Seeing our efforts measured from emails to landing pages and social media posts. Seeing tracking on our basic links that we use for social posts is INSANELY helpful!
Some things are a little difficult to navigate, but tutorials and user support make it easy to find what we need to find.
We can reach our entire customer base with a series of emails targeted for each market segment. Not only that, but we can capture new leads while we're out there in the real world with forms and landing pages through Hubspot. We can identify which of our efforts are driving the most traffic and converting the most potential customers with our metrics, and alter our tactics based on those numbers. Hubspot makes the task of tracking our efforts and our users exciting and insightful rather than a laborious task no one looks forward to.
My experience with HubSpot is mostly within the Marketing hub. HubSpot is that rare beast, which is a tool that is very easy to pick up and learn, but is incredibly deep and offers a surprising number of customisation options. Designing emails or landing pages, for example, can be done via a simple drag-and-drop builder, or if you're a developer, you can dive straight into the excellent Design Manager and hand-code things yourself. The automation options are likewise very easy to set up, but will allow you to build very complicated workflows to automate many aspects of your customer journeys. Support is excellent - available via email, phone and live chat. The few times I've experienced little bugs or have needed advice on something I've been able to speak to someone knowledgable within a minute or two. From a UX perspective, HubSpot is a long way ahead of other tools - I'm always happier working in HubSpot than in competitors MAPs.
From a user experience, there is very little I dislike about HubSpot. The pricing models seem to change from time-to-time, and it is more expensive now than it has been in the past - but this also reflects an expanded offering. For a new business starting out the Starter, Basic and even Professional packages really offer excellent value for money.
I've run everything from simple nurture campaigns, through to hosting entire content hubs and running year-long nurture streams via HubSpot. Our clients have realised savings on using one tool, instead of a mish-mash of tools, as well as the reporting and security benefits of having everything in one platform. It's easy to see what's working and what isn't through the detailed reporting and make corrections to continually optimise campaigns.
I love the closed-loop analytics and data capture opportunities, when hosting your website, landing pages or blog within HubSpot alongside your CRM. HubSpot is really easy to use, and there is great support for new users. If you want to stretch yourself, there's the HubSpot Academy where you can learn more.
There's not much to dislike. HubSpot's UX is easy to to follow, and the design of the platform is great. It's easy to lear with a wealth of training for new users. In the early days, using HubSpot as a CMS for your website was simplistic, but there has been a lot of great work in this area, and this now rivals any competitor and is thoroughly recommended.
As a freelance developer, I'm helping customers move their websites onto HubSpot to benefit from the closed-loop reporting. The new-style modules give great opportunities to mix-and-match to give a range of nicely designed web or landing pages, and are easy to use. The benefits of having HubSpot manage your website, it's hosting, the SSL, the CDN - everything! - makes life so much easier, and gets you up-and-running faster. This applies to both new and experienced users.
From its workflows and automation to the reporting and analytics tools, Hubspot provides users with the tools they need to market to prospects as well as the insights necessary to maintaining healthy customer relationships. The platform is easy to use, and there is a vast knowledge base as well as a comprehensive resource library that users can access as needed. Additionally, the customer success managers I've interacted with have all been very responsive and supportive. The training classes I've attended were very beneficial and informative as well, and last year's INBOUND conference was excellent. My experiences with Hubspot have been great!
In my opinion, there really aren't any downsides to using Hubspot. In all the time I've used the software, we've only ever encountered glitches a few times, and those are inherent with any software platform. Hubspot has always been excellent about communicating with customers and resolving issues quickly.
With Hubspot, we've been able to take a much more strategic approach to marketing. The platform enables us to quantify the results of our initiatives and ensure marketing attribution. As a brand and content marketer, Hubspot has enabled me to accurately track and measure engagement and the effectiveness of the content and campaigns for which I'm responsible. I've recently switched jobs and my new employer is newer to Hubspot, so we're still in the process of setting everything up; however, we will be utilizing the platform company wide versus solely by marketing (as at my former employer). I'm excited for the difference this will make for our entire organization.
Overall, I love using HubSpot to get my marketing tasks done every day. There is always more than one way to solve a problem. It's great how my abilities with the tool have grown as the company I work for grows as well.
