This powerful communication tool apart from offering quality videoconferences has the possibility of being able to share a screen with the people you communicate. At the most basic level, it is limited to four people per meeting. At the most advanced level, include up to 200 people in your meeting. It's also nice that you can get a free trial of any level of service, even the most basic. The RingCentral Office software interface changes in appearance depending on the device you access. In general, all platforms are colored in different shades of blue and gray on white backgrounds, with some highlighted in orange according to the RingCentral brand. The designs are generally clear, there is a good use of the icons and the navigation is very easy to use. On the desktop, the interface makes use of a top ribbon menu that contains all the main functions in the text. These vary slightly between PC and Mac, but include options such as Phone System, Billing, Call Log, Reports, Tools, etc. Each tab accesses its own window with more navigation options.
I have no complaints about this software, its performance has been very good during the time I have used it
With this tool I can log in and use at any time, anywhere, on any device that I choose and be able to communicate effectively with my coworkers or business clients. Whether you need to contact someone at your desk at work, on my mobile device while traveling or using my own devices from my home, the RingCentral Office will work in exactly the same way saving me time and always being in touch where I require it and wherever I am
Clear communication, and great screenshare features (we do online demos)
control bar could be a little more aesthetically pleasing
Quick way to hop on a screenshare with a customer
I like the absolute ease of use. Within minutes, I was up and running. Its use is very intuitive.
I would prefer that it wasn't a download, but even that was pretty pain free.
Inter-departmental training.
Multi office connectivity is a very useful tool. Booking, scheduling and rescheduling appointments apart from confirmation calls are an important asset for our business. Video calling is something we use frequently for videoconferencing and allows multiple people to join in at same time.
It is not always user friendly and can be a real issue with high internet traffic
Patient appointments Appointment conformation, cancelling and rescheduling Video conferences Connecting with doctors over video mode Counseling via teleconferencing
I like that you can see who is in the meetings and when they have their mic on or are dialed in
The amount of dials you have to do just to log in to a meeting
So many different numbers to dial
It is an easy to operate software, accessible each time and helps connect our clinics. Also, calling patients is easy. There is a record too of the calls and meetings so that is an asset too
It sometimes just hangs up on you, especially when internet load is high. So sometimes it is not that reliable as it is supposed to be. That is why the score 9
Inter-clinic connectivity, patient confirmation calls
You can text call and fax for one central app on your desktop it’s really easy. Love how it stores contacts. Provides you a personal number as well.
Only thing I dislike is attachments can’t be pdf for text or fax which sucks but that’s all honestly.
I’m texting customers for follow ups. Sending/Receiving photos from technicians to provide tech support on commercial refrigeration units.
I like being able to host video conferences with multiple parties all in one place. Having conference calls is also very helpful.
Sometimes the connection lags a little and it is hard to hear participants.
We use RingCentral to get all parties together in one space to talk about projects, events, releases, etc.
The screen-sharing ability is fantastic and works great if you have employees in different locations.
There is not one thing I dislike about this program.
Monthly conference calls and check-ins for status updates. No more coordinating meetings to get all employees at one location.
you can take your office phone wherever you go!
It was somewhat difficult to figure out the voicemail setup at first
I never miss a work call. I can be traveling, out a client, or even away from my computer and I’m always connected thanks to the application on both my computer and my cell phone
We use ring central for all our meetings. It is easy to schedule, consistent, and everyone in any office is able to join in.
It on the first few weeks of use was not super intuitive and I wish some functions were clearer but overall super great.
How to keep people in three offices communicating easily
I like that I can receive a fax to my personal direct phone line. I can have benefits faxed to me from various health insurance agencies.
I do not like that at times the faxes come in as voicemails.
Having a hard copy document of benefits checked rather than relying on a reference number for a phone chat with a rep.
There are so many things that I like about this product. You can call, chat, fax and do so much more all from one spot. The sound from the headsets work excellent and I have yet to deal with any technical issues. This is a great, inexpensive way to get faxes delivered right to your phone/tablet/desktop.
There is nothing that I really dislike about this product. It has been very user friendly and allows for many branches of choices in so many ways. It's less expensive than Metrofax, but not as reliable. Half the time a sent fax doesn't go through.
This product has solved issues with customer service respect, and ensuring members are using it properly. It has been easy to transfer folks and get them where they need to go. Have had no down time over past 2 years, and almost none the 3 year before that. We run heavy outbound calling 10 hours per day. Have moved phones to different locations with various routers and works everywhere.
as I noted in the title, the RingCentral Meetings is fairly easy to use.
Currently, the platform only allows for four participants unless an add-on is purchased.
We need to meet with clients in remote parts of the state. The online meetings allow for collaboration with those hard to get to locations.
RingCentral integrates well into our workflow, without taking us out of it to complete tasks, which makes it a valuable tool.
Really don’t have any complaints. It’s even integrated into our CRM
Solves having to manually record calls
I like best that it allows us to not actually have to use a physical fax machine. We can just upload PDFs and it will fax it where it is needed without us having to actually print the document, walk over to the fax machine (which is far from my office). It reduces interruptions into the flow of what i'm doing. Love that there are tons of cover sheets to choose from as well.
I have found that they don't always go through but that's the same with any fax machine. Nothing else really comes to mind that I disklike.
Prevents interruptions in my day from having to get up and walk over to our actual fax machine. I like that my phone, texts and fax are all in one hub. When faxes come in, it goes to my email which is where I spend a good amount of my day already.
We are using RingCentral to allow our remote locations volunteers to participate to the monthly meeting. We are also using it to connect with every other organizations across the country. It's easy to use, you can show a screen and people's faces and have control over microphones
the installation, even if quite easy is not accessible to some of our memebers who are not very computer savy, it also requires to install a software on a compute which is not always possible for everyone (ex: office computer, etc.)
Connecting with our branches all over the province. Our members can participate to important meetings without having to fly all the way here which is saving a couple of hundreds dollars each time.
I like the ease of being able to use Ring Central and that we can monitor
Sometimes the calls are broken up, depending on internet quality.
We are able to funnel all of our offices onto one calling platform, which has greatly helped us.
