The customized reports makes it easy to track social, email, web and ROI in one place.
If you don’t have Salesforce as a CRM, don’t bother. The software is not easily adaptable and took us months to configure.
Sales went up. The multiple automation and customized emails we were able to send took us to the next level.
The best thing about Hubspot is their support team. If you have any questions they are there ready to help in an instant. You can also choose which level of access team members get which means you don't have to worry about people messing up what you had set as an admin.
I did not find any downsides to using Hubspot marketing.
We are solving generating blog posts to our websites, sending out marketing emails, managing marketing lists. It has been so easy to generate marking lists and manage them with Hubspot.
Great tool to track contacts and life cycle
There isn't much I dislike. The platform is super clean and user friendly.
It's easy to track customers and send email campaigns. Great for capturing emails from website.
By using a well-known and trustworthy program such as HubSpot, you are sure to be recognized later in life if you have experience using it. This is something that my supervisor is always reminding me of when I am working on the hotspot Academy I’m getting yet another certificate. I have to admit he’s right, I am seeing a lot of job postings asking for HubSpot certificates, and I can completely understand why so many companies decide to use this specific software over so many others out there because not only does it allow for simple content management, it also allows for great contact management, And there is almost no third-party vendor that doesn’t integrate with hot Spot which is by far my favorite part. Bonus points for their customer service which is beyond.
Some parts of a hotspot is not ass customizable or cannot be edited to my liking. For example when editing emails there’s only so much you can do in terms of customization, and the only solutions for this are too much work and take to long time. Also HubSpot does come with some difficult ways of doing things in terms of customer lists and updated contact information. I have yet to experience any huge headaches with it crashing but I do notice that around the time of an update Some parts of a hotspot is not ass customizable or cannot be edited to my liking. We use hotspot for our marketing team in house, we also use it for our customer relations management, and we have found that it is a great and holistic program for the entire company to work together and have a perfect workflow in terms of who does what. Assigning, jogging, or contacting someone else in the company is super easy and everything is always noted and you can go back and see what was done.
Here are some of my favorite aspects of using hubspot: 1) whether you are a professional marketer or just starting out doing your own marketing - you will find hubspot useful and engaging to use. If you are a marketing veteran you’ll find the powerful and important tools you need. If you are just starting out - you’ll be able to use most of its features without any additional help. 2) best.support.team. ever. I cannot say this enough. Hubspot’s customer service has never let me down and that’s pretty rare in today’s world. 3) they work with some of the biggest and best names in the industry so working with and using hubspot can be a great tool for advancing your career later. Hubspot also has their own academy where you can get certified for free and this can be a great leg up on your next job hunt. 4) their list of possible integrations is endless and you can take full advantage of the trust that is the hubspot brand when using.
There are some attributes to hubspot that doesn’t fill me with as much joy as the ones above. - even if it is a pretty simple software to get started with for a beginner, it is still a complicated system that takes some time to get used to. Especially if you are using all features of hubspot in one and are used to using different programs for each. - it is not only beginners that might find it hard to use. Thanks to hubspot’s constant drive to innovate (which is a good thing!) they’ll always Introduce new features and versions that you have to adjust to. For most this is not a problem, but I have had some team members who are not as comfortable with computers and software get frustrated when this happens.
First and foremost it solves the most important question one can have in today’s world: “how do I find a program that is all-inclusive, is inexpensive, and functions really well?”. The answer to that is hubspot (in case that was unclear). It’s low price combined with its experience and knowledge on how to create a practical and functional software is alpha & omega. Ps - I also love their smart fields!
We love the automation of everything! It saves us countless hours of sending emails, Instead of having to check out our Social Media everyday, we can schedule it a week or two in advance and work on more important things in the meantime!
There are a few glitches here and there within HubSpot but they're constantly updating and improving everything. There's nothing that we really 'dislike' about HubSpot - they're always able to help us solve any problems we run into!
We've been able to automate our strings of emails being sent to our inbound leads. Instead of having to schedule ourselves tasks to continually send emails, we pop them into the sequences and it takes care of it for us! Can't get easier than that really! :)
+ Email Tracking + Phone Feature + Sales Pipeline + Email Template + Smooth Interface + Productivity Performance + Wordpress Plugin + In-software Flexibility (customizable fields, apps integration etc)
Quote Feature - I would suggest adding more options for this feature
All of our sales go through with Hubspot. We managed to increase our leads capacity considerably with Hubspot.
