There’s a new addition in the website builder scene that claims to operate like a graphic design tool.
WebWave is a comprehensive website builder that lets users create professionally-designed websites even without a technical background or a hefty budget. But as with any tool, it’s not completely flawless. In this WebWave review, we’re taking a closer look at how the platform works, its features, and its capabilities.
Let’s check it all out in this WebWave review.
WebWave is a true drag-and-drop website builder that offers an intuitive and straightforward interface, making it easy to create a website without any coding knowledge. WebWave’s interface more closely resembles a graphic design tool than any other website builder, which makes WebWave stand out from the myriad of options available in the market today. With its range of features and tools, including the ability to create online stores, blogs, templates, HTML input, e-commerce, domain names, and permissions, WebWave is a website builder that could certainly be worth considering. Additionally, WebWave places great emphasis on development, with updates released twice a week to enhance its website builder capabilities.
Because WebWave’s interface is built to offer a distinct departure from traditional grid-based editors, it provides users with the flexibility to move and position objects anywhere on the canvas. This layered approach, not unlike most graphic design platforms, allows for easier customization of elements, aided by rules, and automatic object snapping to ensure alignment.
Additionally, WebWave offers a range of features and tools that make it easy for users to create websites, including SEO, hosting, templates, HTML input, e-commerce, domain names, and permissions. Those interested in trying out the users can sign up for a free account on the WebWave website and begin building their website immediately. WebWave offers a free account option, enabling users to build and publish a functional website at no cost. This trial experience allows potential users to assess whether the platform suits their requirements before considering any paid plans.
WebWave’s entire interface is built on the idea that web building can be easier. To that end, WebWave’s distinct dashboard and functionality ensure users access an easy-to-navigate settings panel that is customizable specifically to fit their preferences and needs.
WebWave enables users to optimize their websites for various screen sizes by simulating different viewports through the adjustment of canvas handles in both the editor and preview modes. This feature allows for independent positioning of page elements, ensuring that the website appears visually appealing on a desktop, tablet, and mobile devices alike.
With WebWave you can create an interactive website with which your visitors can interact.
You can choose from a range of interactions:
To create innovative object behaviors and visuals that prolong your visitor’s interest and communicate your message in a more memorable way.
WebWave offers a selection of design choices, incorporating animation capabilities like the Parallax effect and Ken Burns. This allows for the development of visually appealing effects, without necessitating additional CSS or JavaScript resources.
WebWave enables the selling of digital products in various markets, ranging from local to global. The platform makes the process of creating and selling these products multiple times quite manageable, thanks to the automation features it incorporates. This aspect contributes to a user-friendly experience overall.
The platform allows users to establish personalized email inboxes tailored to their businesses, such as [email protected]. This functionality enhances the professionalism and credibility of an online store, offering a significant advantage.
With WebWave, you can create a blog where businesses can easily self-publish posts with graphics and videos, tailored for your customers/users.
Multiple tests have shown that websites created using WebWave tend to rank higher in Google search results than those built with other, more well-known website builders. WebWave’s integrated SEO checker and suggestion tool can help users enhance their page SEO scores, allowing them to surpass their competitors and boost their site’s organic ranking in search results.
Hosting and maintaining hundreds of thousands of user-created websites from around the world is a significant responsibility for WebWave. To ensure that these websites remain online 99.9% of the time, WebWave’s servers are closely monitored on a 24/7 basis, which helps to provide a reliable online presence for the websites hosted on their platform.
WebWave’s true drag-and-drop website builder offers a unique and easy website-building experience by giving users the liberty and versatility to place, resize, and style elements on their web pages. Such functionality allows for the creation of custom designs and layouts with ease. Additionally, WebWave supplies an array of design elements, including pre-built sections and widgets, which can be effortlessly incorporated into a website with just a few mouse clicks. WebWave’s user-friendly design interface, extensive features, and distinctive design approach set it apart from competing website builders. For those seeking a website builder with an accessible design interface and abundant customization choices, WebWave is worth considering.
If you’re looking for a website builder that strikes a balance between ease of use and customization options and has a graphical interface, WebWave may be worth considering. WebWave is a comprehensive website builder that offers a range of features and tools that will work well for you if you have some previous experience building websites or using a graphics editor. One of the most significant benefits of WebWave is that it is an excellent option for both beginner and expert online store or blog owners who don’t need any coding knowledge. With WebWave, anyone with no coding knowledge can easily design a website. We recently tested WebWave and were surprised by its significant differences from other builders, making it a unique and noteworthy option for those looking to build a website.
