The best part about Nifty is that you can build it up however you like! Whatever views make you work better, this is what you can get in Nifty. And it's so intuitive!
The least helpful in Nifty is the ability to have everything. It might make you freeze in the beginning when choosing between all the options: from Gantt charts to simple to-do-list views.
Nifty helps my whole team to be on the same page without needing us to put extra time or effort into managing our daily tasks, but also, our lengthy projects. We are faster than ever!
It's very customizable. I love that I can use some features for unexpected stuff, such as using Story Points for hours, because my colleagues don't like using the time tracking.
I will say that I dislike the fact that recurring tasks will always assign the same people to same tasks and subtasks. I can always remove them, sure, but I would prefer it to be an option.
Nobody in my team knew what others were doing. Handling my own tasks was never a problem, but knowing what others are working on and seeing the steps changes everything.
I like the different ways that I can format My projects. And I especially love the dependency clauses on tasks. They help me remember that I need to work in order on some things.
I think the mobile app is lacking. I would like to see some more functionality including calendar. I'm looking forward to a revision or update soon on the mobile app
Nifty is a superior project manager. I am benefiting from having my tasks pop up immediately at the top of my view. The software is helping me stay focused and on task.
Nifty has everything ur team needs in order to perform smoothly and on time. The PM features and the chat features allow us to stay on top of our tasks and maintain constant communication all across the team. It's a real game changer for our company
There are some features such as the filesharing that are still not tuned in perfectly to our needs, but the Nifty team has always been on top of it and searching for ways to ease our jobs.
it has helped us manage correctly the projects and the team members assigned to each project in an organized and clean way, allowing us to know who is doing what and when, which is vital for our company
The organization of the sections, modules of the tool. In addition, the best user experience and interface of any project management software on the market.
Nothing I have disliked about it for the past two years of my usage.
Organizing my team and getting them to use a tool they like! Nifty solved that and not only it gets work done, everyone enjoys using it.
One of my favorite features is the integration of chat within the CRM. Chat has been implemented in other project management CRM's but the way it is done in Nifty is very 'Slack-ish'. Awesome! One of my favorite non-features is the interface. The interface is intuitive and team members are able to update me on all of their projects and tasks - all automated. As tasks are moved between statuses, there is the option to provide notifications or additional automations. Think Trello, but better. The intuitive interface allows for easy onboarding.
Nifty is better than many project management applications that I have used in the past. One thing that I would like to see is the ability to change colors for the dashboard. Currently there is only options for classic, light, and dark.
Nifty has replaced Asana, Trello, and Slack for us..so far. This is key since previously we would jump between applications. While the platform isn't fully customizable, it can be supplemented. Don't let some of the non-customizability deter you. Nifty understands project management in a way that I haven't seen with other applications (even full custom CRM's that employ a full time local development team - and sometimes even then the mark is missed...) Now that everything is in one spot, we make heavy use of templates. Now, when we onboard, it is one login, and only have to delete one login when offboarding.
My favorite thing is the functionality. You can import directly from platforms like trello and asana and use them in Nifty. You can also switch views to what is most efficient for your project. The ability to create secondary tasks, have milestones, just the way the whole thing is set up. I can't say enough about it. You can also easily switch organizations within it without having to log in and out which makes life so much easier!
It is still a newer platform so there is the occasional glitch, the biggest one I've experienced is having to reconnect zoom multiple times. (Yes, it integrates with zoom and you can directly go into a meeting with someone you're in a chat with!)
It has created a whole new level of clarity with project management in terms of streamlining. I LOVE the milestones and ability to put multiple working parts into each milestone with different deadlines, different people assigned to, the ability to use the Nifty docs, etc. It's also helping to see exactly where time is being spent with the time tracking feature.
The speed and responsiveness of the application is, to me, its best feature. Other systems we've tried tend to 'get in your way' by making you wait for screen updates, lookups, etc. Not Nifty, it allows me to stay 'in the flow' while I manage projects, tasks and people.
My dislikes are mostly minor, and the Nifty team has been responsive to requests.
We are a consultancy that works with multiple clients, and Nifty allows us to have all of the work (project schedules, tasks, milestones, discussions, necessary files) in one place. We were drowning in 'email hell' trying to track which client needed what and by what date they needed it, etc. Nifty has clarified workflow and made it easier to track all of the small details of ongoing projects.
The user interface is intuitive and the milestones and tasks have been useful for keeping track of deadlines.
No real complaints so far, there may be too many functionalities for what I need but I can control the widgets so that's useful
We didn't have a great way of managing things like grant application deadlines prior to using Nifty, but now we can just assign a task to a team member. Having google docs integrated has been great as well so everything is in one place.
The overview lets me clearing see that all our projects are on time. This is the feature missing from every other project management solution we've tried.
The interface is beautiful but seems to be a bit buggy on same browsers like Safari.
I run a digital marketing agency with a mix on monthly retainers and one-off projects. After trying most of the big players out there I stumbled on NiftyPM. It allows us to create workflows specific based on the project needs to in our retainers we can use reoccurring tasks combined with the milestone(gantt) layout to make sure we're delivering on time.
