Quick meeting app run with less bandwidth in super speed and quality sharing
Have to wait to connect the call until the host joins the meeting
meetings
call logs, remote calling, remote office, online fax service, voicemail options, music, custom messages
almost too many options and can get really complicated with some of the more complex services they offer
remote office operation, away messages, call logs, online fax
Ring Central is my favorite app to utilize for our video meetings. We have a dozen conference calls on a weekly basis and half of them are video based. Ring Central is by far the best version of video meetings I've used. My favorite thing is the ease of recording and host switching. Even if video or feed is lost the entire meeting does not drop out. Ease of continuance makes my days easier. It is so user friendly, I never have any issues with my new recruits picking up how to use the product.
I go in and out of a lot of very rural areas so my internet and cell service drops out very often. I do not like how sensitive the video feed is to the connection issues. I have had a lot if problems dropping out of meetings. On the bright side, it does automatically reconnect when I am back in service. I know there is very little that can be done to prevent this, however it is still a difficulty that I am facing.
An unlimited amount of users. We can have a meeting with 3 people together and we can have a meeting with 100 people together. This is very helpful for the variety of conference calls and meetings that we have. There is no issue with Ring Central being available on multiple platforms. Whether someone is apple, android, PC or mac; there is no issue with them downloading the app or software and getting on the call.
I love that I can keep track of my phone calls, meetings, tasks, files, calendar, etc. all in one central hub.
I don't like the multiple apps to access all the RingCentral office tools.
RingCentral is great at tracking shared documents and files, its also great to store contact info and previous interactions with people.
It was very easy to download and easy to connect with another company. They were able to fix a few issues we were having by using this program. Entering the meeting number and connecting was simple.
I haven't really used Ring Central enough to say that i dislike anything about it. It took a little longer than usual to download the program but overall I was satisfied.
We needed help using some new software and they recommended we download this program so they can gain access to our screen to help us out. I will continue to use the program as needed in the future.
I like that you can have a meeting through ring without having to use your phone number. I also like that you can use it to dial out from a personal line if you work at home without having your number given out.
There is not a lot I dislike this is a very user friendly simple platform that anyone could use. One issue is sometimes the connection is not as clear as I would like.
Meetings with external clients.
love the mobile application and integration with Zapier
the interface could be a bit cleaner looking
being available in my office without being tied to the office
With RingCentral it allows me to go to meetings with co-workers that are in different states without having to leave my state.
I really don't have any dislikes for RingCentral.
We have meetings about how many claims we are processing and in the meeting we can all look at statistic charts without having to be in a physical meeting room.
What I love about the program is that your able to receive text messages from claimants as well as track down the incoming calls and outgoing.
I do dislike that you can't hear your the phone number first when checking your voicemail. Another feature I don't like is that if you delete a voicemail from the ring central website it deletes it from your inbox on your actual phone.
Better communication for people who can't call they are able to text.
Simple way to connect with large and small groups
I dont like the auto-fuctionality of adding events to your calendar. There should be a way to not automatically do this.
Connecting with our team for daily, weekly, and monthly conversations
Easy to use interface for sharing web screen to demo. Meeting chat is a great feature as well
Nothing at this time, it fits all requirements
Time saving when meeting with customers reviewing our product and getting immediate feedback
I love that I can send a fax without being at a fax machine. I can log into ring central on my laptop or desktop and upload documents to send to any fax number. I can even send faxes through my email, which is perfect for mobile cell use.
The app for Ringcentral on mobile phones has not yet integrated faxing into it. That would be the easier than using an email, but I use the fax feature from the website on a PC more than accessing it from my phone.
We have eliminated landlines and can make our sales team completely mobile. They do not need to be in the office to send important fax documents to clients.
Meetings are made easier with this cool app
It was hard to figure out where the video icon was
Meetings in time
They are able to solve problems quickly and without a lot of fuss
Sometimes the hold time takes more than a five minutes if you call o a weekend
Mobile office anywhere. I can call out from my office number right from my cell phone.
