Solid dashboard with easy to use tasks and integration features. Good for managing projects from multiple departments.
Sometimes the tools and integration can be a bit finicky, this is a small issue though.
Keeping track of complex projects and timelines in our organization.
how insanely supportive the monday team is, a - responding to all questions and issues (quickly!), not matter how dumb it may be b - the rapid development and uptake of monday community ideas! rad to see the progress on things so quickly. not just because they have high votes (as some app dev teams do), but because you read the idea and your team gets it (or asks more questions), thinks it makes sense, and just know it should happen. keep.it.up.
of the list of pros and cons i've been keeping while I got to know the app over the past month... I think the only things I haven't been able to conquer with the tool for our needs are: 1-sub-tasks with the same level of metadata as the parent task 2-subtasks with some (but not all) of the metadata as the parent task 3-out of box relationships between summary level details and task level details (while we can create this through through a complex set of status columns and linking... it would be great for the templates to includes a relational set up (like: Programs > Projects > Tasks > Sub-Tasks) 4-Customized experience (for internal and client facing interaction) 5-Customized branding (for client facing interaction) 6-extracts of data that are plain and don't have monday logos/colors etc.(makes us not want to share projects with clients) 7-more control over what is included in notifications and how they look. 8-time tracking data extraction and summary in dashboards not detailed/plain enough I'm hopeful of the app for the future though, as I think we can work around these things in other ways for the interim. Now... to convince my team!

Using boards and tracking the status of pulses is such a great way to organize teams. Monday fits perfectly with agile methodology. I love being able to see where my team is at with a host of projects at a glance.
Monday.com is so flexible it can be a little daunting to the new user. Although there are a number of tutorials and examples, I would like to see more. On boarding a team onto Monday.com and getting everyone on the same page can be pretty challenging. I’d love to see more tools to help walk new users through the fundamentals.
I save so much time not having to track people down to figure out what the status of a particular task is. Monday makes it easy to communicate about and assign tasks with team members.
I like the additional features within each main one. The tracking of projects is extremely helpful with production.
The layout is still something we’re getting used to.
We’re becoming more organized. We didn’t have any type of project management in system before so it’s been pretty helpful
Easy to categorize lists and tasks, as well as assign things to specific users. I like the Ux friendly interface.
A bit bright color wise, but I can get used to it.
Divvying up project work and timeline tracking.
This is very easy to use and to tailor to whatever you need to keep track of. There's a color assortment to differentiate between different task and groups and it's all summed up in groups for easy viewing. There are also templates that make starting up easy and then you can adjust them to better suit your own needs.
The only thing i would suggest is the ability to see all of your upcoming projects in a month view.
Connecting the dots but with other departments and just over all visibility of workload. It's made it easier to get what I need to do done with out relying on emails for communication.
Sharing tasks with my team & personal project management features.
The name of the site is weird. I always have to say "Monday.com" when I'm talking about it with my team, or else things get confusing.
No problems. The organization by month features are great. Helps me stay on track.
Monday.com is a great tool for our business. We have a lot of projects going at any given time and Monday.com allows us to keep track of them more easily. There is also an app that you can download. I like how easy the platform is to use because there isn't a training period with new employees. I like the bright colors and the simple structure.
Monday.com is limited in its capabilities, unless you want to pay a lot of money for upgrades. The way shared boards are set up can be kind of annoying, as it isn't easy to copy/paste segments from one board to another. That would be one feature I wish the developers would consider. I also don't like the name! It's confusing that it's called a day of the week. We'll say "Can you please put that on Monday?" and people get confused thinking we mean the day of the week instead of the site.
Project management has improved immensely since implementing Monday.com. Collaboration is also easier. In just a few clicks, we can monitor what people are working on and assign them new tasks.
Relatively simple UI, that you can layer in more complexity as needed.
There isn't really anything that I can think of.
We use it to track updates and progress for customer advertising campaigns.
I love monday.com because I'm able to completely customize each board for each specific project. I also love that I can duplicate templates for similar projects. I love being able to assign owners and due dates to help keep members of the team accountable. I like being able to keep links to all collateral in one place.
To be completely honest, I wish the name of the product didn't have a ".com" in it. I find it difficult to quickly reference. I know they've already rebranded once though. Everything else is great. No complaints.
We are using this tool primarily for our Go-To-Market boards. The cross-functional team collaborates using monday.com and stays on track toward reaching our release goals.
I like the ability to designate tasks to people, it helps to keep the team accountable and allows for sorting of tasks by that person as well. I like that you can use tags to keep track of certain tasks as well.
I dislike how it is not very customizable and how you cannot assign one task to multiple people, and most tasks it is hard to track notes over time.
The main problem being solved is tasks force. Before we were using a notes app to share things amongst each other and this is a lot more organized
Easy to use and allows for easy tracking of projects especially when several people are involved
Lack of charts, gant view, inability for dates to sync up if one changes
Task management
I like that it gets my whole team on the same page. Really simple and easy to get up and running in a functional state quickly.
It's difficult to get make the clients to get used to it and is a bit expensive
Keeping track of all the moving pieces of several different projects
Shareable boards - we use these with clients, where they can add new things, then we can track the approval status and task status.
Sometimes you miss things if you aren't tagged or subscribed just the right way. Also, the app likes to resize itself for some reason.
Keeping track of all the moving pieces of several different projects is much easier using monday.com. It cuts down on emails so much!
We use Monday to organize our projects and it is quite a resourceful and useful project manager. We are able to track updates and time frames, production status and any references that need to be given ir uploaded for different staff for a variety of inquiries. We are able to export and import cvs files and excel files and it is very convenient in building up a system
Cannot do invoicing from this platform otherwise it would be perfect.
Project tracking and organization, file upload, project description and tracking of timelines and proceedings. Updates from different staff members to each other.
ease of functionality simplistic user interface ability to gain a snapshot of what is happening
there is a limit to the search functions available caters to very specific use
Easy and up to date tracking of important information
I enjoy being able to categorise clients into boards and customise the steps of my work flow.
Sometimes finding thinngs can be difficult
Monday helps with organisation and getting a good idea of the sense of workload. It also helps to streamline the delegation of tasks between team memebrs.
They are always updating and improving their platform. It does help to keep track of outstanding invoices and projects.
We have several financial columns and the zeros do not display after the decimal. For example: $40.50 displays as $40.5. I requested the ability to change the column display to have financial amounts display fully in to two decimal places since we started 2 years ago but it has yet to be addressed.
It's helping to combine ideas, testing, documentation, product management, event planning, task management, and A/R all in one place. This keeps us from having to go to multiple places to get the same information and to ensure everyone is on the same page.
We use it for scheduling of our inbound and outbound trucks
Sometimes it's very slow and there are a few changes that I would make
It helps us keep track of our inbound and outbound trucks as well as our planning for the day
Monday is very helpful for capturing the grand scheme of a project all the way down to the minutiae.
The export feature has some thing left to be desired.
Monday does a great job at visually representing what is going on with a given project as well as shaping out how product deliverables can occur. It allows for a great level of details while keeping the information from becoming too overwhelming.
