier to use, but then again I'm not a computer wizard and don't really know if other website providers are more complicated. So it's probably all good.
Domain registration, Website hosting, email hosting,
I've been working with Godaddy for over 10 years now and have been happy with their prices, services, and support. I'm a reseller for them and refer most of my clients to their services. I use CPanel, Managed WordPress, SSL, domain services, and more. It's great that I can call them 24x7 and I've talked to many great people on their support staff. Their system is fairly simple to use once you're familiar with it.
Sometimes response times could be better with their support, but it depends on the time of day and time of year. Some costs I think could still be a bit cheaper. There are a few other services I wish they offered with their reseller accounts. Speed should be much faster on their hosting accounts. I find page load speeds slower than they should be.
I use the Godaddy platform to provide my web clients with a secure, reasonable cost hosting, domain, and SSL solutions. These solutions include backups, restore, and account support.
Intuitive user interface to manage domains and managed-hosting. Direct 24/7 support.
No access to the file structure or settings in managed hosting. This made troubleshooting difficult.
Quick domain registration and managed hosting solution to provide multiple users access to administer the website
Go Daddy has a complete line of products and services to handle all of your web needs. You can obtain domain registration and web hosting and so much more to handle your internet needs. I found it easy to transfer an owned domain from another hosting service and get quick and detailed support. Although I am currently doing my own web design, I know that GoDaddy has many web building programs, tools and design services if I find that I have the need and or wish to expand. They will do a custom logo and will set up a complete web store or eCommerce site for you and provide marketing help. GoDaddy will also help you to purchase or sell a specific domain name. They also offer cash parking if you have a domain which you are currently not using. You can obtain a dedicated IP, a dedicated or private server and they offer compete website security and certifications. They also monitor your site for outside hacking and intrusions. I was very happy when they alerted me of a potential problem with one of my sites. Their list of products and services goes on and on and you can always be assured of getting 24/7 professional support.
their email service needs some improvement, especially on a smart phone. I often get delays and freezes and need to wait before I can continue with sending and receiving. This is especially prevalent when out of the country.
GoDaddy provides me with quality, fast, reliable and secure web hosting. Whenever I need to add, delete or move domains, they are there to assist and give advice. I greatly appreciate that and have never been let down by them as I have been by other hosting services.
I like the simplicity of settings up a website utilizing their templates.
I dislike the jump in price after introductory rate.
I am able to have an online presence. It helps me to track how often people visit my website.
There is 24 hour technical support, guaranteed satisfaction, integrates well with WordPress and offers a money back guarantee. It offers a cheap service for hosting.
Some representatives are not very helpful so their customer service while available 24/7 isn't always great. Timing and response is not always good.
Provided all hosting needs, 24/7 support, cost efficient and great resources. Online marketing tools allow our visitors to have a user-friendly and interactive experience.
GoDaddy is open 24/7, I can call them at 3am in the morning if I get stuck and have a question and people are there to answer. The tech support is knowledgeable and helpful. Once I accidentally knocked my site down (my fault), and called them late at night and they where able to get it back up quick.
They do suck you in with 99 cent domain registration. Then you find out at renewal time it is considerably more and if you have multiple domains they are charged at the higher rate as well.
Built a web presence, server is very stable. I do not think we have ever had down time. We are able to able to connect with our customers and potential customers easy and lowers the cost of customer acquisition
The simplicity of setting up your domain name and / or hosting for you website. I have also been in contact with customer support a few times, which has always been a pleasant and successful experience. I have attempted to use other domain and hosting services, but haven't found any other that comes to par with GoDaddy's ease of use and supreme customer support.
Theres not really anything that I dislike! Perhaps pricing for hosting could be a bit cheaper. There are many other services out there that offer cheaper hosting subscriptions, but I think what you're paying for with GoDaddy is worth it, with the quality it offers.
GoDaddy offers easy to set up domains and hosting for our websites.
The prices are reasonable and the products are pretty easy to setup and use in my opinion.
When you have to contact technical support it's usually a nightmare. Long wait times and sub-par support.
I use them for my hosting, servers and phone numbers. They actually introduced a new 1-800 smart line program. It let's the customers choose from a list of 800, 866 and other numbers for their business.
The ease of creating a website with no experience was very satisfying.
The website builder is very inexpensive the 1st year but the fee's increase in the 2nd year.
The website allows my business to seen on the internet. I received some new business from people that searched for my business online.