Sometimes, I run into certain obstacles that feel like they should be possible in HubSpot, but they aren't. One example would be CC'ing people on emails sent via workflows. I also find going back and forth between the landing page builder and design tools to be a clunky way to create a good looking landing page.
We use HubSpot for so much on our team. From web content creation and management to social and email marketing, it's really nice having a place that I can get so much done in without having to use many different tools. HubSpot makes things like email customization much easier than other platforms I have worked with.
the ease of use, is very intuitive, the availability of tools and material, the possibility to see changes and adjustments in real-time, the metrics of marketing campaigns.
In some sections, when making modifications, the module is not where it supposed and you have to look for elsewhere.
The site administration, the ease administration. on the benefits, is that is very universal and common, the speed to make any adjustment, the possibility to undo any changes made it by mistake.
I have always been a fan of HubSpot's interface and the company as a whole. Very user friendly even it comes to potentially messy areas like the marketing automation workflows and managing folders and folders of content.
There are a lot of reports that have been recommended in the HubSpot Community (a GREAT resource) that seemed to be continually deprioritized. The HS staff, however, is often very helpful in identifying a workaround. Also, the Ads section could be great improved. It's unclear if HubSpot pushes conversion data back to the primary ad partner so managing most ad activity in HubSpot is difficult. The retargeting options are fairly limited.
- Marketing and Sales Alignment: We have been able to consistently and automatically tag high quality leads and funnel them to to the proper marketing channels and reps - Content Marketing & Planning: The SEO function is great and our pillar content strategy aligns exactly with how HubSpot has build much of their content features - Marketing & Sales Analytics: The pre-made reports are really helpful to only quickly set up dashboards, but it helps our team think about the functions as a singular unit and be more successful. The ability to create reports across more than one record is also very helpful especially for people like myself that want to identify the tiny bits of data that can make a big difference.
HupSpot keeps all of our contacts, customers, and prospects organized, and makes it SO easy to publish blog posts and website pages, and track the analytics for each. Thanks to using HubSpot's Pillar Page feature (which is amazing!), I was able to publish a blog, create backlinks, and get it to the first page at the number 6 search result in just one week. HubSpot is user-friendly, offers useful tips, and makes publishing everything a breeze. It also integrates directly with Salesforce, so we can update information in our CRM as soon as it is entered into HubSpot -- like a new contact visiting our site or a current contact visiting a page on our site for more information.
My only dislike is that I didn't start using HubSpot until now. It's excellent. There are so many jobs where I could have used this tool before. I would love to utilize the HubSpot conversational marketing chat feature, HubBot, but unfortunately it requires an extra cost to have the Bot information be sent directly to a rep for more information. So instead it would just be a bot that tells people someone will reach out to them soon -- not exactly helpful when someone is on our site and interested enough to interact with the chatbot.
Thanks to creating a HubSpot pillar page for one of my blogs, and creating links to and from that blog to the other blogs that made up that pillar page, I had the best results I've ever seen. I published the blog and in just one week, it got to the first page of the Google search results, landing at #6 out of over 735,000 results. VERY impressed! I'm also certified in HubSpot Content Marketing and that was a fabulous course and also beneficial in my current job, as it taught me about the HubSpot pillar pages, which led me to getting to that first page of the Google search results. A boon all around. We use HubSpot to keep on top of our contacts and alert sales reps quickly and automatically when new prospects that fall into their state territory visit our site.
HubSpot allows me to manage all our digital marketing elements from our website to automated emails to CRM and social. It includes so many helpful and intuitive tools like the analytics and reporting tab which make reporting back on campaigns a breeze.
The issue I have is with the web page creator which for a non-technical person is a little clunky to use. I have had to outsource development of new pages to a third party whereas in an ideal world, it would be better to do in-house.
Automated emails and landing pages allowing for inbound marketing to take place. Before this, we didn't have a dedicated digital lead generation mechanism in place.
The platform is extremely user-friendly. It's easy to use and easy to learn. Hubspot makes it easy to manage campaigns and the assets that comprise those campaigns, from social to landing pages, to blogs. Hubspot also makes it extremely easy to manage contacts. Segmenting them into active/static lists, organzing them by various properties, and even allowing for multiple kinds of contact upload is great. Also, Hubspot integrates well with our third-party reporting software.
