QuickBooks Desktop Pro Reviews & Product Details

It was easy to install and did what I needed it to do.

With the desktop version, it was difficult to give access to multiple users across multiple offices. Our needs were not great, but we were limited in who could easily access the software.

Needed a secondary accounting system for a side project and this was a simple solution.

I have used QuickBooks for over 10 years now and appreciate how they listen to their customers to make updates

The accounting with QuickBooks makes it easy to know where my business stands to the penny. Invoicing is easy and professional looking.

Quickbooks is great for all your accounting administrative needs.

The cost involved with different packages, i.e. payroll functions

Accounting, reconciliation and payroll problems solved. The benefit is that it is user-friendly... most of the time.

QuickBooks Pro has all the functions to make it easy to manage our company's finances.

The only thing I dislike is that I haven't yet figured out how to import and export account lists so that I can avoid doing data entry multiple times.

I always have my account information available in real time.

I really like the easy of use and how departments are set up. And I really like being able to search help and the step by step directions.

The cost of the program and the added cost of the payroll program

The ability to print department states, without having to disclose all the other departments data.

I like that I can have multiple accounts open at once, and that I can add transactions into a checking account while reconciling it.

I do not like that all of the annoying Quickbooks ads that pop up when you sign in.

Keeping checking account balances positive - knowing what is coming in and out of them.

I like the many reports I can view of different sections with just a couple clicks!

I wish I could give lower level executives logins with limited information.

I like the convenience of keeping everything organized. The reporting feature is useful and it's nice to have a reference point when multiple clients ask me about previous orders made by their other colleagues. It's nice to be able to create custom templates for our various forms too.

Sometimes it can become difficult when your trying to use it in multi-user mode. And while I understand the convenience of adding items to the system for reorder purposes, it tends to overcomplicate things when your in a rush to get an order entered.

It helps us keep track of unpaid and/or overdue invoices, and important notes/info regarding certain accounts on both the customer and vendor side of things. It has also made creating and submitting reorders a breeze.

Among many other softwares I have tried, QuickBooks seems to be the most user-friendly!

The lack of customisability for certain functions or changing the layout to suit my preferences is unavailable for certain things in the software.

The way everything is integrated and most of the functions I need in one software makes QuickBooks a great all-in-one for my accounting needs!

What I like the best is that Quickbooks shows you exactly how to use their product with simple instructions. You can make your services simple or more complex depending on what you are looking for.

If you are completely new to Quickbooks it may take you some time to get used to the processes.

It keeps track of inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

It allows me to quickly see where my company is it, and keep track of clients as well.

Sometimes there are little glitches, but QuickBooks Diamond care always takes care of me

I have noticed occasional issues with QuickBooks Payroll, but giving them a call always helps solve the problem.

I like using it to pull up different reports.

Overall I've enjoyed using Quick books, but a lot of times it takes a lot of messing around to get the reports you need.

I enjoy using it when I can go into my clients systems to pull reports to help with our audits. It makes it so much more efficient.

This software is very user friendly and offers a variety of reports that help manage the business.

There isn’t much to dislike. It would be nice to be able to pull up invoices quicker.

We have been able to manage rental properties with this software.

I personally enjoyed how easy QuickBooks Desktop Pro is to use.

The one think I didn't like about QuickBooks was the overall layout.

Ease of using it to work with an outside accountant

Quickbooks is a great program for putting together different accounts. It allows you to input and keep track of all incoming and outgoing payments. It also allows for optimization and efficiency across different accounts.

The program can be laggy at some times. The home screen is also quite busy and can be overwhelming

QuickBooks Pro allows me to integrate my different account into one program. It also helps me digitize my payments and receivables so I no longer have to rely on paper invoices.

I appreciate the easy location of things.

Finding mistakes was difficult. Having too many applications open within it is sometimes hard to juggle around.

Benefits of Quickbooks are having a record of all past transactions in one place. The simplicity has diffused a lot of problems that happened in the past related to accounting.
