It's very easy to setup a webinar and share a link so that maximum invite can be sent and it's very simple to join webinar by using that link.
GoTo Webinar is intuitive and easy to create webinars with. We can create events and webinars from the GoTo Webinar dashboard on the web browser, where we can invite users via email. We can schedule the webinars to automatically start at a later date whether it's one-time or recurring. It's easy to implement as it carries over profiles and emails from anyone who's ever used GoToMeeting previously before it was upgraded to GoTo and its products. To ensure a seamless flow of webinars, the application has settings to test your mic and webcam within the dashboard. The webinars are excellent and allow communication across any device or region. You can participate in them using your computer audio or phone call. Webinars make collaborating easier as we can show our screen to all the attendees. You can give keyboard and mouse access to any attendee while showing the screen for any work that requires a collaborative effort. You can show presentations easily and if it's group work, you can change the presenter and give someone else the control to move slides and use interactive features. The interactive features include creating polls and questions with text boxes where the users can leave their answers, which is excellent for surveying and receiving feedback. We can record our webinars with up to 6GB of size by default, but you can increase the limit from the settings if your device has more storage space as GoTo save all the recordings on the computer. The best part about GoTo Webinar is that you can get full analytics for your webinars, showcasing the number of registrants and attendees and the attendance rate for each user. You can have the data exported into a spreadsheet for keeping records of your webinars. GoTo Webinars has a video library where you can upload your recordings or any videos for viewing on the browser or sharing. You can drag and drop your file from your computer or upload them from your cloud drives such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, and Box. Similarly, file transfer can also be done through these mediums. Overall, GoTo Webinar is excellent for connecting with a large audience and supporting up to 100 people. Your webinars can be live or pre-recorded, where users can just join and view the session and leave post-session interactions through polls and feedback forms.
For first-time users, setting up a webinar can be complicated. Unlike GoTo Meeting, there's no direct way to download the GoTo Webinar desktop application. You'll have to create and start a webinar from your browser and only then will it prompt you to install and open the application. This process was a little confusing for us at first because there was no explanation for this anywhere and we had to search on Google to find the solution. The interface is also difficult to get used to at first because all the features and settings are bundled up together without much room for navigation. It also has no web browser support, so downloading the application is a must.
We've been using it for webinars since the pandemic started and it allows seamless connections with people around the world, many of whom are clients from Europe and Southeast Asia. For training and collaborating, GoTo Webinars has been perfect, providing an excellent platform to share files, show screens, show presentations, and generate reports based on attendance and interactions. Although implementation could've been a little easier, it's been pretty easy to use since then and setting up live events or webinars is pretty straightforward. We can tick the option to make it recurring so that it automatically does the work of alerting the users for each upcoming webinar.
I like that it's easy to set up and that it allows us to work with large groups while limiting what they can see.
Nothing I can think of. We switched to a new product for day to day use and I do miss the bells and whistles of GoToWebinar.
We often need to communicate information with large groups and our customer doesn't want the attendees to be able to interact and GoTo helps us accomplish that. It's also very easy to use and add things like In Webinar polls and surveys.

Several times during our LIVE webinar the webcam function has been down. We had to continue the scheduled program without video function. There are many steps to setting up a webinar. It would be nice to have it streamlined some.

Most of the users are familiar with this app and have it on their devices. It's a very user-friendly solution with reliable technology for a presenter and participants, so it's easy to run any webinars, training, meetings.
It seems there are no downloads and presentation uploads.

The software works very well - both in the browser and as a download. We generally prefer the download version to invite our customers to webinars with video conferencing. Using a third party software we can make additional restrictions and tests.
Some translations are poor or even non-existent, we hope that this will change in the future, otherwise there may be problems getting into the webinar.
Now that we offer many courses exclusively online and these are important participations with our representatives and customers for further training, we use this software. The video transmission works perfectly, even with many participants there are no problems.

Major problem with gotowebinar is it's Frequent server issues which results in delay and another major problem is poor customer support. Being a cheap alternative, You can't expect very much in customer support.
Dut to covid pandemic, our major problem was related to conduct monthly sales meetings, learnings sessions, trainings etc. which we have started conducting using goto webinar. Most of time it serves the purpose but as I have already mentioned being a cheap alternative, don't expect much of customer support and services from it. If you are looking for a premium alternative, go with many popular and reputed brands available in the market with price.
It has an easy to use interface to set-up webinars and customize the branding. You can easily edit and publish webinar recordings. The live polling feature is awesome! You also have the ability to attach handouts to the webinar, which we have found very helpful.
GoToWebinar does not have the capability for attendees to use the chat function. Only panelists and organizers can use the chat. Additionally, you can only send questions to one panelist.
It has allowed our organization to produce more high-quality webinars for our members during this time when face-to-face meetings are not an option. It is an easy software for our panelists to learn and we have received great feedback from them.
It was helpful because GoToWebinar allowed me to have access to a training that I wouldn’t have been able to attend during the quarantine.

