I think this is a great application for designers who want to make vectors, shapes and corporate stationery. If you are an illustrator and love create new things, this is for you. It is easy to use, customer friendly and very dynamic to do many things, even if they are not just vectors, you can use photographs, export to different formats such as cutter and plotter.

Sometimes have issues and the program closes unexpectedly. The program sometimes make more slow my computer and my others programs. Sometimes it does not respect the keyboard configurations used

create logotypes and designs with shapes and strokes which are light and easy to send to our clients.

Adobe Illustrator is a great tool to work with in the Creative Cloud. It's a must-have if you work in InDesign or Xd, the software works well together and makes it easy to import.

It does take a while to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator - as there's so much you can do. But if you take the time to really learn it, you'll love it.

I use Adobe Illustrator to work on images that I'm importing into other files - it yields better results. I find that because it works so well with the other Adobe suite products, I'm able to be more efficient.

Adobe Illustrator has been one of the best tools when it comes to illustration artworks. The best about Illustrator is it's really good for logo designs, quick wireframe designs, and preparing design guidelines. The wide range of inbuilt tools makes it easier to work with.

In terms of features, Adobe Illustrator has almost all the fundamental tools. So there is nothing much to complain about. But as an improvement Adbobe should consider having cloud storage sync with 3rd parties such as google drive, iCloud, etc.

As a software solution provider at our organization, we are using Adobe Illustrator for mainly wireframing and style guideline designs. With the help of Illustrator, we were able to provide the best possible designs and the accuracy of the end product to our clients. Also with the help of Adobe Creative Cloud, we were able to collaborate between teams as well.

I use it for simple hand-drawn elements as well as logo ideations! I love that I can copy& paste into indesign & sketch/figma.

with vector - the best benefits are able to really dive into the details of the vectors points. You can make the cleanest designs before implementing wihtin other programs

When it comes to creating vector-based graphics, few tools can compare to Adobe Illustrator. Illustrator makes creating logos and other graphics straightforward, due in part to the advanced interface that provides several tools for graphic designers.

There isn't much that I dislike, although I wish there were more comprehensive training videos available. Because the software can be so complex and advanced, it's difficult to understand the software fully.

It is very CPU consuming; the size of the apps is about 2GB that makes the computer run slow.

I like the user interface and toolbar options. It allows for one to set up the workspace however one prefers. Many tools allow for a range of creativity and the more I learn, the more I am able to do.

There is a bit of a learning curve. Something are not so intuitive , such as the gradient tool. It took a while for me to get to the competency that I am at currently.

Adobe Illustrator is a complicated and challenging program to use if you are self-taught. I would recommend taking a class or an online course.

Illustrator is great to use for design and logo creation. It also speaks to other adobe programs, so you can copy your design from illustrator straight into your brochure or flyer design in Adobe Indesign or Photoshop.

When original files are vector lines, Illustrator can easily recognize individual lines - these lines can then easily be removed or moved. This is very helpful when we are working with architectural plans in PDF format from other firms. Illustrator sometimes carries the original layers of drawings from CAD programs.

It is very easy to forget what layer you are working on. Color libraries are not easy to find.

This software allows you to export different formats for print and for digital. I do web design an this is my go to for custom graphics. Vector formats make it easy to export in different sizes too.

It is a little computer intensive. If you try to open large files, it can bog down your machine. It is also very heavily tied to the adobe suite so it works great in that environment.

It's fantastic because it has a vector platform. We can re-size it to any size without changing its quality. And it is best to make logos; I have designed a logo for my company. It is a little bit difficult, but you can learn it quickly.

Adobe illustrator gives you print ready files so it saves time when printing flyers and posters. It's a lot easier and cheaper to give the print service a file that's ready to print, instead of waiting for them to do that.

Graphically it has taken our business to the next level. We look so much more professional now that we can create our own graphics that make us look and feel the part.

You can make high-quality images due to the multiple brush types (paintbrush tool, blob brush tool) and features for drawing shapes (curvature tool, anchor point tool).

Less intuitive to use than tools like powerpoint. For example, to get special 3D effects for an object, there are multiple axes that you can rotate around and multiple parameters that you have to test out and try to visualize (i.e. very technical for someone without drawing experience).

I'm making a figure to tell a story. I like how there are many options for what I can make (Adobe is not simply a drag and drop tool or a template-based tool).

I wanted to use Illustrator to draw items for fantastical portraits that I create. Sometimes I don't have access to photograph everything that I need in the portrait and I wanted to use Illustrator for that purpose. Unfortunately, when I print these portraits out big (at least 60") the portion of the portrait that I created using illustrator doesn't come out with the same quality as the rest of the portrait. So I had to find other software for that purpose.

The software is a bit heavy resulting in the minimum requirement of a high-end system.

Illustrator helps me create versatile designs. It has various tools that make my process easier once I got used to it. It helps me design vectors and graphics designs for my clients.

The menuing system now mirrors all of the other major Adobe products... so it is seamless [more or less] to go from one product to another product. It also makes it very nice to add "extensions/plugins" that might useful adaptable to other Adobe products.

There remains a steep learning curve for anyone just starting out. It is difficult to teach to... but if you have ever taken a drawing course or [interesting enough] a mechanical drafting course... then the adoption rate is much quicker. They also need more step-by-step tutorials... the "floating cursor tutorials are good but there are folks that want to "get it" but do not have the basics down.

I like it to draft things out... and to work on layers that require a.lot of detail on each layer. While it has allowed an ePencil/pen to be used in the past... the newest versions of these ePens allow the user/designer to work within Illustrator with ease. In addition, the erase flow is so nice...
