user friendly, even for beginners. Ease of setting permission for different portfolios and projects.
Not as good as Notion and Slack. But I am sure they will improve.
Internal communications within team members and projects/tasks tracking.
The layout is simple and quick to understand. I', moving from other tools and the visual UI wasn't good. Nifty has a good and intuitive one. I like the way they organize times and Gantt views even if itsn't perfect yet. I like the G suite integration and the possibility to chat directly with team mates. Good one!
They have something to improve like tasks alphabetically order etc. I think that with just few simples improvements they will get a A+++ tool for small and big businesses.
Team management and tasks management
I have tried various PM tool but Nifty caught my attention because of the UI and UX. I am now using this tool on a daily basis for my business development, employment work, career plans, study plans, and personal todo's. It has a clean design and easy to use. I can address different project manahement methodologies, including a customize based on personal preferrence. What I like are the following: 1. Dark mode 2. Kanban style 3. Can give access to guest users (e.g. third party or clients) 4. Can share the project milestone to public using a link. 5. Can create unlimited projects and projects can be categorized to a portfolio (e. g. Company A is the portfolio, projects are 1, 2, 3 and more) 6. Can create a template from another project which you can use on similar projects. 7. Can duplicate milestone and tasks. 8. Can create recurring tasks with notifications 9. Has a mobile application 10. Great customer service 11. Has an overviee of project status, team workload, project calendars and summary of tasks from all projects assigned to you. 12. Awesome roadmap of current and future developments
Project metrics/dashboard not yet deployed.
Email forwarding, they have resolve the email forwarding from outlook.
I love the team chat feature from within the PM tool. I love Google Docs and Google Sheets being accessible from within the app or browser. These make for a nimble work environment. I love it.
There are a few UX aspects that I wish could be changed or added. For example, dragging and dropping items across projects would be nice.
I've run into a few minor bugs. For example, when I use the desktop app and open Google Docs/Sheets, the language is set automatically to the language of the country I am in and I am unable to switch it back to English. It's fine in the browser. I'm hoping the team will be fixing all the small issues soon.
By far the best thing about Nifty is the user experience. Not over complicated, not too basic.
There isn't really much, I sometimes get lost with the amount of features that it has, that being said if there is something I am trying to do, Nifty allows me to do so.
Keeping all my tasks organised and not all over the show.
There are so many pros, I'm not sure where to begin. The experience of the tool so far gives me the vibe that the tool is very mature, but the team is very adaptive and open to new ideas without compromising on their vision. Qualities I can definitely stand behind. So anyway, back to the pros: - Beautiful and FAST interface: When staring at something all day, you want something great to look at. - Fool proof UX: Everything is so easy to use and intuitive. - Milestones Swimlane View: Changed my life and way of doing things - Dark Mode: A must have for me - iOS App: Makes my life a ton easier - Zoom Integration: I wonder why so many other PM tools didn't think of this - Recurring Task, dependencies, and the list goes on so I won't bore you. If I could only praise one thing, I would give mad props to the Nifty team. They have rolled out multiple updates in the span of a month, and have been extremely involved with their community. Every issue I encountered was fixed, and every question I asked was promptly replied.
There's only 1 con so far that I encountered. The ability to export to other PM tools. Sometimes we get clients who specifically want to manage their project on Trello or Asana. It would be great if we could export our pre-existing task templates and milestones across for such use cases. It's easy to port in, but not easy (for not) to export out. However, I understand they are already working on this, so we'll just have to wait.
I'm able to see my milestones in swimlane view. Collaborations and communication with my team members is almost on the same level as Slack. In my previous tool, I wasn't able to do this at a very efficient level. My clients have been very happy that I am using a software that is as fast and beautiful as this.
Nice interface, nice onboarding process. It's a good system for keeping things organized, especially with multiple people.
Nothing so far. It's pretty robust, but the onboarding process has been very helpful to me.
Need to manage audio production projects with teams on several people. This has helped us keep things organized.
Onboarding with Nifty is fast, the interface is sleek and it has web, desktop and mobile apps. I like having one place to manage projects with roll-up overviews, portfolio views, resource view, calendar views and also assign tasks. I also enjoy the distinction between a team and guest - a team license is for your project management team and project administrators; everyone else can leverage the free guest license. Calculating licenses every time a new project is required adds an additional overhead and can possibly become a roadblock. You can start a project and when needed add in the respective licenses and not forced to buy a minimum or block of licenses with some other PM tools.
