The best part about Todoist is the near real-time sync across devices since I often need to switch between devices very fast and get mad if what I typed on my computer does not reflect on my phone. It's straightforward to create projects, labels, and tasks across the board and list views, allowing me to structure my professional tasks and chores under various sections/headings separately, much more easily compared to other apps. The keyboard shortcuts to create tasks and assign them to projects are very simple to remember. The natural language time-date sensing is top class and saves a lot of irritation to manually set time for each task. Two way sync with Google Calendar and other apps like JIRA is also very handy

There's a few features I'd rather like to see in Todoist. One of them is reminders - which are available only in the pro version, but are pretty much a necessity. It'd be great if a limited number of reminders could be added to the free version as well. Todoist also lacks a calendar view, making it impossible to drag and drop tasks to reschedule them. To reschedule, you have to edit each task's time, which is very cumbersome

Software quality and craftsmanship put into the app

Todoist supports location-based reminders. They work great. However the UI for managing the locations is confusing and doesn't allow removing of locations.

Keeps me organized, it is my second brain.

I love that I can sync different tasks and reminders on desktop and mobile and my Google Calendar. I use it mainly to remind me of recurring payments for subscriptions and other bills. It is my assistant, so I never forget any subscriptions and get nasty surprises and failed charges. I stay on track with ease. I consult it every day and have it as a Chrome extension. And it's free for the use I make of it. I have lists for other things, but my primary usage is tracking recurring bills.

I don't see what I can dislike about it. It has everything I need for what I use it. I didn't know I needed this before I discovered it through Thomas Frank from College Info Geek, who recommended it. I'm glad I did because I can't imagine myself without now!

I'm simplifying my budget management. I'm in control of billing deadlines, and I don't have the anguish of not knowing if I forget something important. It makes my life easier with the different subscriptions I have with my art online business and other bills.

The thing that drew me to Todoist first was its natural language dates. After starting to use it, though, I found it just so easy to break big projects down into manageable tasks and then get those tasks done day after day.

It is unfortunate that many of the features I would consider essential are reserved for paid plans. However, the paid plans are very reasonable. Additionally, I would like to see options for time tracking and due dates vs "want to have done by" dates added in the future.

I've revolutionized my daily task management with Todoist. Every morning, I have my list of things to do already listed for me because I add tasks to Todoist constantly and then have regular review sessions to make sure everything gets scheduled for an appropriate day.

- There is no alarm you can link to the app, for tasks. - I wish I could schedule a task for a particular day of the month on repeat. - There isn't space to add detailed notes to tasks, can just add small ones.

- Ability to schedule habits and tasks. - Keep track of work to be done in the day. - Ability to switch between mobile and computer with ease. - Using inbox to keep track of random thoughts/tasks that pop up.

I've used Todoist for a long time but when I changed jobs midway through 2021, I thought I might not need to use it anymore. I tried Microsoft ToDo for a while, but it was just missing so much. I missed the simplicity of Todoist. I missed having it everywhere, on any platform (my phone (apple or android), my computers (apple or windows or linux). I missed natural language recognition. I missed location-based reminders. I didn't realize how much I relied on Todoist for everything in my work AND personal life until I wasn't using it anymore. My little experiment lasted about 30 days. Never again.

Really, I don't dislike anything! I know that sounds ridiculous, but at least for me it's true. I've used Todoist for years and I've watched it evolve. The developers are responsive to their users. When they recognize that things are missing or disliked, they fix it. It's rare but appreciated.

I have Multiple Sclerosis, and it affects my thinking significantly. Specifically, I struggle with memory and "brain fog." Without Todoist, I don't know what I would do. It keeps me organized. It reminds me when things are due. I can store needed docs in a note if I need to for an event. It has become my little extra brain. As long as I remember to use it (that's what reminders as for), it's a lifesaver for me!

I love the ease of use and ability to just click, type and drag. The free version is very generous and allows me to keep my life in check and do pretty much everything I need to do. It's easy to access across multiple divices meaning I can quickly add to-dos when I'm out and about and reorder them later.

It'd be great to get a bit more organised and integrated with other platforms but I am operating on the free version so I don't expect this level of functionality.

Day-to-day to-dos and important tasks. The app helps me keep my work and personal life in check and I can do both in one platform which makes life easier. Each day when I come to work I make my list and I love the feeling off ticking something off.

Todoist is very easy to use. Adding tasks, managing projects, and even sharing tasks with your team. Despite its apparent simplicity, it is also very powerful. You don't need a lot of bells and whistles to have a great to-do list manager. I've been using Todoist for years and will continue to do so.

I wish there was a gantt-chart like ability to order tasks sequentially and have dynamic due dates for 'subsequent' tasks.

Todoist makes it so easy to keep track of all my projects and everything I need to do. I can easily organize tasks in to projects, so I can quickly answer the question, "What do I still have to do for Project X?"

I love how easy it is to use the platform. You can quickly add tasks, move them around, add a time and date, and manage your list how you would like. It is very user friendly!

Please add in a feature that allows you to see the tasks that you have completed RIGHT below the list for an easy grab. You can see what your completed tasks are, but I would like to be able to see them right below the list.

Todoist really helps me organize my tasks, sort by color (which I LOVE), and shows how many tasks you have left to complete. A couple of benefits that this platform has given me is that it is beneficial for time management, project management, and overall efficiency.

I have been able to be so organized because of this app! I am constantly meeting deadlines and remembering recurring items I need to accomplish!

There are very few downsides to this app. I might suggest including simply a postpone feature or something along those lines, but I have created a work around with this so this really isn't a huge issue.

I am able to stay on task and make sure that I remember those once a year or once every few months tasks. I really appreciate having Todoist, as I am really truly able to be more productive and not lose sight of tasks.

