DESKTOP APP. Flexibility, multiple templates
Nothing at the moment. It could be great to become faster loading
Project management, list of blog article to be published
That the UI is familiar with rivals in the space, so there's no learning curve.
The UI (although familiar) could do with a little TLC, so make it look more 'modern'.
I'm taking a grid and using a form to submit data to onboard my clients.
Stackby allows to create wide range of database-type applications (it is in fact related database), share these databases with other users and even collect data from anonymous users using web forms or publish data from your database on any website using iframe. It is very easy to use and very reliable - I use it for more than year now and I had not any problems so far. The website have good help section, so even users that are not strong with spreadsheets or databases are able to get the guidance. Also the support is very responsive and responds fast and properly.
I don't really dislike anything, but in some areas I would love to see deeper functionality (for example web forms can send notification e-mails, but only to the form owner - you cannot change it so the e-mails are sent to someone else, which really hinders multi-user usage).
I see as the main benefit the fact that with Stackby you can create very powerful database systems completely without programming or need to hire anyone, and they are instantly ready for multiuser usage. But if you are not power user and just want safe online spreadsheet replacement, it does the job perfectly too. So it is very universal tool with wide array of usage and it is just up to you how you utilize it, but it is powerful enough to replace applications like Microsoft Access or FileMaker Pro already.
It all starts with a beautiful dashboard easy to use spreadsheets and turn them to powerful datas there are many unique data types perfect solution for you and your application also you can visualize & organize your data with your way
For now I couldn't find anything disturbing me in it but more integrations would be great to use it wisely
First of all I don't need any excel formats anymore
I know Stackby for almost a year and I have to say that I am impressed by the work they did in the last year. The introduced automations, this makes Stackby a no brainer to buy.
I am already very happy with Stackby. It would be nice if the templates can be extended further and we have an integration with other tools. (Pabbly, ...)
Before I had to develop and maintain my sql, mssql, oracle and postgre databases one by one. Now my live got a lot easier with thank to the tool stackby is offering. I hope to see more improvement, but I am already very happy with the features available now.
Stackby is a tool very easy to implement and to use. I use this tool to keep my customers data and ppointments and many other things. Stackby is also having integrations with various software solutions, including automation with Zapier and Pabbly Connect.
Only minor stuff, nothing major. When I have had any minor issue, I have received quick and prompt support.
Stackby is a cloud solution that helped me to to have a customer database in a simillar way to Excel spreadsheet. The tool is very easy to use and it has many other features, like formulas, API integrations, etc. I like it very much because it is easy to set up and use, being easy to be used also by less technical people.
A great set of online tools to manage and keep track of business workflow. No more standalone spread sheets for my team working in silos. Stackby is more than just any spreadsheet but with added integration and practical functionality, keeping track of almost everything in one place.
So far the platform is working great other than an instance where we couldn't access our stacks, however the support manage to patch the system almost immediately.
Saving time and money.
1. Ease of use - so simple, and intuitive 2. They had the 'end-user' in mind when they built this. They built ready to use templates for their 'stacks' 3. Makes you shake your head to realize 'why did i waste time in Excel' 4. Able to share/collaborate with people online 5. Ability to attach docx and jpegs into the stack itself 6. Full and easy customization of your spreadsheet/stack etc 7. Let's you be creative
The time i wasted pulling my hair out using excel this whole time not knowing this existed. No seriously. For real.
Easy organization of projects, deadlines, RACI, dates, tasks, meeting notes, etc. It's a complete thing. I track each project and tasks in an easy way without complicating it.
We use Gsheets for a lot of tasks we do within our consulting company, but, it lacks integrations with other essential tools, like Ahrefs, Facebook Ads metrics and a much more. You need to use plugins and pay premium, which can become very expensive, also, with a lot of moving parts that can go wrong. Stackby is now an essential tool on our tech belt, it's a spreadsheet, a database system and a lot of API integrations, you can also set formulas. We are saving a ton of time, and a ton of money using this tool. If you need to control something, and don't want to sell a kidney to do it, use this Stackby.
I would like to see a more modern UI, the current one feels outdated, but, that doesn't cause problems to the use.
We use it to gather relevant data from different sources, and use the flexibility of this tool to manage clients and our own assets. The integrations, like Facebook Ads, Analytics and others, make it very easy to have a bird eye view of all our operations.
Stackby has almost zero learning curve if you've ever used spreadsheets. Once you start to play around, the real power comes in using APIs and automations within the tables.
I have few complaints. On some occasions, the table would not save changes in cells, which I assume was a connection issue. But this was fixed within a few minutes.
Stackby can replace many other tools, such as simple CRMs and spreadsheets. It integrates with other tools for plenty of automations. It will increasingly sit at the center of my two businesses.
