I like that MarketMuse is easy to use. It pulls my article via the URL so that I don't have to copy/paste it into the space like other optimizers I've used. Also, it gets results. I've seen articles I've optimized with MarketMuse move up the the rankings.
I think MarketMuse could do a better job of targeting long-tail keywords to include in articles. I feel like there are a lot of LSI keywords and short/broad terms suggested. I'd also like to see an option for optimizing an article that isn't published yet. I'd like the copy/paste option for new unpublished content.
I am optimizing my articles and literally seeing results. I am moving up in the rankings and driving more organic trafiic to my blog. MarketMuse makes it easy to find those LSI keywords.
The best thing about MarketMuse is the kind of in-depth content research it lets you do. It can be a little confusing initially, but once you get the hang of it, you'll know its true worth. I like how nicely MarketMuse tells me exactly what my competitors are doing that's helping them to rank and what I should do to outrank them. It also gives a glimpse of the keyword gaps that helps me rank for keywords my competitors are not targeting.
1. The user interface needs improvement. I'm not saying it's terrible, but it's not the most user-friendly software I've used. 2. MarketMuse had a decent free plan earlier that offered enough for beginners. They have decreased the credits recently, thereby rendering the software pretty much useless for anything beyond testing.
After writing an article, the biggest challenge is to get it to rank. MarketMuse has helped me make sure my article is right up there when it comes to the quality of content required to get to the top of SERPs.
The best thing about marketmuse is its article writing ability and formation of seo friends content. You can easily analyse your content strength and how it will rank on various keyword. It helps you rank in search engine.
Free version has limitation but it's good for beginners.
Market news is helping me to write better content for my blog. It is also helping me to format my block content and optimise it according to search engine requirements. One of the primary benefit is that it saves your time.
The all encompassing research you can do for articles is top-notch. I also love the comparison tool so you can compare your article to other top ranking articles and update accordingly. Great tool, and I can see ranking much easier with this tool
A little costly for some of the features - like credits. You can get by without them by running queries, which I love, I just wish the credit system was a little more cost effective.
Helping to rank on google and providing me with ideas on what to include in articles in order to rank on Google.
This is a great way to write high quality content, while saving some time. The AI engine builds the first draft and then you can get suggestions on how to perfect the article.
It can get costly by using credits for their optimization and content creation services.
I needed to streamline my content creation process.
MarketMuse is easy to use and produces quality content framework.
The credits and usage limits on the plan I am on is confusing
Helps reduce time creating my content strategy & framework
MarketMuse is the only system I've encountered with future-proof content creation metrology that goes behind they keywords, search volumes and basic SERP scan/categorisation. The system is well suited for B2B vendors looking to build their authority and content dominance over less organised competitors.
Some features are not complete and the UX is lacking from what would be expected form enterprise tool (like inability to save OPTIMISE drafts or take in count stemming or lemmatization of content for keywords matching to name a few). Fortunately, MarketMuse team is active and uses customer feedback to shape the roadmap.
MarketMuse is helpful in defining detailed content briefs our writers love to work with. Ability to create the first draft of articles with the AI aids us when we are short in internal capacity.
The keyword search is very accurate and delivers correct results. It is easy for me to navigate the dashboard. Making settings and checking the content is done quickly. The tool always shows me current results of our placement in search engines.
Some settings are hidden and I could only find them after a long search. Nevertheless the support is available here and helped me a lot.
We can improve single content pages but also the general online presence of our company. The keyword search is very good. We can improve our homepage and optimize existing content.
Lionbridge have been working with MarketMuse for over a year, from an initial proof of concept through to now having our content team work directly within the tool creating optimized content in real time. As an SEO expert, the tool is great from an efficiency perspective, the amount of input required to support the content team has gone down and the quality of the content produced is excellent. The level of support we get from MarketMuse is really hands on, tailored training for the SEO team and the content team, weekly meetings during the adoption phase. We now have regular monthly meetings and ad-hoc meetings or training as new features are released.
The only downside is the overhead of training but that effort is quickly offset by the efficiency of getting great content first time.
We are getting more traffic, improving our content by producing optimized content, first time. Leveraging and refreshing our older content. It has also improved our Featured Snippet / Voice performance.
My favorite thing about MarketMuse is it's ability to not only help you optimize content for SEO, but also inform how difficult/easy it will be to rank for certain keywords. It gives you an accurate picture of what topics to focus on and how to prioritize those topics.
You cannot customize the competitor insights based on who your company's direct competitors are.
