I like the simplicity. There is nothing better than a simple software that does not lose its power and its full of features that work to their full potential. Setting everything is just so easy that it makes me wonder why I had so much trouble with completing tasks and meeting deadlines. The most useful feature from this app is the option to set reminders and notifications whenever I want, so I don’t forget anything. Todoist comes with project templates that are very easy to fill with tasks and subtasks depending on the type of project I’m working on at the moment, and collaborate with people in the project sharing files to help improve the process of communication. There is also a feature that is one of my favorites and is being able to access the tasks and projects through multiple devices! This allows me to increase my productivity and work on everything no matter where I am!

I think that if you’re not using the premium version it can be really limited because most of the useful features are in the premium version.

Todoist has helped me a lot. Before I wasn’t even able to complete tasks without missing a deadline and my work was a mess that I didn’t have control over, which tended to affect my workplace more often than not. Now, with the help of this product, I can be more organized and responsible for all my projects and meet deadlines successfully. I think the fact that my productivity has heavily increased is all thanks to Todoist and its amazing tools to boost the workflow and get on working right away. It’s just very easy to use and track everything, so I’m very happy with it.

I like the ease of adding new tasks and setting up repeating tasks

I dislike that there isn’t an option to auto-roll over some tasks to the current date if they remain outstanding

One of the good things about this application is being able to manage all my productivity in a simple and comfortable way, I like cross-platform support a lot because I can use it on the cell phone and in the Google Chrome extension and this allows me to create tasks or mark them as completed no matter what device you are using. The Todoist interface is very simple which made me very quickly accustomed to how the app works, by creating a note I can attach images to have a better reference or add tags to better identify them. thanks to karma points I can motivate myself to finish a task faster and then reward myself based on those points

This application has the perfect features for professional use, is a tool to manage different tasks and data you want to save, is an excellent way to manage projects within the company, has many options that make it a quality program for any user has the ability to customize the interface, so it depends on each user how you want to see it.

This program does not present any problem, the trial version of this tool is not good, is incomplete and does not have what it takes to use it professionally, however its paid version is really good and has everything necessary to become a program for daily use.

This program within the company is perfect for the management of projects and daily tasks, this tool allows a lot of information not confusing and fast. This program is used by the great majority of employees of the company since it allows them to improve the efficiency in the daily work, avoiding the loss of information and avoids that they forget tasks inside the work. I love making to-do lists to help organize progress throughout the day and through projects. We liked this at first, but over time other apps entered the space and we started to use others in conjunction because they did not require a higher subscription for some of the same features

Notifications should be done in a more intuitive way. There is nothing more that I do not like in this tool. Not any downside to speak of. Employees have dynamic to-do lists and can track productivity and results

Todoist is a pretty powerful app/web app for maintaining lists of any kind. Its reminder and recurring task features are neat innovations in the field of list-management software. Fantastic for setting and tracking tasks. Good for employees and freelancers alike to manage time and workload.

Easy quick task creation function with ability to use assigned shortcut names to assign tasks to projects, priority levels, due dates, and tags. Comments and attachment section is awesome and the next subtask features are great!

Would like to see Evernote's OCR and searchable file attachment functionality in todoist

Managing so many multiple client businesses and projects as an entrepreneur, todoist makes my life feasible

This app has helped me out a lot! I use to write my to do lists on paper and post them around my office and then it got a little overwhelming seeing all the pieces of paper and sticky notes around my desk. The Todoist allows me to categorize and prioritize my to do list, as well as set time schedules and goals for each task. Its simple and easy to use and is also on my computer in site so I don't forget a task while I am on the go. I also like how the app keeps track of how many tasks you have completed and sends you email reminders of tasks that need to be completed.

The only thing I dislike is if I type a note in with any month or date it will automatically schedule it for that month or date and I don't always want that happening. I want to make a note for that month but have it in my upcoming tasks vs. disappearing until it reaches that month and date.

Problems is when the note date gets tagged and misplaced. Benefits is that I have become more organized and more efficient with my tasks.

-wish I could customize the default task names when you "add from email" -wish I could create a "start on" and a "due date" for a task -wish there was an easy way to bulk change due dates

-to-do lists -productivity -prioritization -reminders of personal events (ex. 2 weeks until Dad's BDay) -reminders of professional evens (ex. if you haven't heard back from John yet, follow up) It's saved me soooo much time and keep track of all my tasks. I never forget to do things anymore and am on-top of everything I need to do.

It is practical and simple to use, and it helps me to organize my work time to do my tasks by following up on my activities and projects, since I use this software I distribute my time very well and it gives priority to the most important.

The only thing I don't like about todoist is that it lacks features to be able to share information about tasks.

When you have overdue assignments, Todoist asks if you should reschedule them for yourself. This facilitates the volume that comes with too many pending tasks that must be completed. Todoist motivates me to make my day more productive, organized and finish all my incomplete tasks.

Todoist manages to stand out from the sea of task management tools by quite simply, being the most well rounded and powerful solution of them all. Where others might have an easier and more minimalist UI, they sacrifice power. Or where others may have more features, they often ship with a clunky hard to use UI. Todoist meanwhile sacrifices nothing. And as a cherry on the top, it also has incredible amounts of extensions and integrations with other online services making it integrate into your workflow near seamlessly.

Todoist's biggest limitations at the moment are how limited it's free tier is compared to its competitors, as well as the lack of any kind of kanban board stand in. This is being worked on as the upcoming Todoist Foundations major update, but this would not really solve the free tier pricing model.