The reporting is not as comprehensive as is best for large agencies with many clients. I also do not like that templates cannot be shared across accounts.
Our agency is able to see where our leads are coming from and better manage the sales process. We are also taking advantage of social media and email marketing automation, which not only reduces time spent on that kind of work, but also allows for us to report on individual campaigns and improve future tactics.
I use HubSpot for everything from deal tracking to landing pages to ads analysis and everything in between. It empowers users with an easy-to-understand interface and excellent support resources.
The cost can be prohibitive at times, but the HubSpot team does their best to help you find a solution that fits your resources.
The integration of everything saves so much time. List making is a breeze so you can analyze audiences large and small.
Hubspot lets me easily me easily create wholesome content and move my leads through the funnel automagically. Their support is always there to help out.
Not entirely user friendly in certain cases - no drag&drop option for landing pages for example.
Reporting made easy, email marketing automation saves a lot of time
It taught me the basics of content marketing as well as how to use the great tools!
Nothing, they keep adding more and more tools and features!
I am one-person marketing department for a small but growing non-profit. Hubspot makes it possible for me to maintain a pretty robust marketing schedule, and keeps me up to speed on best practices and current marketing trends.
The automation and customization aspects of workflows
The formatting of content is somewhat elementary.
Targeting our market through tailored messaging that is automatically sent through automation.
Hubspot does everything a marketer needs. Social, email, websites, blogs... the list goes on. It's all interconnected so perfect for a small company.
It's hard to connect offline information. For example, if I get leads at an event, it's hard to reflect the fact that they came from an event when I upload them.
I'm doing all my marketing in one place and don't have to sign into loads of platforms to get my work done. The automation is pretty good so I can speed up my work.
Their marketing workflows (automation) really is a game changer. It's really easy to create blogs and landing pages. Social Media is easy to monitor and publish.
I can't think of anything that I dislike
Landing page creation. Marketing Automation. Blog creation SEO
I love the interface and ease of use. Everything is intuitive within the system and if not, I know the support team is there on hand to assist. I have been very impressed by the culture and the people who work for HubSpot. Every person I have interacted with has been helpful, positive and a great resource.
Honestly, there is nothing I dislike. This is my first time working in a CMS and I have had a great experience.
-Ability to manage all marketing functions within one tool -Ability to customize the system to meet our needs -Ability to host and manage our website
I love the all in one marketing and sales capability. It's seamless using to link our inbound marketing strategy to our sales pipeline and then delivery. Once set up and website integrated it really easy to align landing pages, blogs, social media and email campaigns. The reporting is great too so you can see what is working and what isn't.
It's a bit overwhelming at the start and we need an integration agency to help us initially but once the set up and training is done it becomes easier.
The key for us is automation and making it easy for our team to build our brand, get our thought leadership out there and ultimately drive sales. We've had a 200% increase in website traffic and 100% increase in new contacts from inbound traffic. This has seen our revenue jump 27% LfL, so great results - and we have only just started!
The analytics and how you can track everything you do on Hubspot. It's my first time using this tool, and I've been learning step by step all the things you can do with it and it amazes me everytime. The way you can measure everything helps a lot to see if you're going in the right direction. Also it's great how you can build beautiful emails very easy with templates very easy to use.
One thing I disliked about hubspot is that I saw websites kind of limiting for someone who knows very little about code, and it's easy to get lost. But now we have a front-end partner who helps us with everything and shows us that really you can do anything. As I said earlier, I'm still learning how to use everything in this platform, so there isn't really something I dislike right now, haha.
Building websites, I used to think only a developer could do it but with hubspot is really easy. Also quickly changing it when you spot a problem with the conversion and how leads are seeing your page. We are a start-up and still building our marketing team, so everytime we find new ways to improve and solve things thanks to hubspot
I could stop relying on "know it all" consultants and use Hibspot to take control of my small biz.
The price is hard to justify for a three person shop but the company has been flexible when needed.
My website problems are gone. It works on a mobile and is blazing fast. No more IT crisis waiting for "some IT guy" to help me. Instead of hiring marketing help, I use HS training to teach myself. I'm able to work with Customer Success to evaluate my efforts. This year after 5 yr on platform, I doubled my sales. It's the first growth in 15 years.