The ability to tie into our CRM (also Hubspot), makes following the sales process with timely marketing messages easier than any other tool we've tried.
It's incredibly expensive. If you're not using it heavily, it's most likely not worth it. The site builder is also really poorly built.
We're using it to build and target custom audiences with specific offers throughout our site and in coordination with our sales team.
When I was at a Fortune 500 company that used Marketo I never thought I'd be a Hubspot user. But when I joined another company with Pardot, someone suggested I take a look at Hubspot when the contract expired. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. It's easy to use, looks professional, does everything you need an enterprise tool to do. The reporting and analytics are easy to configure and integrate seamlessly with our website and tech stack.
I wish lead scoring was a little easier to operationalize with reporting. I also think limiting the number of dashboards users can create by pricing tiers is unnecessary.
Email marketing, newsletters and lead capture and scoring. We're able to get more, higher quality emails out to our audience and better manage our lists.
My company is using HubSpot as the main tool for managing leads, deals and customer information. I find the HubSpot tools for landing pages, blogs, CTAs and forms very intuitive and easy to use. I went through the certification programs and they really helped me understand the methods of modern-day marketing and how to use automation tools efficiently. The reporting tools really let us see if what we're doing is putting us on the path to success or where we might want to adjust our messaging or CTAs. In the past, I found that HubSpot ties pretty seamlessly to Salesforce and it's easy to update and make changes as necessary.
Hubspot to Stripe Integration could be improved without a lot of extra programming Creating workflows can get tricky and confusing.
Hubspot tech support is knowledgeable and quick to respond and will stay with you until the issue is resolved. Hubspot keeps the technology up to date with current web and marketing trends. HubSpot offers a lot of online help resources including training to help you learn.
It is forward-thinking. Inbound is the future of marketing and HubSpot is a key tool for achieving this. Since early 2010 I have followed Hubspot's development. First, use in 2013 implementing in one business with two websites. From them, I have brought into other businesses with success. From implementation, the internal teams are happy and wowed by the setup, helpful teams, and flexible software. The Hubspot tool has changed but continues to look ahead to best serve marketers. Now running 4 (5&6 ver soon) websites in Hubspot with the marketing tools used across the team based in three different countries. This should be an essential tool for marketing teams.
No current issues. in 6 years I have seen minimal downtime. It is a fast-moving tool that can catch some users out but the guidance is helpful and those willing to embrace an ever-changing tool will progress.
Lead generation has increased and it easily integrates with other systems that we use. I have used this with custom-built CRMs and salesforce. All worked well in time, it just needs some planning to figure out what you actually need.
I have found HubSspot, while being very robust, to be a user friendly and intuitive platform. There are so many knowledge base articles and education available to easily learn from.
I honestly cannot think of anything at the moment that I dislike.
HubSpot is our sole marketing platform. I used it daily for social media, email marketing and lead generation; as well as marketing automation.
When using the full stack, CRM, marketing, service - everyone has full visibility into the contacts actions and behaviors. This leads to better decisions and empowers our team to take immediate action.
I wish the sequences were more intelligent, similar to a workflow. The reporting has gotten better, but it could still use more work at being intuitive.
We are discovering opportunities we never knew about and are on pace to increase new and renewable revenue.
I like the connection between my contacts, marketing and workflows. Workflows are my best friends. I like how quick the support is and how nice they are when trying to help.
Maybe a little complicated when you have a multi-lingual business. For the knowledge base and marketing emails and workflows. All my files and folders are messy and I spend a lot of time looking for things. We don't use much of the ads and social media. I don't see a benefit in doing so. Sometimes some features are lacking, but other ones come out quickly, so in the end, I almost always find a way out.
I've never used another CRM but we do all CRM, marketing and sales. So everything is linked to HS for us. Mostly it's automation that helped us the most.
The constant update for improvement - a great response from the HubSpot team. The support team (and migration teams) are always super helpful in leading us. The implementation of third-party tools is also a plus - including Canva ane Vidyard. The ability to buy assets in the market place helps us solve our problems faster while taking advantage of quality looking modules. Being able to interact with other developers and collaborate on templates to make our website design process easier.
The latest implementation of their Design Manager / Page edit - still a bit buggy (in terms of blog post / listing templates). It has been a drastic change for our team as most are not developers. Also, not being able to edit the blog post/listing templates on-the-go has been a setback when onboarding our customers - we value the ability to add modules from the marketplace to avoid re-inventing wheels.