I like the fact that you can fax things fairly quickly - it's easy to use in email format (example: 2734469999@rcfax.com) You simply type the fax number, and follow it with the @rcfax.com. Attachments send really quick, and it's not difficult to get the hang of. Our company has used this for multiple years, and plan on continuing to use it. You are able to integrate the fax with phone features, and install company phones linked to the same service. That is a really unique perk - RingCentral has a very competitive group pricing plan that varies based on how many users will be involved in the service.
Nothing honestly. The service is good !!! Only thing I would change is the ability to view your faxes in a separate app. Once the fax is sent it is out of your hands. You can't go back and see which attachments you sent, unfortunately. If the company were able to launch their own app where you can review the faxes after sending them I would be much more inclined to invite others to use it. Regardless, it is a good service and my company still utilizes it as opposed to the competition.
I've been using it to streamline the way I communicate with customers. I've realized that it's important to fax all of your customers - same with email, and phone communication. I've liked the service.
Ease of use. It’s very simple to log in and start using. Being able to screen share at the click of a button with internal OR external users is fantastic.
I wouldn’t say that I really have any dislikes.
Screen share and collaboration.
The confirmation that my fax was delivered. After each one I sent, it was great knowing I would get an email confirming everything went through smoothly so I could follow up with the receiver.
While it was minimal, once in a while the fax would not go through when using their email function to send it. I then would have to go to their website and attach the files and send a fax through their platform. Not the biggest deal in the world but it was nice and simple when the email function would work.
Being able to send faxes without having to use an old fax machine.
We were in desperate need for VoIP system for our office so that our overseas clients could reach us anytime without any hassle. We used CounterPath products for some time but didn't have satisfactory experience. Then we came across RingCentral and it has most useful, satisfactory system till date we used. It offers all the features you could expect from such system with stable performance. We have multiple numbers configured for multiple agencies we support and they work flawlessly together on same network. Their software is the best and call recording feature is superb in terms of audio quality and access. It is highly recommended system if you are in need of such phone system for your office.
Switching user to another computer is sometimes messy affair and should have been easy.
Hassle free VoIP based telephony system which is easy to integrate, manage and use.
The many different options it has. I am looking forward to learning all of its capabilities
The installation process took a lot longer than expected
None yet that I can think of
It's super easy to download and utilize. I love the voice recognition so even if speaking from someone else's device, it recognized that a different user was speaking.
There really isn't anything that I can think of that I don't like.
I think it's great to be able to go back and determine what was discussed and have back up if there were discrepancies.
Ring Central is incredibly simply to use! While working at a call center we switched to Ring Central from another call software, which was a gamble for our small organization. As admin, I was able to easily reassigned phone lines, redirect voice inboxes, pull recordings, and set voicemails to be automatically sent to my email. Strongly recommend Ring Central;. Rarely did we ever need to contact customer support to solve minor issues, and any issues we did have were attributed to our cisco phone lines. I am unsure how great RC is for bigger call centers, for our size of up to 50, it was great.
Reassigning phone extensions was a bit complicated in the beginning, and I recommend making these changes during "closed" hours. It was simple to troubleshoot on your own, and didn't take long to catch your own errors. Other than this, I do not have complaints
Switching to RC helped us keep track of missed calls, and to identify identify call back rates. At times, we would have high numbers of voicemails, and this helped us evaluate performance as well. When faced with organizational turn over, it was easy to redirect calls to the appropriate lines, or reassign extensions. All of this could happen within a matter of minutes.
Like that its reliable we had a lot of problems with our old phone system and this has a lot of cool options to make things easier
It can be somewhat complicated to set up. A lot of moving pieces and the phones were down for like 20 minutes when we did
Well I have my calls sent to my cell which is great and we couldent do that before so i can take calls wehrever i go. Also, i have different setting for different days and contacts which makes things super cool and easy,
I liked the fact that you can automatically record calls and have them forwarded to email. I think that the product is amazing for companies that have sales teams in place to speak with customers and that have a team in place that can utilize this product everyday!