I would like to see some more voting or weighting capability or possibly enhancing the current story points. There are some larger enterprises using Nifty so I hope it does not turn into a dinosaur like many apps that have had their future dictated by niche specific requirements from the highest bidder - hoping Nifty stays agile.
Nifty helps with managing projects - fast. I've used MS Project in the past and setting up and managing a project is no walk in the park. I am able to perform all of the activities I need without complexity.
- I really like the UI, it is clean and easy to use. - The team chat is amazing
It sometimes takes a while to upload files, I believe this is something that can be fixed in the future though...
- Team wide organization was solved, I can now track everyone's progress better and help where needed - The team chat helped improve communication
I like the structure, it is clean, easy to use and I can manage several brands easily. I like the task dependencies and the ease of importing from Trello.
I'd love a few more templates, there are several but I'd love to see some additional templates.
I can easily manage multiple brands and their content in one place including scheduling, collaboration and multiple projects for each.
The clean look and feel while being able to keep up with the team via direct messages via desktop or mobile.
The awkward google doc constant update when typing in it.
I have used several project management tools but none of them seemed to have direct messaging to team and clients on desktop and mobile. Now I don't have to hope between another tool and slack for messaging.
I liked very clean and simple UI, built-in time tracking, built-in option Docs &Files, useful and convenient dashboard
Waiting for integration webhooks and open API. They promised to add soon before the end of the year.
Project management is very convenient. In a couple of clicks, you can find out where at what stage.
Every new client, after payment and contract will automatically get the login details (with Zapier integration) and an email to ask them to download the app. Nifty is the main communication channel for clients, practical to use, fast and simple. Besides , we can also share docs and manage projects with team.
More color customizations in the dashboard.
Client onboarding and communication, project management, contract arquives. file sharing, team communication
Nifty is a solid product and works great in collaboration, actually it is supported by a great team, i love working with it daily.
Actually there 's nothing that I dont like about the product and as much as I use it i love it more.
Reduced my time spent on tasks, and my success rates are definetely increased becuase I can now easily use Charts to see the progress in a clear precise way.
We were using trello. Trello lacks many features which we were looking for. Using Nifty, we can easily manage projects as well as we can easily collaborate with our clients
The product is matured but, there are still room to grow. While using the platform I faced many issues (Not major). 1. Guest Permissions: If the guest (client) is added to a project, he can see all the task lists. So, if we hide all the tasks from the client, he will see empty task lists! I also found some bugs like mobile app data refresh issue, broken image thumbnail while uploading images, etc. I'm sure those bugs will be resolved soon!
Nifty makes everything well organized. It makes project management very easy! Furthermore, Nifty allows seamless collaboration with the clients.
Amazing product! It will ease our company's workflow with the customers 100%!!!! Thank you !
none. i didnt find anything that has to be adressed
workflow of my company
Nifty has great UI/UX, amazing Google Sheets/Docs integration, fast development (quality oriented), enough bells and whistles, you can just open and manage projects from the very beginning, and support is great! I first used Nifty by January 2020, and it was not my tool of choice, now I gave a second chance in June and it’s a complete different tool. In 6 months they evolved a lot!
It’s not perfect yet. Missing Inbox feature, ordering projects non alphabetically, ordering fields the way I’m used to. But they are aware of these issues and probably these probably won’t be a problem anymore in a few months.
Nifty is now my main PM tool, but I also use it to manage my personal tasks, control wishlists, book lists and shopping lists.
+ possibility to assign more than 1 person to a task + awesome and responsive support + neat and intuitive UI + customizable, I can switch off the chat function which we don't use so the UI stays sleek + dependencies and milestones + Gantt view + Great features like integrated time tracking and custom fields that allow us to customize tasks to our needs + we can add unlimited guest collaborators!! + compared to other pm software best pricing for small teams (flat rate not price per member) + discount for Non-Profits
- mobile app needs some improvement but I mainly use it on desktop anyway
We needed a solution for effective project management with our small team. Nifty brings great possibilities to add details to tasks and also to add task dependencies and milestones. Great to switch between views (Kanban, List, Gantt).
