The file often gets too large to handle. You would need an excellent graphics computer.

Photoshop is one of those tools that just does what you need. Sure they're adding newer features all the time to keep up competitively, but often I'll be needing something done, try a free online tool, and realize that Photoshop could have done it faster and easier.

Photoshop can be incredibly slow at some points, especially with large images, or lots of layers, so it is important to have a capable machine. They also have a very lackluster Android ecosystem, neglecting a whole portion of their audience.

Photoshop allows me to creatively express myself in my personal works, as well as meet the needs of the program that I market for. Canva and other competitors can create catchy and instant results, but they are nowhere near as versatile and refined as Photoshop.

Pro capabilities - good learning tools - great results for our graphic designs. PS has great flexibility and ability to create all kinds of designs and graphics. Very effective for us when creating graphics for posters, instagram, social media, professional publications, and more.

Constant lengthy updates. Changed menu "look" - now it is so small it is very difficult to navigate. I started long ago with PS and liked some of the integrations (like the "bridge") that are no longer available in the same way.

I like the robust tools that allow me to make my images pop. Also, you can do the same thing in many different ways and customize your tool presets to automate photo editing.

The only thing I don't like is that you lose resolution permanently if you shrink an asset in Photoshop. But you can always go into History and get it back. It just adds extra steps.

With the help of Photoshop, I can take a low res image and increase its resolution. I love the Blending Options in the layers menu as well. So many options to help an image pop.

I really love the task bar on the side, with the range of tools that it offers. This program is incredibly straightforward, so anyone can use it with the right mindset. It is also optimized very well for any PC configuration.

Once again, as with other Adobe products, I really dislike the subscription based model. I wish you could just buy the software outright.

The tools on the design screen should not be fixed to be adjustable because they can be mistakenly canceled, and the means for work will disappear unless you go to the setting and bring it back. It delays work and makes you uncomfortable, especially when you don't know where to do it.

I've been using Adobe Photoshop for about a decade now, and I have to say that this software built my graphic design career. Doing creative photo manipulation and invitations here we're a breeze. It took me a day to learn the basics and a week to learn all the tools in Photoshop. My first use of Pen Tool was terrific, and up until now, I think it's a blessing for us as graphic designers to have this tool making photo editing with messy backgrounds or objects easier to manipulate.

Nothing much besides a rare app crash, but it may vary from the device, and they always fix it from the next patch. But everything is smooth to use. I'd recommend it overall.
