I like how easy it was to set up the platform and get everything working. Very user friendly.

I like that I have had very little need for tech support. It has worked well. There are many detais in VOIP configuration but the user interface is well laid out and relatively easy to use. In the rare case when I did need help, tech support was very responsive and that is important to me.
I wish it were as easy to configure as a POTS landline but that the fault of VOIP, not Nextiva and the trade-off for flexibility and features is worth the extra complexity.
We needed the following: - To provide our customers a toll free number to call in on. - The ability to call out to almost anywhere without excessive toll charges. - Call forwarding. - Voice mailbox - An auto attendant. - The ability to handle calls from either a Polycom VOIP phone or from a PC. All of these benefits are provided by our Nextiva VOIP service.
Overall the user interface is very customer friendly and easy to use. If there is something you cannot figure out, customer support will help you.
Some of the settings are a little finicky, Primary User role seems to be pointless and is glitchy.

Uptime reliability is way beyond what i thought it would be. In my time with NEXTIVA i can count on one hand the amount of time they were down.
To be honest i have not found any downsides.
When i came to this company i made the switch to VOIP for all offices. I spend the same amount per month with NEXTIVA but i have service in not just this office but all 5 of our offices. Once again i spend what i spent on just one office but have service in 5. Amazing
Nextiva has amzing customer support! Couldn't be happier! Patient, knowlegable, happy to help, made sure I understood everything, and made sure they didn't leave till I was completely onboarded.
Contract signing was a little tricky, but not worth saying any bad about it.

The agent that helped me today was probably one of the best customer support agents I have ever experienced. 1) she was intelligent, 2) she treated me like I was intelligent, 3) she was incredibly nice, 4) she was personable, and 5) she knew exactly what to do, got it done, tested it and had me test it out while I was on the phone with her. It was so fast and easie. It did take a while to get to her but she was well worth the wait!
I had problems setting up roles for autoattendant - apparently I was only missing one thing, however, I never saw anything in all my reseasrch that would have helped me to figure that out on my own. The agent who helped me was incredible and got it set up in no time!
We switched to Nextiva because of the cost difference. Though the more I learn the more I realize there are a lot of options to keep teams and businesses up to speed.
The ability to have a phone menu like Press 1 Press 2. This stops most robo calls. Thats why I signed up.
My apps and call history stopped working. You have to be tech savey but your tech support did help with this.
Stopping robocall by having a press 1 press 2 extention menu is the number 1 reason. I look forward to expore the CRM and Google Calender sync options in the future

The onboarding process was quick and easy! They had us up and running in a matter of a few minutes. They made every single step of the process really easy to understand as well.
I can't really say, there hasn't been much to complain about.
It's just overall more cost effecient for us and it's just simplier and makes more sense for us to update with the times and go with the VoIP phone services.
I am very happy with the Nextiva product. I was able to access the texting and voice in Europe on pilgrimage. The app is very easy to use when the cellular works.
I find it annoying that if someone else is trying to call you when you are on the phone, it keeps beeping in your ear for a while (it must beep until they are done leaving a voicemail) Also- it probably does not do this to everyone, but since I have one of the “main” phones- if I am typing, whenever a call comes into the church, my computer freezes and I can’t continue typing until the call in answered.

The support is what we like best upon the platform, easy to use, easy to setup within 30 minutes setting are done I like the app integration for meeting like i can schedule meeting and add them to my Google calendar immediately
