I like that it does what it’s supposed to.
There is nothing that I dislike about this program.
This helps greatly with time management.
I love todoist simple interface. It is easy to use without investing too much time. The integration with Google Calendar is super helpful. I love that the today view keeps me focused without having to see everything on my list. Integration with Alexa, Google Home, and IFTTT are useful as well.
Drag and drop doesn't always work like I would expect it to. Sometimes the sync gets messed up and I see duplicates.
Todoist helps me stay organized using projects, labels and filters. Allowing me to customize the way I set things up and integration with my workflow.
The ability to share task lists and assign tasks with deadlines to other team members.
sharing an organized client pipeline efficiently with team members as it shows on your own list can be tricky. It seems to be in a different position on the the left side of the list so tasks can get a bit mixed up. But, As long as you assign directly to others you can filter and find what you need.
Delegating tasks efficiently to improve work flow and keep up with changes to the client pipeline.
The most that I like on this software that I can have an access to my tasks from any place. I have the ability to work on my tasks are always on my phone or in incoming letters and much more. Also, I like to create my own design with more effective tools.
Actually, all working tools are powerful and work well. But will be much better if we can create more colorful project. I would like to build the more beautiful interface.
We have great ability to share an unlimited amount of tasks with our colleagues or family members and work in real time on projects. We glad that we can work more on collaboration features and reach our goals.
Todoist is my favorite multi-platform task management tool. Between Windows, iPhone and Apple Watch support, I can easily manage tasks throughout the day without having to exert any additional effort to check where I am. I use it for both project management as well as all personal tasks. Some of the integrated flexibility isn't obvious out of the gate, but when learned it's a fantastic tool
Sometimes I wish sharing made Todoist a more robust platform like Kanban systems for project management, though I feel particularly with the more left-sphered users, this is about as close as you can come for minimal and direct communication while being visual enough for those not comfortable with list formats.
For project management, this app can work as an in-between for people with different workflows, mostly due to simplicity.
The ability to nest tasks, which creates groups. Also, the ability to share tasks and projects with other people. Tasks can be easily added one after another.
Certain features are under the pro account, but really with most of the things there are work arounds.
Keeping projects organized by keeping track of all the tasks needed to be completed. The nesting allows for grouping of tasks when a larger task needs to be broken down in steps.
I'm glad that I can use that software. Also, I introduce that solution for everyone in my team. Very powerful and clear tools. Great to control everything and to make our schedule.
Wonderful solution to have at work. Till now I'm working just with enjoy. Don't have any bad mood about that program. Also if something you need to know more than you can contact support service which is working well.
Very powerful tools. Helps us to create a project and making his look more wonderful. You will have a lot of things in one place. Very easy to manage all records. A simple way to use a video.
The advantages of the tool are very good, since it allows you to keep an order in the projects that are being developed in the work, the ability to carry several projects, each with its individual tasks, allows maintaining an order in what is done Every day, knowing the amount of tasks performed and how long I take, helps to maintain a precise order in things, this is very important in the day to day when there are many things to do, in addition to this, they can also be carried out projects among several people, assigning tasks to each worker, helping to maintain order and measuring the productivity of each one.
Although the program is very complete and carries out its task, it has some errors in the application of windows 10, sometimes in this version it is stuck, and when using in occasions the association to a gmail account it comes out with error or is the of another user, if they solve this it would be difficult to find an error to the application.
The need to keep order in your projects and tasks, without having to pay (for the basic service) maintaining an order in each project and task, know what worker did, greatly improving productivity and control, a very complete application.
There is no need to much work with it.For me and people around me are using at work this. Makes simple to manage and track to do schedule. It have full stage of integration.
Nothing to write here. Because i enjoy with this solution. Some people likes some no. Its better to try so just this you will understand bad or good with it.
You really can coloring your day with Todoist. you can go to records, so easy to go videos, you can try to get the most out of the project. definition with program can be a best friend in company.
Simple, clean interface. Good task classification tools. Location-based reminders.
few important features not available to free users.
With a clean and simple UI, excellent collaboration features, and support for plenty of platforms, Todoist is one of the most feature-rich to-do list apps, and a clear Editors' Choice.

to be improved the connection with google calendar
I use it especially in weeks with a lot of pending tasks and different priorities...
The visual is clean and the activities and projects are easy to manage, you do not spend much time of your day organizing your stuff. Most of the functions available are easy to learn you do not request complex information for anyone else, the tool itself if sufficient.
Some functions are only available in the paid version and I think that how the tool shows the history of what has already been done is confusing, to solve this I use a web integration (IFFT) with Evernote, where I can gather all the tasks I've done per project and date.
Management of a multi-task routine, I need to work with lots of project within a week, this tool can help me organize all the activities I need to do.
I am terrible at keeping track of what nees to be done. Todoist is the only platform that I have used that has actively kept me working towards my goals. Easy to navigate and easy to use, there is nothing to bog you down with todoist, it keeps you focused on what you need to get done.