In summary, if you’re looking for a website builder that offers a familiar interface, with extensive customization options without needing coding knowledge, WebWave should definitely be on your radar.
I like how sample the design is and it also comes with a very detailed video tutorial to guide me on every step. If you have a little experience with website building then it will be pretty straightway to get the points. The templates are also a big plus, I can easily edit them to make my own site in less than an hour.
I think if they can make the left-hand side menu with a few texts below the icons instead of purely icons will make the process clear especially for first-time users. Cause if I want to know what icon is for what function I need to move over to the icon, sometimes could be a little bit frustrated. But after I got familiar with the platform it will be okay.
Webwave helps me speed up the site-building process and I don't need to worry about the hosting as well. All the templates are mobile-friendly which makes me more confident about my traffic and ranking on google.
The User Interface is a bit complicated but contains all the features and functions needed. No coding skill is required. We can focus on design and the design process is quite fun. We can adjust and control all the elements of the web easily with WebWave and I like the richness of the elements available in WebWave.
I did not find anything to dislike about this software
I am not a coder to build a website. so this tool helps me a lot. I can build website very easily using this drag and drop web builder
- easy to use, very simple to pick up - good for newbies but powerful enough for more experienced web devs - packed template library with good variety - free SSL
- Expect a learning curve for the bit more advanced tools in order to utilise the platform to the max
I'm able to create websites on the go - quick, intuitive and functional.
Drag and Drop. Interface Templates No coding required Building my own website was my dream. But was lacking tech knowledge. This site gave me confidence to build it
Mobile app would be mor useful to work on the go for imp modificatiins. Page loading should be much faster. Add more payment gateways including gpay. Countries like India prefer gpay and phonepe.
Till now I hav to depend on tech person to modify or change any content and that too it doesn't meet my taste. I myself couldn't do as I not good at coding. This site makes all that easy fo me without depending on anyone.
Webwave is a popular saas website builder that offers a variety of features and tools to help you build high-quality, secure websites. Some of the pros of using Webwave include: 1. User-friendly interface – The Webwave interface is easy to use, even for first time builders, making it a great choice for those new to webbuilding. 2. Wide variety of templates – Webwave offers a wide range of prebuilt templates and themes that can be customized to easily create unique websites. This makes it an ideal platform for starting out as well as more experienced web builders who want quick and easy access to many readymade designs. 3. Affordable pricing - direct competitors charge way more than Webwave does. It's also incredibly agency-friendly, with dedicated features for agencies and a really small price for what it offer.
The main downside of using WebWave is finding an expert who knows how to use the tool can be difficult. Additionally, because WebWave is a web-based platform, it may not be compatible with some IT systems. Expanding the basic capabilities of the platform is impossible without a deep knowledge of multiple coding languages, and this may be a big drawback for those used to Wordpress and its plugins.
It's a great web builder, so I'm using it to build simple websites, but I'm also considering using it for agency purposes since it can be white-labeled and offered to my clients with my own branding.
I like the SEO feature where many other builder does not come with, this builder is robust
There is a learning curve to it, need to spend some time to learn the builder
This builder is solid and it can create a ssl by itself, unlike other builders where we need to spend a naggy amount of time hooking up a ssl to the site. This is great for business owners and easy and stable platform for agency to make sites for their clients
The responsiveness using different devices. Aesthetic design that are available for free. Easy to use the interface for non technical people. Very well designed.
There is nothing that i don't like as far. I think it is a very nice and interesting builder for people who does not know how to code.
I am a marketer who works a lot with website and it help me create landing page design easily for my clients.
Webwave is intuitive, therefore just by blocks and templates I am able to create websites for my target customers fast and easy. What I like most about it (except the amazing price) is the fact that I can collaborate in real time with my customers and receive feedback. In this way, I am making sure that I am not wasting time with wireframes and other stuff like that.S
The interface should focus on the most used features and those should be extra-bold, and more easily noticeable. I mean, most small business owners are not really designers, they want fonts, lots of templates and simple drag and drop. They might notice the part of the importance of the order of layers if they are rested, but more probably they just want to click on something and just have the most usual functions appear in a small pop-up bar and that's about it. This is what I would bring forward in this already mature product.
Creating beautiful websites with simple drag and drop functionality for clients that are mostly non-technical and want to offer their input live, where their collaboration is paramount
The sign-up process was very good and light. The one thing I like about the editor (website edition) is how it looks. It gives the vibe of a pro similar to webflow but has better robust drag and drop features.
