Lots of features at low cost. Ease of use.
Nothing at this time. I have been a user for over a year and no concerns.
I am using it for email marketing.
Robly is very easy to use to generate campaigns. The templates are easy to use and provide a good guide to effective marketing. Any support questions are quickly answered.
Would like a library of common images to use.
Robly was half the price of Constant Contact. Because of it's ease of use, I have been able to leverage the subscription and the cost of marketing has more that paid for itself.
I never thought anything could convince me to leave Constant Contact. I loved their template options and service and was with them for many years. But after trying it out I was convinced to switch and Robly has been a great choice for me. First - the price cannot be beat. I am paying about half of what I was paying on Constant Contact, and there some great bells and whistles including AI and OpenGen, which both improve my open rate quite a bit. The service has been fabulous,. When I can't figure out something or find a glitch, live chat is right there and someone walks me through it. (usually the same person, which I like) Overall I am really happy I made the switch.
Although I like that the templates are much more contemporary and clean than on Constant Contact. the variety is very, very limited. They are all the same style and in the end they are pretty interchangeable. Since I often need to have a lot of images in my emails, I sometimes have trouble finding one that fits my needs, but I can always find one that I can adapt. (But I often need help, as the images aren't as easy to place as I would like) Some basic editing options are not available yet, but I'm hoping this will change.
Most importantly, Robly has saved me hundreds of dollars a year. That's a huge benefit. And the added services, AI and OpenGen make all of my email campaigns much more effective.
The program is easy to use and i love that it'll send a second campaign automatically as a follow up. I moved over from another company almost 2 years ago and don't regret it one bit!
There's not much to dislike. Every once in awhile i wish i had more formatting options but overall...I like it all.
We're using Robly to expand our customer reach. With the easy design we can focus on the content and not so much the design.
We appreciated very much the easy transition from our previous software to Robly. Robly did all the hard work for us, and we were able to begin using it almost immediately. It is basically very easy to use, and we can get a newsletter out in a matter of minutes. Quite honestly, we really like the price too. As a not-for-profit, we are extremely conscientious about how we spend our dollars, and Robly provides a good solid product for a very winning price.
There's not much we dislike. Sometimes I have trouble linking, but that is probably more user error than a system problem.
The biggest benefit we have realized is cost savings. We will investigate how we can more fully utilize the features that Robly offers.
Anyone with any level of e-mail marketing expertise (or lack thereof) can jump right into Robly and immediately craft a contact list, design an e-mail campaign and a schedule to send a spiffy looking blast to hundreds, or thousands, of addresses! Plus, Robly staff and customer service crew are very responsive - via chat, e-mail or even phone. For a small company, they can surely manage their surely growing client base.
There are a few unintuitive features (managing individual contacts, template color palettes, copy-n-pasting body text), but overall, this product is doesn't need any bells & whistles to deliver a top quality service.
Robly delivers the same product and service as its competitors, but for half the cost. An easy business decision and after a few months since our organization's switch to Robly...it's all good!
Robly is easy to understand, easy to use, has great customer support and knowledge base.
would like more analytical depth as well interpertation of those analytics. Perhaps samples and more explanation in knowledge base about post-email understandings would be a good idea.
Problem is connecting entertainment industry with clients (as opposed to fan base - while very close, those two items are have different definitions. Benefits are (were) ease of start up; sorta like riding a bike. Once your online and phone support (tutorials) got me going, it was easy to understand and use.
We are saving a lot of money by switching from Constant Contact to Robly. I also like the Open Gen feature which resends the email to those who didn't open it after a few days. It increases our open rate.
It is a new system and there are a few things to get used to. Schedule Now and Send Now are two different things.
It is a more efficient way of communicating with our nonprofit members, volunteers, friends, and donors.
Robly is the new wave of email marketing. Interface is designed for accuracy, quickness and creativity. You can drag and drop blocks and match your creative thinking without having to know any "code". In terms of reach, Robly provides accurate reporting, with time of the day when emails were opened. You can opt to resend the unopened emails (opengen). And you can even have Robly use their intelligence engine to schedule email at a time where you would get best results.
When you move from another email marketing program, you have your "ways" of doing things, like creating sub-categories from your list. With Robly, it is a work around vs. straight from the interface. You have to export your list (like who opened a link), and then reimport these contacts to update their records. I have not used Robly from a foreign country, but I know that Constanct Contact gave very sporadic and slow access.
Reaching customers. I am a firm believer that email marketing is the best way to deliver your message. You can strategically plan in advance what message you would like delivered, and entice your customers to take actions. Having a good mix of exciting information vs. "sales promotion" will keep your customers interested.
The User Interface is very intuitive and easy to use, from design, through scheduling, managing and syncing with social media posts. The design templates are great, but you can also drop in new tables and control the placement, borders, background colors and more of text boxes, links, images, etc. I've also noticed the image downsampling is superior to Constant Contact - if I need to shrink an image from its original size, the image quality doesn't degrade. This is especially helpful if my image contains type.