I disliked the price. I felt as if it could have been lower then what it currently is now. I think that overall the product is very good, but the cost benefit to my company wasn't very high due to our lack of call volume. I think that for companies who have a higher call volume will love this product and will help to improve the productivity of the teams.
The benefits i had most were the fact that my calls were all recorded and sent by email top me. Benefits far outweigh the negatives on this product. i did like the fact that you can have multiple employees working and utilizing the system at the same time. I think that A product like this is great for companies with a higher call volume and that have larger teams in place to utilize this tool, Sadly I didn't use the tool as much becuase I am a smaller company with a small sales team and a lot of our calls are more customer based and not as mucg sales based calls.
I work in the Sales department within my firm, and the recording feature makes it extremely easy for me to go back and listen to my calls with prospects and improve on my sales skills. In addition, Ring Central provides an app where you can text your clients.
The voice-messaging transcriber is extremely inaccurate. I hope Ring Central decides to improve this aspect of its software so that you are not forced to listen to the voicemail, but can solely rely on the transcribed message to your email.
The business problem Ring Central solves is that it allows us to have recorded conversations between ourselves and our clients. We often take verbal confirmations for payment, and call-recording through Ring-Central allows us to log these payment approvals in the event that the client is upset about a payment being taken from their account. In addition, I have realized the benefits of listening to my calls so that I can improve my overall customer service skills.
The fact that it is automatic! It is helpful to not have to remember to record the call from the beginning when the Caller's ID is blocked.
There isn't anything I dislike per se. One improvement would be the option to delete the recording immediately after call.
Working with property management, this digital record of calls is so helpful! At the end of the day, I review the recordings, download the ones with important information, and file them in the appropriate folder - tenant, landlord, or vendor.
I really enjoyed the Ring Central software because my calls would come to both my desk phone and my computer. It was so easy to pick up my headset and answer the call via my computer. The best feature is that any voicemails received can be put into text and you can read them rather than dialing up your voicemail. That made researching the issue before calling them back so much easier.
I really did not have any problems with the software that I can elaborate on. I enjoyed using the product and found it practical and useful.
This allows us to keep a record of our company calls, and a transcript of voice messages for reference. It also allows ease of use since our calls can be accessed via our computer and headset rather than using a phone and handset.
I can route it to my cell phone seamlessly and switch it back to my office phone in a matter of seconds.
Wish it transcribed voicemails and call recordings a bit better.
We always have calls where there are all these action items that kind of fade in our minds after the call. Since we work with so many contractors its difficult to remember what they said and what we said and who said what in general. It really helps us keep whoever is responsible for certain tasks accountable - it is super helpful for those who work with contracted organizations constantly.
Call recordings make it easy to playback a conversation and look for any info I may have missed.
Nothing really to dislike, it does what it's supposed to.
Call recordings make it so I can be completely involved in the conversation. Not distracted by taking notes.
I absolutely love that faxing is simple and easy, not to mention ring central has a huge allowable file size!
There’s nothing I personally dislike about using the app, it has always been user friendly and I receive any faxes sent to me, as well as I have had no one complain of not receiving outgoing faxes.
You can write faxes quickly and easily, as well as viewing them. No ink refills, it’s all electronic!
The best tool for having meetings and calls. Features like screen share, meeting recorder will help alot in the corporate world. Having the control over video while starting the meetings is a big plus for us. Can choose over the dedicated Personal Meeting ID or change it when ever required helps the end users to join the meeting when we just share the meeting id number. Ring Central Meetings offer a dedicated dial in number which can be accessed from several locations on earth using their local numbers.
As of now, I did not see any missing feature that I dislike this tool. I would be more happy if the international numbers include INDIA also as most of my offshore team asks for this feature so that they can work remotely and join the meetings without internet.
Scheduled meetings with clients with ability to give a conference bridge dial in number. Some times while presenting demo's or while conducting special training we need to record the meeting while capturing the screen and Ring Central meetings is the best tool for us. Multiple participants sharing the screen is one of the unique feature we were using while conducting internal demos.
