We've been using PureChat inside of our app GitKraken which is built on Electron. So far we've had some of our best user support via in-app chatting with out customers. My team monitors the widget which we've embedded in our app for new requests and the experience is pretty seamless for both us and our users. I'm also able to answer questions when I'm out of the office with the Android app which is really nice as well.
Currently I get double notifications on my phone and my desktop app. And sometimes I don't get auto-awayed on schedule.
Talking to my users about their experiences and problems that they're having in realtime as they're using the app is amazing. It's nice to be able to walk a user through something they might not know or gather feedback as the user has requests.
It's always working. It's always there to give our customers a way to reach us, even when we aren't there. Anytime I have any questions or concerns, Robert has always been quick to respond.
The app isn't perfect. I often have connectivity issues with it and sometimes logs me out for no reason. I'm sure the kinks will get worked out eventually.
Overflow of customer phone calls was the original issue that provoked us to sign up. While we still have some stubborn customers who don't want to go to the website, we have been able to answer customer's questions quickly while they stay right on our website.
I found pure chat really easy to install on the web. We were able to get started right away with the default graphics and then added some customization in a few days. The absolute best thing is the mobile app. We do not have dedicated people waiting for chats because we are a pretty small team. One person on our team uses the desktop app and is really happy with it. I use the iPhone app. First of all it is great because it sends me a text when there is a chat request. Second of all the app loads fast enough that I can then load it in case it was not already loaded. Finally the quality of the chats with the iPhone have been great for me. I did not have the same luck with my previous chat software.
I would like some flexibility with the billing that does not appear to be available to me right now. I run 2 separate brands which makes our situation a bit more complex than most people.
We want to be responsive when people get to our site. The live chat function makes us available to certain prospects immediately. More and more people hesitate to make a phone call. Chat fixes that. Putting chat transcripts into Infusionsoft contact records with the press of a button is cool too.
Pure Chat makes me accessible to customers even when I'm not in the office which is very handy with our international customers. Its always day time somewhere and Pur Chat gives us the opportunity to speak with those clients from the comfort of our own homes. I love that it keeps a record of all transcripts and that they are readily accessible.
I dont like that all of the options that are available on the website aren't available in the app for mobile. Being able to export transcripts from pure chat to infusionsoft via mobile would be amazing. I would also like to see more scheduling options.

Does not have "team" chat pages meaning, the ability to have departments handle specific questions, like technical support department, sales department etc.. Would like to have incoming chats assigned to teams and those within teams can pick up chats in their queue.
Ability to instantly communicate with customers.
Super easy to implement and overall a great chat feature for our website. What I like best is the ability to customize and time the chat box to pop-up on specified pages.
What's not to like, Pure Chat is doing an awesome job and I look forward to a lasting relationship.
By adding the chat function to our website and social media pages we've become more efficient in answering prospects questions quickly without them having to fill out forms or pick-up the phone. In fact what we see a lot of are prospects browsing at work or on a lunch break and they don't have the ability to pick up the phone so why leave there questions and concerns unaddressed with Pure Chat.
I use this in my daily sales environment, so I love that I can see the country the person is in, where on my company website they've chatted from as well as the fact that you can easily set your availability schedule. It is also nice to have the transcript exported to our CRM with the click of a button.
The ONLY thing I would change is that if a person chatting leaves the chat first, the transcript shows that I left first.
WE GIVE OUR CUSTOMERS BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE! We have Pure Chat installed in our customer's trials, so when they have a question, they can quickly and easily be there for them while the question is top of mind. This leads to more engaged customers and ultimately, more closed deals!
Pure Chat is incredibly user friendly and simple to customize. It makes communicating with customers so easy. The personal chat pages are also great - very easy to design. The mobile app has been very useful, especially for notifications. I also like the personality that comes through both in the product and on their newsletters and announcements!
There is not much I would say I dislike about the product. It's still evolving so there are some features to be added and improved but they update often!
We are using Pure Chat to increase engagement with customers and prospects. We use it daily and have definitely improved our level of communication and engagement during the sales process.
The look and feel, I've used countless chat applications and this one simply looks good. I use daily and have it integrated with a few other products we use and it's great. Couldn't imagine using another tool.
Relatively new to market, may not be as deep as other solutions for some customers.

The interface is really nice and setup is easy. We have our whole team using it and it works quite well.
Sometimes I forgot to set myself as "unavailable" when I am talking on the phone or get pulled into meetings... and I end up missing chats that way. It's my issue... I need to develop better habits.
Being an inbound sales organization, we want to take care of as many customers as possible, so having PureChat as our web-chat service helps us to connect with more customers and drive better business results.