There could be a bit more functionality. While it is simple to use and very user friendly, there are expansions that could be made in order to tailor my schedule a bit more.
Organizing my day has always been the hardest thing for me. Because I work in a startup environment I need to be constantly shifting what I am doing. Todoist has made my life much easier my always reminding me about what I have scheduled to do.
Todoist keeps my thoughts out of my head and stored in a secure place. I enjoy the gamification element of getting things done. I even became obsessed with getting karma points for a little while.
Though I fully understand the reasoning here, I wish I did not have to upgrade my account to make comments on an existing task. I especially loved adding images to tasks which is no longer possible on the free app.
I keep my life organized by storing thoughts, links, inspiration, and more. I use todoist when going through my emails in the morning. Anything that is not immediately actionable (e.g. respond or delete) will be stored in a specific todoist folder. Often I store such things in "to read" or "inspiration" folders.
The interface is very simple, and it just doesn't crash, unlike other to-do apps I have tried. I like that you can get started for free. Being able to create projects and sort tasks by priority helps a lot. I love that I can set some tasks as recurring daily, weekly, monthly, or in multiple custom time frames.
I wish Priority 1 tasks didn't rise to the top of the list. I prefer to sort my list by a rough chronology, and have the items stick in that order. I dislike that the "Today" view doesn't always show Today immediately. I have to scroll down past any past days that have unfinished tasks. This makes the widget unusable when set to "Today." Although, I guess it does prevent me from forgetting about unfinished tasks, and it encourages me to reschedule them. I wish there was a calendar view.
Being able to create nested project lists is fantastic. Not only can I have sub-lists, but the tasks can have sub-tasks. This app has prevented me from having hundreds of little scraps of paper floating around. I like that I can add a To-Do item and either schedule it immediately, or just put it in a project list to find later. I use this for both business and personal tasks, as I don't want to use two apps to organize my day. It's especially useful as a shopping list.
The ability to categorize tasks into separate projects helps create separate workflows. You can also set priorities that helps organise workflows effectively.
When you spontaenously create a task it goes to inbox. It becomes a multi step process to add a task to one of your projects/buckets afterwards.
It provides a task manager where you can add separate tasks for separate projects. Global shortcuts help you quickly document your next steps/tasks and keep them ordered in different buckets.
Life time Free version available suitable for personal task management Projects can be created and tasks can be orginized into various projects Due date for a task is a good way to remember when you need to finish a task
Paid plans are costly esp for folks not in USA Reminders which is a must have feature is not available in free plan Different status of a task is not supported like blocked on other task, in-progress etc
Task management
Here's what I liked the most about Todoist: 1. NLP: I have tried hundreds of to-do list apps, and Todoist has the best Natural Language Processing abilities. It can even understand complex commands, like recurring events. 2. Interface: I love the UI and UX of Todoist. It's minimalist and does its job well without cluttering the app with countless unwanted features. Plus, it's bug-free. I never found any single instance when the app never worked. 3. Flexibility: You can customize Todoist as much as you like. In my early days of using Todoist, I followed the "Eat That Frog" methodology but later switched to the classical GTD. Plus, templates make the switch a lot more hassle-free and straightforward. 4. Motivation: You earn Karma points to motivate you to work more towards your goals. Although they are useless, they are still worth a try. 5. Integrations: Todoist is well integrated with most essential apps, like Outlook, your browser, Calendar and so on. These features make adding tasks a breeze. 6. AI features: Although it's still in its infancy, Todoist comes with AI features that suggest how you can proceed with the task. Not a part that I use personally, but it works decently.
Here's what I don't like about Todoist: 1. Flexibility: Yes, it's a con for some users like me. Having too many options can indeed be overwhelming. Plus, the learning curve gets high. 2. Paywall: Todoist has hidden even the basic features like notifications behind a paywall. There's no option for a trial as well. 3. Pricing: Todoist's pricing is on the steeper side, as compared to the competition. Most features stated, like Karma points and AI, are useless for an average user. It's like taking a or nothing plan. 4. Geared towards teams: The personal plan is geared more towards the group. There are options for comments, selecting members on the Kanban board, etc. Most of them can be turned off, but why are these turned on in the first place, considering that I have opted for a personal plan? 5. Lack of essential features: There's no built-in calendar, no habits, no Pomodoro, etc. At least a built-in calendar is crucial in a to-do list app.
I am using Todoist to solve the following problems: 1. To make more time for the things that matter. 2. To get the ideas out of my brain and store them in an external system I can rely on. 3. To get the most important things done. 4. To stay productive.
Sleek UI/UX Free version Categroization of tasks based on projects Adding Due date for the tasks Calendar view for upcoming tasks Paid version has many features like reminders etc
It doesn't have the task statuses, you can only mark it as done but can't have multiple status like in-progess, block, or some other customized status Paid version is bit costly and they don't have a country specific plans