Todoist made the often overwhelming task of keeping track of all my pending tasks and responsibilities during the day a breeze. And it's natural processing language recognition engine makes creating detailed, classified tasks a breeze compared to it's competitors.

Todoist is SUCH a user-friendly platform. I love the ability to sort tasks into folders, and I'm smitten with how well the AI is able to pick up on dates/times for deadlines as I'm writing out each task. I also am a huge fan of how reasonable the pricing is for a year of premium. Why WOULDN'T you use Todoist?

There's no good way to "reset" the karma feature. It's cool that they're trying to gamify the process of getting stuff done, but sometimes when I stop using the platform for a while and come back, I want the option to reset my progress.

I'm definitely one of those people who will forget about a task if I don't immediately write it down, and ToDoist is helping me make sure nothing falls through the cracks!

I like how Todoist supports Linux as well as most platforms. It is also very fast. ToDoist has great and simple to use features for a to-do list app. You can create clean to-do lists as well as nested lists. You can also easily share lists with other people.

The biggest issue is no autocomplete. Rival app any.do has an autocomplete feature for grocery lists. This allows you to quickly create a grocery list without fully typing out items. Todoist doesn't have this feature.

I have no complaints about Todoist, the only detail is that its pay version is limited, I really wouldn't recommend it because you can't do almost anything. But your paid version isn't expensive and it's worth it.

Todoist is the easiest way for me to stay organized. I love the 'to-do' in order by date vs. an actual calendar. It's very clean and clear what is past due, due today and what is due in the future.

I wish you could add day of the week or month in the task. Whenever you attempt to add 'Monday' or 'June' Todoist assumes you're setting a due date for a task. It would be nice to add "April Reporting' without the system assuming the task is due in April.

There isn't much to dislike honestly. I guess the one thing I wish it could do was be even more customizable in the date selection. I'd like to be select specific days to of the week to put tasks, like the same task reoccurring Monday and Friday of every week. Right now I could only do every Monday, and then make another task recurring every Friday.

It's the best to do list tool I ever tried. It's simple, fast and I like it. I really appreciate the fact that it's designed to be unobtrusive in my tasks and very minimal. The fact that you can access it via everything (even my Apple Watch) makes it something that I can't just take away from my toolbox anymore. It's amazing.

Nothing. The tool is great. I'd like to keep it like it is forever. I heard from Twitter that they are planning to add more features but I'm super satisfied by the current state of the product. An example is the fact that it's missing a calendar. Honestly I don't feel that this is a big deal for me!

I have a busy life. Todoist makes it less chaotic! I put everything there. From personal to work stuff Todoist helps me staying organized.

I like the simplicity that comes with Todoist. I've used a lot of tools for managing tasks but Todoist combined with Toggl is for me personally best combination for simple and yet powerful task managing and time tracking purposes.

I would like to see canban boards for agile development in Todoist. But other than that I have no complains about Todoist so far and I have been using it for quite a while.

I am using Todoist to track my day to day tasks in software development. I create project for every project that is assign tovme in work and than I create task corresponding to project task. It is very simple way of knowing what I should get done and when.

I really like the minimal dashboard and user interface of Todoist. Other sites have a chunky look, but there is lots of whitespace with Todoist to help you focus and zero in on your tasks. It also loads really quickly due to the simple layout.

There is not much to dislike about Todoist, especially when you can sign up for free to start. If I had to pick one thing, I guess I would like the ability to attach a photo or logo to task headings / project headings instead of just reading a text heading.

I'm now able to keep all my notes and to-do lists in one area that is easily accessible from desktop or mobile. Also, I can reorder my tasks under each todo list heading based on priority. It allows you to set deadlines, but I prefer to just drag and drop my tasks based on the deadlines and how important it is for each project.

One of the features I like most is that when you add a youtube link as a note it saves it as the title of the video rather than "youtube.com/watch?v=...".

I have to wait 5 seconds after writing a note to be able to close the tab/window so it saves.

This software is a godsend. I use this for those passing discussions with team members where they request the smallest thing that would otherwise be forgotten. As hectic as the working day is it creates structure and allows you to plan each day how to prioritise.

I actually can't think of a negative. They are just a task manager. They did so good, I wish they did other things as well like into CRM or such?

I used at least 6 or 7 different task managers and all in all... I'm always back to Todoist. It's the simplest, yet complex, with all the features neede + great design and seamless sync + multiple integration possibilities. The best out there.

There is nothing I dislike in Todoist. Really.

It's the best way to organize my daily/weekly/monthly/yearly plans without actually focusing on the system but through easy possibilities to adapt the system to my needs.

1. Having the ability to organize projects in multiple levels is super useful 2. Natural language is so amazing .. I can't remember a time when I used my mouth in this tool. You can write whatever you want and todoist will translate that into relevant date and time 3. Project colors is something important for me to distinguish projects / areas 4. You can write your tasks using the markdown as well 5. Labels are one of the most important corner stones of any task management system and Todoist done this beautifully 6. Filters are one of the best features in Todoist 7. Today and Next 7 Days view are so important in my day flow 8. Integration between Google Calendar and Todoist in 2 way sync is WOW 9. Recurring tasks are so important in my flow it gives me the power of not forgetting something which needs to be done periodically. Amazing feature. 10. Postponing a task specially if it was recurring is amazing and smart. 11. Easy to add labels / projects on the go if they don't exist in first place

I am able to assign tasks to multiple team members. I can add lengthy notes to each task. This enables me to save time from having to contact them by phone to explain things. The list created becomes an agenda for meetings or calls. It is easy to create new projects and team members that tasks can be assigned to.

I wish I could move due dates to a new date or team member by a bulk method.