Online presence for all of our customers and automating their processes. At Vested our team of marketing and engineer professionals produce quality work with effective results. We strategically promote your business through inbound marketing, SEO, and website development. Everything we do directly contributes to increasing awareness and revenue for your business. As engineer and marketing professionals, we specialize in creating value-based, relevant content to increase revenue. We enable our customers to define goals and growth opportunities - create and execute a strategy curated to their company.
HubSpot is very intuitive. It's always very easy to figure out how to do things in HubSpot, and if you can't, help articles are always useful and easy to find; plus support is just an email, chat or phone call away. The team is very responsive and usually go beyond what you expect. I'm always discovering neat little features that make my life easier.
Social media reporting is not robust. Twitter somehow never shows impressions. It's a bit hard to create a monthly report as information is scattered in different places. Top posts only shows 10 posts, so for all metrics you have to view posts individually, export data and do your own report. Also, HubSpot changes a lot very frequently. It can sometimes be too much.
We are finally able to communicate with our customers in a smart, easy way. HubSpot has allowed us to understand our customer data base, given we have more visibility into our customers than ever. We are also able to deliver specific messages to different types of customers due to customer segmentation and smart content. We also have a lot of insights from having our customer satisfaction surveys sent through HubSpot. Workflows and automation have made on-boarding a success. Live chat has been a wonderful sales tool that allows us to reach our customer at the right time.
One of my favorite things about HubSpot is their support team. I love that I can immediately chat with support while I'm working on a project. I don't have time to hunt down questions on a support forum or email and with 24 hours for someone to help. This is worth it's weight in gold.
I don't like how complex the tiered pricing can be. I can never remember what is included in a client's instance of Marketing Hub and constantly have to look it up. This leads to mistakes when I think something is included that isn't which then leads to many of my clients feeling like they are being nickeled and dimed to death even if it is only a perception. But as they say perception is reality.
I am solving all sorts of problems that my clients have by using HubSpot. Streamlining the process of new leads to sales through nurtures and lead scoring is probably the biggest benefit, but even setting up simple notifications that route to the right personnel has proven to increase response time and accelerate the buyer's journey. Once you combine these with other tools like chat automation, and social management to name a few, you really start to see this platform sing.
How easy it is to get things done and report on campaigns progress and sales.
I'd like to be able to do more types of A/B tests. Like not just test version A vs. B but that ONE version in different times or dates to see if I have different level of engagement
Easy to reach out to my customers in multiple languages/countries, collect call back request and trigger tasks into sales.
Hubspot is easy to use! It has a slight learning curve but once you get the hang of things its an efficient tool to communicate with your contacts. I can honestly say I use Hubspot every day during the workweek. The more I work with it the more I learn and it's exciting to keep adding new skills to my bucket! I also love its integrations with other software like SalesForce and Zoom.
I wish there was a way to A/B test emails in automated workflows.
We are providing value to our contacts through Hubspot! We have a weekly newsletter to highlight our website's blogs. We offer promotional emails to increase lead activity and drive traffic. We also integrated our salesforce to Hubspot to update our contacts and learn more about our database!
User experience Ease of use Instant livechat support A Marketing hub which includes everything you'll need
Not being able to pause campaigns then reaction them.
Having everything in one place. Instead of using 3 to 4 tool for marketing, using Hubspot you'll find everything you need in one place.
I like how intuitive the system is, its really user friendly and their help desk and help chat functions are fantastic, I have had several calls with customer services and they have always been really helpful in finding a solution for integrating Hubspot to our emails
The fact the two step authentication process asks me every time on the same device to verify via a code sent to my work mobile and even though I check the box to say do not ask me this again for this device, it still does.
Keeping track of meeting summaries and who we have been in contact with and spoken with over the course of the business year.
HubSpot helps professionals to be better. This is highly recommended because they value their clients and deliver better results.
I have nothing to dislike with HubSpot. I am satisfied with their service.
I needed help with my social media marketing tools and HubSpot was very much of help. My website traffic increased.

