Buffer is really easy to use. We especially like the integration with the browser. Whenever we see relevant content to share, we just click a button and we're ready to post that content to all our social profiles.
When you need to delete or reschedule a post, you need to go to the dashboard and edit the post once for each social profile that you have. I wish I could simply delete or edit a post once for all social profiles.
We're a microcompany, so we can't afford to have a dedicated community manager for our social profiles. Buffer enables us to stay on top of our social channels with a minimum effort.
I love the smart posting time feature that calculates when your posts are most engaged with by your audience. I also like being able to schedule posts for weeks in advance, so my social media accounts are active without me even thinking about it.
I would like to see Instagram added to the list of available account types, but I understand that's an issue from Insta's end.
I'm building my presence on social media with very little time invested. I can browse relevant content on feedly, add it to my Buffer queue, and schedule links for the next month quickly and easily.
Buffer's set-it-and-forget-it capabilities. I don't have time to be scheduling everything, or manually separating my shareable items, so letting Buffer do that work for me is important. The other thing I like is the simplicity and ubiquitousness. One click on the browser extension brings up the share sheet, if I have text selected it auto-fills that into the post.
I wish the scheduling was dynamic for every day based on my followers' historical usage. Right now you can set recommended times, but I wish I could set chunks of time and it would post at the optimal moment for each chunk during the day. I also wish we could have more analytics and tracking options to know the impact of our social posts in the short and long term.
We don't have a dedicated social media expert in house that can handle this full time, so having the option to quickly set up some posts is key for us. We really need to make the most of our time. If we can spend 5-10 minutes a day making posts and have them set to publish at the best time of day, it helps us a lot.
It's the easiest scheduling tool I have used. Really simple interface, love that you can also add pictures or videos to posts.
The fact that only 10 posts/day are allowed. And I haven't seen the suggestions tab lately, it was quite useful at times.
Scheduling social media posts has become very easy, takes about 15 minutes to add them all for the day.
- It has a great UX - It's easy to use - It's immediate & intuitive. A great solution. Recommended for SMEs and professionals, freelancers.
Limited social media. It's no possible to use with Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo. I hope some new features will be integrated in this fantastic tool.
One place to manage, monitor, analyze social media. The greatest benefit is the time saving, using Buffer I saved many working hours in planning social media marketing campaigns and monitoring. I recommend the "Awesom" plan. A good price for a great social media product.
Buffer is one of my favorite tools to use when managing a company's social media. I've consistently used the tool for various companies for the past several years. One of my favorite things about Buffer, other than being able to easily schedule tweets, is the ability to use the add-on feature through Google Chrome. If I find an article that I would like to post, I can click the add-on Buffer button in the top right-hand corner and add the page to my queue. I usually have several tabs open with potential articles, so this feature makes it easy to organize any articles I come by.
If I had to say one thing that I dislike about Buffer, it would be that you can only add one picture to your Twitter updates.
Buffer has worked very well for me and my colleagues. I've introduced Buffer to a few companies and they've had no problem learning how to use the social media tool. It's also nice to be able to see what everyone has added to the queue.
It's dead simple. I recommend it to everyone I know who works in Communications. As a company I'm rooting for them. The suggested post work very good also.
Sometimes it doesn't work with the keyboard strokes and or accounts get disconnected. I wish there we better analytics for the regular paid version, not just business.
It makes posting really simple - I don't have to go into Hootsuite which at times feels cumbersome.
I love the fact that I can use the Buffer chrome extension to easily top off my queue of posts/tweets. I get all of my scheduling done each morning and I have the rest of the day to tend to the rest of my work load.
I wish Google+ was available as one of the platforms. I do not like the limited analytics for the Facebook portion of posts. Why does it not show the number of clicks when links are used and shares?

I really enjoy the analytics that are provided. It gives me the opportunity to see what types of content are working along with best times to tweet. I also like to dive into data and Buffer gives me the chance to spot trends among my community that algorithms sometimes can't.
Honestly, there isn't anything I don't like about it.

