I find the simplicity of the tool the most helpful because it made it very easy to get started and begin using the tool without a lot of upfront work.
I dont know that there are many downsides - it is a straightforward organizational tool.
This has been a great way to get out of using a spreadsheet to organize the information and it enables us to also make use of the App.
The software is really user friendly. I like the fact I can create clean formatted CV, it helps me in my business development.

It was simple to start, no hassle and no annoying spam emails. It seems to be easy to use and to adjust to your working method.

Reduce time in selection process for new employees in our organization
The design is very intuitive and self-explaining. It's a great overview for all running processes. You can see easily what's currently going on and can do follow-ups within the app.
I use a lot the search function, especially when I get a maybe new candidate or client. The search function is working great but if I don't find the person and want to add it then I have to close the search bar before I can add a new entry. It's inconvenient for me.

The implementation is very easy! I've been able to set-up and customize basic features with no assistance. I look forward to learning more in depth about capabilities and ways to apply them to my practice.
The backend isn't as pretty as others I've used and integrating it with job posting places (like ZipRecruiter, my site and Indeed) aren't as intuitive as I was hoping. I'll need soem technical help.
So far, I've been able to centralize all activities and the resuem formatter and custom/auto email features have already saved so much time!

It is simple to use and user friendly. Every recruiter needs a CRM to work from and as a new business to keep the costs down while I make some money this is an excellent option for me
When Zoho has been logged into all day during the afternoon (late afternoon) it will run a little slow. There should be a quick manual to show the how use the key features and when people have time they can access the longer session to watch or join into.

I love the customer chat support as they're available 24/5 which is important to us.
I did not like not being able to use the SMS feature in any level package I chose to go with, it's a 3rd party app which should be available on all packages.
We hire all over so having a CRM to manage all applicants is key. I loved Zoho's Workflow as it makes everything easy and automated.
I really liked the user experience and the automations that the system brings, it is interesting how it filters the candidates according to previous evaluations, although even that functionality is not too automated and the process is quite manual.
I did not like integrations with other recruiting platforms very much, for Mexico there were very few job boards attached. In addition, it is not possible for candidates to integrate directly into the client's portal, having to necessarily accept all candidates even if they comply with the previous evaluations.
We are a human resources company. We have seen benefits in digitizing our process and making it more transparent for the client.
I have researched at a lot of HR/ATS systems in a short period of time for a new startup client with less than 50 FTEs BUT in the progress of fast growth. Zoho Recruit is not the best but could become the best even competing with LinkedIn's Talent ATS.
It's a lot to learn in order to customize to a client's needs, and the training isn't great but it is decent enough to get the job done with time.

The interface is not aesthetically pleasing, it is dull compared to others. Also, there were no questionnaires provided for candidates
We used Zoho recruit as our Applicatio Tracking system. It managed our work flow and also for candidate interaction. We used it to find candidates and import their resumes and manage the interaction with them through the entire recruitment process.
Simple to use. Resume importer/parser is awesome! Easy to customize like adding or removing fields. Supports recruiting on different job boards and then importing into Zoho so that all my applicants are in one place to manage.
Have to fiddle with browser magnification level to get screen to look good. Candidate filtering by date fields doesn't seem to work, at least not in the way implemented.
Tracking multiple applicants across multiple job boards. Being able to use just a single ATS rather than multiple tools that only work within each job board's account.
Started using Zoho as a free ATS to test and one thing for sure, it's a damn good ATS with load of customization's and options that is very much required by the recruitment team and top level management team to keep a tab of what is going on.! The analytics are good and saves time while customer support is amazing!
The resume parsing is a bit slow and takes lot of time, no option to multiple parse sets of resumes so that they can be parsed to database one by one
Creating a tallentpool and identifying them from database as per the requirement is easy with Zoho, saves lot of time and the ability to pipeline gives added advantage
The fact that it is customize-able and it allows a job board with login capabilities.
Features, add a more streamlined on-boarding/connect to Zoho People

I wish Zoho had not gotten rid of the ability to automatically add LinkedIn information. Now a separate field needs to be created.