There could be some animation templates for inspiration.
It is providing me CMS at no extra cost for hosting my site.
its builder and dashboard is easy to use and navigate and saves lots of time
pricing could have been better and would need more elements
i have to make lot of websites and landing pages for my client and it saves lots of my time with readymade design
I've been using WebWave for just over 2 months and I'm delighted with all the tool's possibilities. In my opinion, it's better than many others on the market because it has features that I haven't seen before, such as: it turns the website into a simple browser application. And it's the only one (that I know of so far) that offers the free option to add HTML tags. Not to mention the service that is always very fast and live in the chat that needs no comments. More than excellent!
Unfortunately, the lack of possibility to configure DNS directly on the panel is something very annoying! But that all the benefits pay off. For this reason I can't give the maximum score. And also of not meeting my language (Portuguese) yet.
WebWave exceeded my expectations regarding the always available service. This differential is what I cherish the most. And that's why I believe it is the best benefit, in addition to the excellent quality of the builder.
It is very easy to design the website exactly the way you want it to display.
Specifically for the Agency Plan, not being able to automatically generate a client account on sign up.
Create accounts for clients who want a website that allows them to drag and drop and design the website easily without any technical/plugin issues.
Webwave is one of the most user friendly site builders ever. But don't be fooled by the ease of use. Webwave is also one of the most powerful and precise builders as well. Tha ability to place every element and item with laser accuracy is something I have never experienced before. There are others who claim similar abilities, but none that deliver in such a user friendly interface. Bottom line is that Webwave is an amazing package deal from single website owners all the way up to agency builders. Collaboration is a snap as well as billing and approval workflows. Hosting is top rate and very affordable too.
A bit of a learning curve, but that is to be expected with any advanced tool. If you have any experience with PhotoShop or any of the big graphic editors out there, the interface will feel familiar.
Webwave has given us the ability to add agency clients without any limits. Once we exceed our package number of hosted sites we can simply add more as needed, under very favorable terms.
Webwave opens new custom webpage construction, which is basically impossible with WordPress or other drag and drop builders. Webwave also delivers .com name services connected easily with your pages. There are some basic infos such as page statistics, and SEO tool. You will get email address with the package. You can customize the page look to be something totally different than mainstream boring www-sites. There should be an automatic backup for pages and other quite excellent tools embed already.
You may have other SaaS tools which require storing json and js components into the root folder. This is not possible with Webwave unfortunately. Also php code to be stored to the backend is not possible. For these reasons, the match with other Java script tools usually working with WWordPress or other page builders may be a better choice.
Take this tool if you like to build more customized look for your homepage. There are cms for different languages, which helps a lot for translations. Also you may adjust page view in windows/tablet and phone.
Everything you need to launch a website, great designs, blogging feature, shop feature, email. You can purchase URLs as well, but I've generally purchased elsewhere and then pointed them to WebWave.
If you fully integrate the domain name you're unable to manage DNS settings and add things like CNAMEs. There should be the option to be able to manage these settings in the admin dashboard.
Create a great-looking site very quickly in an uncomplicated way. Great if you're looking to start a web design agency as it has a customer feedback system and the entire setup can be your brand so they don't see WebWave branding.
The ease of use , and its versatility . engagement with clients also is a very attractive functionality
So far I have not discovered any downsides to using the web builder yet .
Being able to get website designs out to clients quicker and grant them access
Visual, hands-on tool for any web designer. Easy to set up and maintain.
Some UI needs polishing. There's no option to lock the layer in place, e.g. a button or a banner.
You don't need a coder to build a beautiful, highly-interactive website and have your own email service under your own domain.
-complete control -simple enough to use, (simpler interface than photoshop, more complex than microsoft word) -very, very comprehensive in configuration possibilities -starting wizard -ability to configure everything from webwave including hosting
-servers not yet present worldwide but getting there -paid export site (but this is also the case for competitors) -some commands require a small learning curve
I can create one or more drag and drop sites like in any graphics programme or in microsoft word, there are templates but you can start from scratch. Sign in and start immediately, simpler than wordpress but with infinite possibilities that platforms like wix do not have. Saves a lot of time.
Ability to create a custom template without having to learn code.
Having to pay extra to export the embed code.
As a publisher, I want to help our authors create unique landing pages to promote and sell their books. I've just started using WebWave, but I am confident it will meet my needs.