The user interface is very intuitive and well organized. There was little to no learning required when switching back and forth from GotoMeeting and GoToWebinar for most of the users in the company. The application is also fully featured and well suited for conferences, webinars and meetings with larger number of viewers. The built in ability to interface directly with the viewers during a webinar is one of the best features of GoToWebinar. Compared to alternatives available, GoToWebinar is by far the best option for its intended purpose.
There is little to dislike about GoToWebinar for what its main purpose is. Perhaps including a option for premium users to get in touch with technical support instantly would be much appreciated. During a middle of a webinar if there is a technical problem that needs to be addressed, there is little to no option available to the user to get support immediately without terminating the remaining event and re-scheduling at a later time and date.
Some of the conferences and roundtables have been moved to GoToWebinar during the COVID-19 pandemic. It has allowed some of the planned activities to continue with minor changes rather than completely cancelling them. Many of the conferences that were originally planned have also moved to digital events where GoToWebinar was the primary application used to do so. The move to digital events was relatively seamless and did not cause much disruption in terms of planned activities, seminars and round table discussions.
I liked the number of options that you have in the tool so you can have a very professional meeting sharing screen, muting the guests, sharing your webcam, files, and videos with other guests.
I think the UX design could be improved. I don't like the text that appears down in the image of the webcam, it doesn't have a good format.
Create a webinar with many speakers in different remote sites. We can be organized easily, and create a webinar with good quality. Also we can have a lot of attendees.
How well numerous attendees are maintained - there are numerous ways to track and respond to different participants questions and comments, as well as ways of monitoring levels of engagement.
There doesn't seem to be an easy way of modulating who all can speak at once, so trying to toggle "Mutes" between multiple participants can be as difficult as trying to understand just who said what without any "Mute" capabilities
We're solving lots of issues that really take a committee to make progress on. It enables us to bring together the directors, managers and regular product users from multiple departments, at multiple different agencies and really bridge the gaps in understanding of what needs to be addressed by our program and what needs to be addressed with either changes in training or procedures. We're better able to obtain feedback and consensus and have saved countless hours doing it all together, in real time, rather than trying to derive the same yields from endless back and forth via email.
GoToWebinar is a fantastic large scale meeting solution tool that my organization uses to host and attend meetings. Overall, I have been extremely impressed by the stability and quality of the platform for large events. I work in an organization that operates across four continents and GoToWebinar has made meeting together and collaborating on projects easier. Additionally, the platform is fairly easy to use and has been consistent in terms of it's overall performance on our Network. The ability to share and add to calendars works well and integrates with our mailing and calendar systems nicely. The plugins and API's do well to share across a variety of other platforms that we use daily. Overall, I have really enjoyed the process of hosting and attending meetings on the platform.
GoToWebinar is not as customizable as other platforms on the market. I have noticed that landing pages for the platform are relatively bare bones compared to the other competitors in the digital meeting space. Additionally, I would recommend any IT team to review network requirements to ensure that everyone has access if they are on a restricted network.
I work for a large content and production organization that has 24/7 operation around the world. GoToWebinar has made it easy to record and replay webinars and meetings for our entire organization to access when they are most available. Overall, it has helped us learn and grow while keeping up with our fast paced business environment. Overall, I highly recommend this service!
GoToWebinar is a valuable tool for just a massive crowd to manage and give a lecture. The function is simple and straightforward. That's not much until you get an understanding of the different features it includes. Throughout our lectures we will administer surveys that are good for public engagement and interactivity. GoToWebinar normally has a good audio and video output. I like that, directly after it is over, we may share a link to our voice.
While I like GoToWebinar's terms of economics value, I think the price is higher than a few similar alternatives. Additional respondents would be important to allow. Internet registration documents can be difficult to design for a particular look. GoToWebinar has somewhat limited layout capability. While this is not a common event, enrollees are not able to sign for any obvious purpose at times.
We were happy to use GoToWebinar to download lectures after they were over and to make them available for replay. In a range of marketer goods, we can link lectures like forums, social media, electronic communications and print media. GoToWebinar was great for conducting internal conferences as well, and we used it as a forum for corporate media and tutorials. It is also an effective tool for conducting sessions and allows participants in real time to engage from different physical locations.