I've tried a lot of PM software. Todoist stuck for me because it was the fastest and most effective in helping me quickly and easily capture tasks from anywhere.

No significant complaints. I like the karma feature, but it does treat all tasks as equal and so rewards adding and completing more tasks. But often I'm more effective when I'm adding/completing fewer tasks but making progress on the "big rocks."

All my projects are in Todoist, personal and for work. It's very flexible in supporting the smallest of projects to projects of great complexity and scale. With filters and labels I can easily view only personal tasks/projects or only work-related tasks/projects.

I love the Pro feature that allows me to export my projects as a calendar feed. I'm able to see all of my tasks in a list or board view in Todoist. In Google Workspace, I can also see them in my project calendar feed - color-coded to perfection :)

I wish I could add and track projects according to timelines, and I wish the calendar view was included in Todoist rather than having to export it into Google Workspace. But I don't have a lot of downsides - I love Todoist!

You may set up alerts and receive notifications for a selection of pending and essential activities. It is also relatively user-friendly, allowing me to do most of the duties with minimal effort. The user interface is also excellent. As a program, it is extremely good and visually appealing, and it allows you to make any changes to your duties. Todoist helps me stay on top of everyday tasks, whether they're for business or for fun. All tasks may be color coded and organized into different categories based on their difficulty.

Todoist helps me in organizing and planning my projects and tasks. To organize events or activities with my coworkers, I use this program as well. Since we use a variety of platforms, it's been a time saving not to be concerned about technical glitches.

The best I like about Todoist is that it is straightforward to manage. I love the colors they are using. You can easily group tasks and see all tasks by date in the calendar

It will be nice to add more functionality to task for developers or integrate with more apps. I hope to see them soon more.

The ability to break up tasks specific to your preferences, depending on the size of work, and subtasks within tasks is extremely helpful.

Generally, the desktop application does the job pretty well for what you ask it to do, especially as a menu bar app on macOS. For some reason, I'm not a huge fan of the iOS mobile app, but I think it's more about my personal preferences as how I would manage tasks on mobile vs. desktop.

Managing timelines for both complex and simple tasks alike, and recurring tasks that need to be accomplished. I find that Todoist has kept me in check with a lot of repeating tasks that I occasionally forget about.

Natural language input allows me to get things out of my head or from a meeting into a system where I will revisit it. I also like the way it helps me plan my day and prioritize tasks.

Todoist has built a flexible system, but they're inflexible on a few features that the community frequently requests, such as "start dates". There are also some quirks you learn to work around with their awesome but limited filters and sorting views.

As a project manager, I don't manage projects for work inside todoist, but I manage my role in said projects. That can include things I need to get done, or follow ups with other people to make sure they get their work done. This has helped me let fewer things slip through the cracks.

Accessible from any device. I can start on my PC, then transition to my phone, and then back to my PC seamlessly.

Ease of implementation without sacrificing quality. Task management tools usually tend to be very basic and limited. With Todoist, on the other hand, you get a versatile tool packed with a ton of features that allow a task management tool to be way more than that.

For me, the best part is that it somehow resembles a paper to-do list in the sense that I can add a new taks wherever I'd like (in a section or not) and all of them are in the same list. The iOS widgets are also great. I have two Todoist widgets in my homescreen. It's become my only to-do app.

I wish I were able to filter tasks by projects and labels at the project page instead of having to create a specific and permanent filter on the filter list.

I've used to have different task management apps, one for each type of thing (projects, personal...) and Todoist allowed me to have it all under one app, because it versatile to accomodate simple tasks and complex projects. Besides, it's also great for sharing tasks with others.

Todoist informs me whenever I have things to do which is something I really enjoy. Although I have a lot to accomplish, several category options help me prepare myself. In addition, it's easy to keep up with what's happening every minute , day, week and month. So I can always stay productive when doing my tasks

Shared projects are messy, especially when tags get involved. I wish there was a built-in calendar view instead of the roundabout solution of integrating with google calendar.

Todoist has been the most transparent and user-friendly tool for organizing our everyday tasks. Todoist also made it much easier for us to execute the project and activities which needs to get done. Its process is highly customizable, and it helps us to discuss our progress with other former teammates and through various devices.

The reminder feature is not great, needs improvement. I would like it to add a more customizable recurring reminder option.

Todoist enables me in sticking to the additional actions in my email updates as well as keeping track of the files which need to be completed. It is also very simple to write a detailed assignment with all of its characteristics and a fitting user interface.

The best thing about todoist is the ease by which i can manage my tasks, but its not only about task management , its about increasing my productivity. The abilty to use the product and plan not only days but weeks in advance feels like a superpower which has helped me immensely Plus would like to add that the blogs are super insightful and would consider the content as gold standard in builing brand loyalty

A few bugs here and there on the mac app Only thing missing would be kind of summaries or anlytics of prdoctivity - but those can be done through integrations

I am a relativley new user, but have not come across any feature I dislike.

All-in-one simple and convenient to use. I can add my daily / weekly / monthly tasks on the application and get notification each time. The process only takes a couple of minutes. in the beginning It's exciting to simply place your task on the platform with task management systems with all kinds of extra requirement. then you get reminder notifcation , best thing is I can share my task with other users in our organization and collbarate on multiple task at once. When I open the explorer, it is still there and I can keep up with anything I have to do every day. With Todoist, you will identify special and repeatable activities that are perfect for monitoring.

Users could search past content using various possibilities. Adding activities may be a bit glitchy, however, when you hold on, it's all good. I was bit upset because such an basic feature as an alarm notification has been transfer in todoist as a premium feature.

I use Todoist to schedule my day/week and schedule my appointments and activities for the ahead. If I recall well, it is simple to extend tasks to maintain order the very next day. This is the only way I can manage it all, and it's beneficial.