Brand Awareness: I use MarketMuse to optimize our content for SEO and get higher in the search results. Lead Generation: By creating relevant, optimized content with MarketMuse, we acquire more organic traffic and ultimately leads.
Honestly, the team. Katy Nardozzi is amazing. Exactly who you want helping your clients try to figure out what can sometimes be a complicated platform. And the new dashboard has made it much more user friendly.
Initially, I think the assumption was that because I bought it, I was tech savvy and use this kind of platform all the time. Wrong. It was a little overwhelming at first, and I can't say I think it's easy and I probably only understand 10% of it, but I'm getting there.
Purchased mainly for our clients, we started really using it right before COVID hit. We kind of had to pause for our healthcare clients but are picking up again. I do think it will be valuable for making headway in terms of authority and where clients rank in search. Jury is still out.
MarketMuse is my goto tool for helping me craft quality content. It identifies all the semantically related keywords and quickly shows me how new content stacks up against my competitors. Also, love the monthly consultations they provide. They really want to make sure you are getting the most from the platform and achieve the success they promise in their marketing.
For a small business, it is pretty expensive. However, if I could only afford two SEO tools, this would be one of them. I switched companies and had to wait for a new budget season before resigning up for MarketMuse. It seriously hobbled my workflow and results.
Customer acquisition through lead generation. In the first year after using MarketMuse, we saw a 30% growth in leads from organic search.
We have been using MarketMuse's content analyzer for more than a year now. It has helped us optimize our content and achieve significantly better search rankings.
It's not always clear what specific changes you should make to your content, but I think they are going to address that in their new version.
We are using MarketMuse to optimize our profile pages of publicly-traded companies. Our search traffic has nearly doubled since we started using MarketMuse.
keyword and topic research, as well as the new AI tool that helps write content.
new AI generator is linked to ChatGPT 4, not Perplexity for instance - where every entry is not a seperate command, but a stacked string
generating keyword clusters around seed keywords, researching and optimising content
I like the Optimize feature the most as it gives me data from our competitors and top-performing posts. This feature enables me to quickly tweak my content to make it more appealing to search engines.
15 queries are never enough queries for me.
Content optimization issues mostly. Now my posts perform better.
A great way to improve SEO rankings. The content optimising and keyword research tools provide a great boost.
Quite a steep learning curve. Has taken me a while to fully understand the potential of the software.
Has helped me to update content that previously wasn't ranking. It has also helped me to generate new keywords to target.
You get the exact keywords and FAQs required for your new content topics, which helps you get a higher rank on the search engine. This saves you lots of effort researching search engines and different tools.
Earlier, it was giving you most of the features for free now, they charge for all of their essential features.
It gives you keywords, and content topics hint when you are doing research for your new content topic.
I really like that marketmuse shows keywords to optimize a blog page. These are really handy. I also like that it shows other possible pages to link to on your site.
The biggest thing I dislike is to use the keyword optimizing tool you have to provide a link. I think this is silly because typically I am trying to update a page that does not exist yet and is not published so I have to put in a fake link and then replace the text.
MarketMuse is helping to rank higher for SEO keywords by targeting longtail keywords in comparison to competitors. This is helpful because its difficult to understand what balance of keywords to use.
It saves a lot of time and helps to target what you need. Instead of spending a lot of time here and there, MarketMuse gives you on-point things. I use it a lot to refresh my old articles. All the pieces I had improved using the MarketMuse made a better appearance in search engines and achieved better impressions and rankings. Next, I am going to use these for my new SEO content. It would surely help me to gain an accurate start.
The editor does not save the articles. It doesn't have good keyword research - estimated keyword volume and related keywords are way off the mark. It would be much better if I could find these SEO insights on MarketMuse. For the current situation, I have to use other SEO software so that I can find relevant keywords, and with their volume or difficulty insight, I decide what to write.
While updating my old articles or writing new ones helped me a lot. A human eye and mind can't always catch up with all the things. MarketMuse really helped to reach my SEO targets. If you are using MarketMuse on your website, it will tell you internal links to help connect your current content to your published content. Drop your content in, and MarketMuse ranks it against all my competitors. It creates a content score which lets me know what more to write and cover in my article.
MarketMuse takes the guesswork out of writing posts with an eye to SEO. It helps me write articles containing information people are looking for, as well as the guidance I need to ensure I'm using the most common words people search for. It's a real timesaver and helps to minimize frustration.
Sometimes it seems to be a bit too heavy for my computer to handle having the program/webpage open as well as other pages in my browser. Besides that, it's easy to use and well worth the money!
MarketMuse helps me to target the keywords I need for the topics I'm covering.