I love the set times scheduling (stacking) method they use. As a community manager I found that Buffer helped me accomplish what I wanted in quick time. Their analytics are not bad either
There's an inability to search for particular tweets using geolocation, as with competitors like Hootsuite.

A common concern for B2B sales reps using Social media is time-wasting. With Buffer, a Sales Rep can schedule his/her social shares for an entire week. Come in Monday, select the most relevant content and then fill er um. select which networks get what content and you're done
Can't share to G+, and can't do more triggers like you can with IFTTT

It makes social media scheduling in advance on different platforms at once very easy than manually scheduling.
The unpaid version has limitations to the number of platforms you can use schedule at once. So you want to schedule on multiple platforms more than 3 you will need to do it separately.
This makes the problem of social media scheduling very easy. It makes the process very structured and oraganised for someone to manage. It helps you stay in track with your calendar.

Scheduling posts, social media calender management, setup of multichannel marketings posts, team access to tool. It takes away the pain of posting instantly and also gives the buffer to think creatively while scheduling is being taken care of
Everything! The way it is intuitive and easy to use with the detailed analysis of all the data
The price is too high, but it is worth it. More helpful for large scale agencies
Social media analysis Competitor analysis Social media reporting
Ease of creating a draft for the entire week and scheduling it. This helps to keep the content plan right on track without missing on any deadline and constant tracking
LinkedIn channel integration usually gives out bug or fail to meet the results
Multi-platform management along with deadline management without much manual interference
Buffer has been one of the best and easy social media management software for 11 years. I can easily add my social media channels in just a few steps and schedule posts on all my tracks with one click. I can also start my page to create from here.
Buffer is a good application for managing social media, but it should improve its UI and add more features like RSS feed, Content strategy, etc.
Buffer is a beneficial platform for growing my business through managing social media. I can schedule my posts on all my social media channels. It allows me to Analyze social media post results and engage with their community. I can also plan for my campaign.
Easy social media management, that we could across our team for multiple clients. Good insights and analysis. And nice little touches, like it automatically pulling in pictures from any pages you were linking to - so you didn't have upload them.
In the end we switched to Loomly. There wasn't anything specific we disliked about Buffer we just found that, at the time, Loomly offered better value for money for us to do both scheduling and analytics and also was just a little more user friendly. We have tried a number of services like this - including Hootsuite - and Buffer would have been our choice, had we not preferred the cost and interface of Loomly.
It solves the key problems of a) posting across multiple social media platforms and b) being able to schedule content to go live in the future. It also has lots of handy shortcuts to speed up what we do.
Buffer makes it easy to schedule and post to social networks. You can schedule multiple posts simultaneously on multiple connected platforms. You can also create a calendar, which allows you to specify days of the week and favourite times of day to post to your website.
I had connection problems because from time to time I unlinked some accounts.
It helped to schedule publications for specific times and days of the week.
The best advantage of Digital Marketing is that, that we can keep a track of our campaigns in real-time and can modify them if required. This is the thing where Buffer scores 110/100 and further also helps to get the modification campaigns in real-time.
Nothing as of now. Buffer is good for the folks running a start-up
It saves my time in doing some repetitive posts. The repetitive tasks are well handled by the bots of the Buffer
I loved their freemium plan where I can try them without any time constraints with a single media account. Also, they got a pretty good automated scheduling feature for planning ahead for your monthly social media post calendar Their dashboard is very easy to understand helps me identify daily post metrics at one place without going to their specific social media accounts.
They add masks on links in captions of posts that makes me annoying as it makes fo9llowers confused whether they are clicking on the right link or not. Also, their price is not that affordable even if they provide pretty good features but they sometimes fail their promises. Their scheduling toll sometimes reschedule itself some posts that make my campaigns mismatch on the ground.
I and my team manage clients' social media to make their posts roll on time with campaigns. It helps us manage multiple accounts without any hassle and make us take decisions based on analytics and improve further posts resulting in better engagements.
