Quickbase is very easy to use and create many apps. It did not take me long to get the hang of it and now I build multiple apps for my company. I love the layout an dease of use.
Some of the graphs/charts are hard to use and create the way I need them to work.
Quickbase helps me track HR Files, Staff, Trials, and New Employees.
1. User-friendly and ease of navigation 2. Easy to learn and replicate 3. Ability to integrate with other tools in the organization - automation aspect 4. Form creation and customization is a win
1. Less customization ability when creating dashboard - canvas space limited, font options/size limited 2. Color-coding interrupts with actual values, when trying to download a report into csv/excel
1. Gives a snapshot of where the business stands 2. Helps with creating flags and risk identification 3. Address labor planning and resource allocation constraints
Maintaining a clean and up to date database has allowed our firm to consistently put together valuable reports in real time for all stakeholders. All reports are customizable and the ability to automate via an API has cut down our time by up to 90%.
Sometimes we need more flexibility or ease of table accesses. We would love the platform to be more user friendly for non-technical employees.
Maintaining up to date information on investments and contact details.
Quickbase is a no-code platform that helps us to develop the application required as per stakeholder needs within a short period and deliver it to them.
There are a few downsides to Quickbase, wherein we have to use code files to develop a few features to add a JS page.
Quickbase is helping us to build applications for customers.
Quickbase is easy to learn and simple to build. It helps much more automation and integration with fast processing power using pipelines. Its really an LCNC Product where very less code may require if needed. It helps startups and entrepreneurs as easily adaptable. It also covers features for small-scale businesses to enterprise businesses.
As such no dislike options, but yes, it still has some scope for improvement related to Dashboard coloring, CSS, and we would like to have more integration options in the future.
It helps faster build and easy integrations with other. It helps in secure access and 99.9% availability as well. It is good and simple in look and feel. I like it.
Quite easy to learn and get started to build with.
that it's not built for size, but no software can meet all requirements :D
centralized location for all workflows and processes.
Building reports and gathering necessary analytics is simple and straightforward, whether building a dashboard or looking for a quick ad hoc report.
While dashboards allow more flexibility in the layout of included reports, the size of the dashboard is still limiting for the types of reports I am wanting to see on the page.
Quickbase allows me to create an application for our level 2 support team to quickly and efficiently identify and track reported issues and other work while gathering all necessary information. It also meets the needs for performing analysis and reporting about the issues and work performed by the team.
QuickBase is nice to use because it allows for minimal coding with easily displaying data for the workplace.
QuickBase can have bug or glitches and the support team will sometimes take too long to get feedback if feedback is given at all. This can cause major frustration and dissapointment to the user.
Currently QuicikBase is updating forms and pushing this to mobile apps.
The fact that it's a low code environment and ramps up to learn use is rapid. Dashboards and verifying information through reports and user roles stream-lines our processes.
Importing data into Quickbase and use of the pipelines or converting automation processes to pipelines is still difficult. Automating processes for verification also take time.
Providing transparency and awareness of business processes and project status to everyone in the company. This increases production and improves communication between team members.
It has allowed me to make a spreadsheet obsolete that I needed to use to house data for multiple reports that would take 4+ hours to save. I also helps to make sure that I can level and have the reports run without me so I can take time off.
I struggle with navigation when I am building at times. I end up exiting two levels or more at once when I want to go just one level back unless I really think about how I get there.
It is helping replace some of the functions of spreadsheets and SharePoint by combining data collection and workflow processes. It allows us to have greater transparency and not have to rely solely on one person.
You can set up reports and different roles on Quickbase. That has been extremely helpful for my company. The only downside is that you need someone with a lot of experience. The reports need to be a little more user friendly
The only downside is that you need someone with a lot of experience. The reports need to be a little more user-friendly. When reaching out to support, they always respond to help with any issues though.
We are currently using Quickbase as our CRM for a solar company. This helps with tracking the operations aspect as well as the sales aspect of the company. Quickbase does a lot of cool things, you just need the experience to make it fast and easy.
Ability to build features, fields and workflows as needed. The flexibility
Integrations with other applications is difficult
It is helping create workflows.
- no code ease for business application user - Has a completed SaaS platform from security/Compliance/Database functionality/Some UI/Administration - Integration on webhook/3rd party software through Pipeline and /ODBC connectivity to support to be a expandible palatform - Provide mutliple ti
- Even it is a no code system but the configuration/integration scriptiing/database schema changes/Column formula are NO version control. - No system dashboard to live monitor / review system activities on system resource usages. - Performance Insight is only show potential issue but not clear what will be the suggested outcome from the reported issues - Pipeline is user based instead of resource based which can managed /assigned to/by muliple user based on their user role.
Ease to integrate the business flow with external system; build a data model to support the online transaction/workflow usage / can maint the system for change from different level of user roles/levels ; share the application feature with external integrator; share the QB app with external business partner to use the same process defined
It's super user-friendly - even someone without a tech background can build out an app that's customized to their needs. Also, the customer support is awesome!
We were a little disappointed with the pricing increase that we saw in this past year.
Quickbase serves as our client database, so it tracks all of our client data and encounters. It helps us better serve clients and track our workflow.
The best part about quickbase is that it is no code. It enables non-tech companies to still maintain the edge of companies that have a dedicated software team.
Limited or difficult outside data integration.
We use quickbase to track jobs in progress and allowing multiple users to make notes
Quickbase is a great low/no code app platform that makes it very easy for non-coders to get get started while simultaneously also providing advanced features that allow for depth and nuance to be baked into your custom applications
Elements of QuickBases' account management processes leave something to be desired depending on your account plan. For instance, our account manager requests a quarterly update for their benefit yet we are billed hours for this meeting (which we have since discontinued).
Apps built with Quickbase are serving as our primary customer relationship management platform. It helps us have real-time visibility into all revenue opportunities within our sales pipeline at any given time and provides a simple database for reporting applications.
Our company is recreating a billing system that has been in place for over two decades and we are very thankful there is a vibrant developer community that can assist us in this extremely complex endeavor. On the other hand, we have some other, simple databases that we needed implemented (i.e. visit tracking for billing and COVID encounter tracing) that we were able to do ourselves.
There are some reports that we need that require output to PDFs or Excel for which we have to purchase third-party add-ons.
Quickbase is helping us move our mission-critical custom software solution, patched together over two decades on a locally hosted Microsoft Access database, to a cloud-based solution, allowing us to work on it directly from home or in the field.
It has a lot of form functionality and customizable input fields.
It is a bit overwhelming for a beginner user.
Inputting lots of custom data into the quickbase database to make it easier to organize and report off from the central database system. This helped make it easier for certain departments to pull the data instead of having to access to central system.
You don't have to know how to develop it like a traditional database. It's easier.
It doesn't work like traditional databases. Especially if you've developed on other platforms.
We use it as an employee tracking system.
The layout is organized and it allows for multiple functions like storing documents, chat and data access.
The design is somehow rustic but its not much of a downside.
It's helping our team keep projects visible and accesible to all, as well as keeping us connected as we work from home.
