Zoho Cliq is a team communication and collaboration tool that allows you to chat, share files, and track tasks in real time. Its integration with other Zoho applications and its AI-powered search feature give it a significant advantage over the competition. Other great features include audio and video conferencing, a mobile app, and customizable workflows for streamlining team processes.

it is very easy to use and best features
support team of zoho takes more time to resolve the challanges.
inter-domain accessible communication with file share and calling helps reducing efforts and time and boost productivity while avoiding open web platforms.
The interface is simple but powerful. It is very easy to create groups and chat in general is a replacement for email within a company for many many situations. Cliq will integrate with other apps in the Zoho system, but also has an API, web hooks, and bots that make it easy to create your own integrations and automation. Compared with Slack, I think that Cliq has superiority in its simplicity. I feel like messages and conversations can get lost in Slack, whereas in Cliq you can more easily see what's new.
There's nothing to dislike here. I am using Cliq as part of Zoho One, so it's included in the total package at no cost. There are probably fewer ready-made integrations when compared to slack, but it is very easy to use either Zapier or Zoho Flow to create your own integrations.
1. Central spot for notifications. No more emails generated to notify when orders come in or quote requests come in, these can all be sent to a particular Cliq channel where I can monitor. 2. Internal communications. It's much easier to use than email for exchanging short messages like status updates with colleagues. The history is saved and searchable. You can throw in videos, images, or other media right in the chat. Multiple parties can view communications without having it "sent" to them (a replacement for cc in email) Even with only 2 or 3 people using the application it's still a great method. 3. Built in audio and video chat. Quickly go from a text chat to a video call without needing to open another application. History of this call goes right in the chat. 4. Status. You can see employees' availability for communication in a glance.
This addition to the Zoho family has been a great asset to the entire company. We've been able to file share, create groups, and even stay connected via the app on personal cell phones.
Setting up new members has proven to be a little difficult. It would be better if there was a way to add in new employees through administration accounts.
Keeping everyone efficiently connected and making it easier than ever to ask questions and get answers in real time.;
I'm able to meet for meetings from home, and communicate to others in other offices. able to see presentations, while not physically there.
The dropping of calls, and difficulty hearing others.
having a confidential line when calling.
Zoho Cliq allows members of a team to collaborate, even if all of the team members are not present.
Zoho Cliq is very handy for group projects, but now that most people have smart phones, it is almost just as easy to start a group message over text.
If all members cannot attend a group meeting, Zoho Cliq allows everyone to still collaborate. It also eliminates the need for a large group message on people’s personal cellular devices.
Very simple to use by a downloding software, then IT able to access any computer and resolve issues. Great for group-meetings too when working remotely but on one project.
Sometimes download takes a while, but that might be a slow computer. Also if it was an app for faster access, I would appreciate it.
IT problems, we use Zoho so iT can access computers and correct issues after gaining control. It seems secure and its easy online link we use to connect
I really like how you can combine different forms of communication - DMs, group messages and video chat. The channel features also help organize our different project teams
The mobile site can be difficult to use an seems to crash a lot.
Really helped our teams organize better - we have members in two different offices and more who work from home.
A quick and convenient way to communicate with teams, especially those who work remotely
Can't think of anything - didn't have any problems whilst using
Clear and quick communication
I like the fact that It is a cross-platform service and can be used on Web, Linux, MacOS, and Windows. It even comes with mobile apps for Android, iPhone. Easy to get started and helps tremendously with collaboration between team members.
The integration with other products does not seem very staraight forward. May when I use it for longer than that will become easier.
Efficient collaboration between team members!
It helps us to know ... if we can do anything with messages and to connect with users
We certainly don't want you to know about it
It's good to know that you can get the same results with your own method
Some ux features is realy useful. Everyone can use it.
The User Interface is not good enough to fit nowadays trend.
Collaborating with my team and company
How easy it integrates with Zoho mail. not having to go to the site directly
not able to have a meeting with an external person via a link without register
We had an uptake in staff we needed to find a way to have internal communication and also help with the remote work checks.
It's very easy to use. People figure out and learn how to use it within a few minutes all on their own. There is no learning curve; I have seen people coming from other chat applications and quickly learning how to use Cliq. The price point is another plus point. It does the same thing as slack but is infinitely better and integrates well with other Zoho apps from the Zoho ecosystem. This integration helps with alerts; if a new lead is created, you can trigger a message on Cliq. All these features make it possible for everyone in the team to be on same page and pass on messages extremely quickly.
There isn't much to dislike, but the place we faced issues was the psychological friction people had in moving from slack to cliq. Although cliq has almost all the features that slack has, getting everyone to move from space to cliq was a major challenge. For some reason, people were very against this change; Most people who have already used slack were so used to it, that switching to cliq required effort and I guess they felt cliq's UI a bit clunkier than slacks.
Zoho Cliq is providing us with a means to collaborate with our colleagues efficiently by helping us share messages, documents, etc. It benefits us immensely as the entire organization communicates with each other through the app and stays on top of anything happening in and around the organization.
Cliq is fairly easy to use once you learn how to. The fact that it is mostly seamless between Desktop and Mobile is nice. Built-in video and audio call as well as screen share is handy.
Cliq makes working with people outside your organization very difficult. You have a limited amount of guest access passes and then you have to purchase licenses for them to use. This is a major downside for working with offshore resources or contractors.
Cliq streamlines communication in-house by having each of its modules connected. This is inherently useful just for linking various things together. Being able to chat, call and screen share and even share files on one platform is nice.
I strongly recommend Cliq for team work, as it allows you to quickly share files, create closed groups for each project, open work groups and much more
Syncing with the desktop app often doesn't work
Connection with colleagues in one place and separeted groups project
Cliq allows you to communicate with all of your colleagues in one place.
In order to click a conversation that is further down your list, you have to click "show all" which opens another tab. That can be kind of annoying from a user experience standpoint.
I'm able to stay in touch with colleagues no matter where I'm working from. The mobile app is especially helpful as I'm often on-the-go.
Messaging out is quick, and responding is quick also.
Search function and navigation can be difficult at times to follow.
Quick communication with fellow employees. I don't have to find them to ask a question. Or they may answer a question when they are in and I am not.
/ (slash) commands and instant call feature are very helpful. Clean UI and data privacy that comes with Zoho makes it a better choice compared to slack
Sometimes slow and messages load late, performance can be improved
Team internal collaboration is simplified and it connects well with existing Zoho products and acts as a unified medium of communication
I like that it was built right into the software package that we were using already and made it convenient to be in a case and then collaborate with the team.
There was an overall lack of functionality and design constraints that didn't suit well for cross-department collaboration.
We were using it mainly for one department communication, so inner team and it was fairly convenient for us to utilize.