Manage your tasks with ease *difference to other software We have a lot of external staff in our company, so we needed a tool to help us manage our tasks efficiently. We chose Smartsheet because it is user-friendly and has many features. It allows us to create and customize our sheets without learning complex IT skills. The templates are also handy for new staff to Smartsheet, as they can follow the examples and get started quickly. Another feature we like is the toolbar, which is similar to Excel. It makes it easy to edit and format our sheets, and it doesn’t feel unfamiliar to staff who are used to working with spreadsheets. We also appreciate the filter function, which lets us sort and search our data by various criteria. We can filter by status, comments, dates, owners, etc. It is convenient when we have a lot of data and need to find specific information quickly. *favorite We have to make reports often, and the Solution Center has ready-made templates that we can use or modify as we need. Another thing we like about Smartsheet is the simplicity of its interface. It has few buttons or menus, so it’s easy to navigate and use. It feels like using desktop software, even though it’s cloud-based. As a marketing company, we work on projects that require us to break down our tasks into smaller units. Smartsheet is perfect for this, as it has a WBS (work breakdown structure) feature that lets us create hierarchies and dependencies among our tasks. We can assign owners, set deadlines, track progress, and attach files to each task. It’s very convenient and helps us stay organized and on track. *disadvantage We think it would be nice if Smartsheet had an online chat system that could connect us with our external staff easily. Sometimes we need to communicate with them quickly and directly, and it would be great if we could do that within Smartsheet. We would like to see a feature that lets us click on a button and start a chat with anyone using Smartsheet, even if they are not in our company network or using Skype. *recommendations We would recommend Smartsheet to any company with a lot of staff who are not very IT-savvy. Smartsheet is easy to learn and use and has many features that can help you manage your tasks effectively. You can also customize your sheets according to your needs and preferences. Smartsheet is a versatile and powerful tool that can boost your productivity and collaboration. *Add to program We also think that Smartsheet could offer more options for its licensing system. For example, it could create a lite version that is more affordable for smaller businesses or individuals who don’t need the full version's features. This way, more people could benefit from using Smartsheet and enjoy its advantages.
We use HubSpot each day as part of our relationship with HubSpot and navigate easily through this famed CRM/Sales program. Our market development window in the HubSpot Sale Process encourages us with a wide variety of topics. My favorite resources involve closing and contacts as well as connections (connections generated - future clients - companies - income ...), the flexibility of CRM and attempts at marketing and sales management. The snippet can also retrieve vector data automatically from a reference folder. You will automatically add it from a file.
I love that it is an everything in one platform for marketing, ads, emails, sales enablement, deal closes, and website management.
It can have its limitations with customizing certain things. The traffic data is limited because they want you to host your website through them.
Marketing and Sales alignment is easier, it has helped with funnel data and I love that we can directly attribute wins with specific campaigns or efforts.
Creating templates specific to campaigns.
Company details pulled by Hubspot itself is not accurate.
Bringing in new clients through mass email and marketing.
Content management - it facilitates the creation of any piece of content. From a post to social networks, a blog post, a mailing or Landing Page. Contact management - because it allows for a total tracking of each user from reaching away until it becomes a client. Also it helps to monitor the life cycle of each contact and creating smart for debugging database lists. Keyword management - I love completely handling the keywords of HubSpot because it helps you to do research, it helps you track and in each publication helps you with optimizing contents. The forms - with smart fields [you can] avoid asking the same information from frequent contacts and this helps us limit our database with additional information about each person.
Scheme of payments for the number of contacts. The biggest productive percentage of my country is the micro, small and medium companies, and many of them can not invest in a tool like Hubspot.
We use HubSpot for the marketing communications of the agency. All of the organization uses it, in fact, all of us are certified in Inbound Methodology. With HubSpot we are attracting and connecting with our target marketing, using the content as the basic fuel of our strategy. Additionally, the tool brings us the opportunity to train our team with all certifications and study resources.
I like the convenient tools for social media scheduling and email automation.
The email images could have higher resolution.
I'm able to track analytics and make suggestions based on them, which is great.
I love the interactive hands-on aspects. This certification has helped me in my job so much!
I would like a better explanation for workflows.
Inbound marketing and nurturing leads. I have realized the sales hub is important too for some of the accounts I work with.
- Functionality between contacts and company - User friendly on a mobile device - Can call from the laptop using your mobile number - Track email and attachment views
- Not being able to remove photos and images from the image folder
- Tracking client and customer interactions - Using tasks and calendar to track follow ups and book catch ups
Loved the automated alerts of email on a daily basis.
Nothing. I really like it a lot. Good one.
Email marketing.
