I bought the 3 years hosting plan and they were very cheap and support staff was also excellent compared to other provider.

Things worked well hence till no now issues.

Hosted a website, load time was good with good amount of concurrent connections.

I've had some customers with virus issues on a customer site and the support team was able to resolve it smoothly. The service is via chat or ticket and it works very well.

Older contracts usually do not have newer versions of PHP and, in this case, we need to request migration of customer services.

When we have a VPS, we receive a complete WHM to manage the operation, making it much easier to control customers within the VPS. Including importing customers from other hosting companies.

Basic cPanel access and relatively easy interface to manage websites. They had a great intro price for a three year contract. We ran a few low level traffic sites on this server and never had any issues with downage.

They are owned by the same company who owns Bluehost who has had more issues over the years. They always offer a low intro pricepoint and then the price jumps considerably after renewal.

We wanted to host websites ourselves in stead of through a middleman. It has saved us a lot of money but takes more time to set up initially and check for health and updates.

There are multiple types of hostings available on Hostgator that can support whether you are a small business owner or a professional blogger. Although I don't recommend them for big companies, they should go towards AWS or Azure! There is live chat support in HostGator so if you are ever stuck on any problem you can contact them right away and they are very responsive.

Hostgator is on a bit expensive side in the pricing list. Normal shared hosting is fine, but their cloud hosting prices are just too high for a starter, and there is no plan for starters. Also, their prices change when you renew the hosting. They will offer the hosting for cheap when you are first purchasing but when you have to renew it you'll have to pay the premium.

I just used Hostgator to host my website as it was a popular choice and its advertising is done in a lot of places but there are a lot of better alternatives than it.

The price and customer service. You can host multiple websites depending on which package you go for. It's extremely useful when you have a lot of low traffic domains.

Speed is not exactly lightning fast however the low price paid should be noted. I would say it's more than acceptable considering how much value the various packages offer overall.

Low cost hosting for multiple small websites. I can put them all here and manage them easily within the control panel. I can easily make quick edits, create email accounts etc.