I wish I were able to duplicate multiple sections at a time. Each element has to be duplicated individually, and in my case since we have so many repeating elements, it becomes time consuming.
The workflow has improved productivity in sending marketing emails based off a template we've built. It's also an excellent tool when we need to create an email from scratch. And of course it's a great tool for managing contacts and compiling campaign data!
The ability to create custom segments with images, texts, multiple blocks per segment, etc.
When inserting an image into a text block I am not able to meticulously place the image where I'd like - it will insert automatically.
We are reaching masses of people with custom templates/emails and are able to color scheme quite easily.
When I add in the additional e-mail opens that OpenGen gives me, the overall open rates for my last three campaigns have been over 40%. Of course, I'm segmenting my list so the emails appear to come from our customers' individual salesmen.
It is not easy to delete campaigns. You should be able to check boxes and delete more than one at a time.
The company I currently work for has never done e-mail marketing. However, I have been doing it for years at another company. I used to use a competitor, but Robly is much less expensive. We've received phone calls to place orders for products advertised in an e-mail campaign minutes after it goes out. That's what I call return on investment.
Robly is very competitive price-wise, and offers knowledgeable and accessible support when we have questions. Their template options offer something for everyone. And the intuitive design features are easy to use. We have used Robly for over a year now, and have been very happy with the service, with a few minor issues listed below.
Navigation can be clunky and annoying at times. Reporting features are solid, but could use some improvement. For example, If we are looking up a campaign from a few months ago, find it, start working with the data, then try to get back to the page we were on, it brings us back to page one. This is not a problem if what you are looking at is on page 3 or 4, but when it is on page 17, it is cumbersome. Also, we can't set up a series of 7 emails as one campaign. They each have to be done individually. We would love to see a way to set up a campaign with several emails within it that can be repeated as a campaign. Having to schedule 7 separate emails when we want to reissue a targeted campaign is more tme consuming than it should be. Lastly, some of our click throughs are not real. Click throughs generally show our own company (when we know we haven't touched it), you tube addresses and robly archive addresses. Don't know why these are showing up, but we would love to see this fixed.
We use Robly for targeting specific prospects. Sometimes we send educational emails, sometimes we send promotional ones. And sometimes the emails are somewhere in between. We have several segments we send to as well. We wish there was a way to organize our own listing of campaigns. Perhaps this will be addressed in the near future. Overall, we have been happy with the service and the results we have received.
The best thing about Robly is the usability. Several of my team members work in Robly throughout the week and it was easy to train them and explain different options for email marketing.
The one dislike I have is the ability to connect multiple Twitter accounts.
The biggest benefit would be the OpenGen feature which allows us to resend the email in a timely manner not having to sort through unopen lists.
Robly's Templates and build options are the most efficient and easiest to use when compared to the other E-mail marketing options I've looked at. I'm always looking for newer and better, but I've been consistently sticking with Robly.
I would like for Robly to integrate with some of my Travel Agency focused CRM programs.
Ensuring clients are proparly educated and presented with time sensitive offers.
Roby is extremely user friendly and offers great customer service support. It is affordable for non-profits, and provides a variety of quality templates to market your events to your customer base. Campaign results are extremely easy to locate on the site.
Roby should offer more topics to select from when trying to choose the best template for the campaign.
Email campaign "open rate". The Open Gen option has been a wonderful tool. It is very helpful when I am targeting email marketing to busy parents for children's programming.
Robly is an user friendly product. I appreciate the help that is available when you need it. I personally had a little difficulty importing my contact list from another service. Robly staff were right there and walked me through the process.
I only wish that when a campaign is sent out, that an actual copy of the campaign was sent to me, not just a notification that it went out.
Staying in contact with my customers. They have a written copy of events and information they need.
I decided to switch from Constant contact at Robly for several reasons: the ease of the transition, the significantly lower cost, in the open gen and AI features which seem to increase the likelihood emails are opened and read.
I find that probably can be a little confusing at first in terms of understanding how to use its tools in designing a new email. They do have good technical support and a collection of videos to walk you through. Still can't express to invest time grasping the differences if your used another product.
We are a nonprofit organization and use it to communicate with our members and remote conferences, courses,'s and services.
As a nonprofit organization, we've appreciated the extra cost savings with Robly compared to Constant Contact. We really like the templates for getting ideas for fresh newsletters. I also like that when you call them, you can actually talk to someone if you're having any problems - it was virtually impossible to get anyone on the phone with our previous provider. Robly also seems to keep getting better and better by offering new editing tools and making various improvements.
Every now and then formatting will get switched up when viewing on the Robly system vs. email, but for the most part it's fixable and this seems to be an issue with similar providers. I'd also like an easier button to add to "forward to a friend." Sometimes I do have issues with importing contacts through a CVS file, so there could be some improvement there. But even with these minor issues, I would still highly recommend Robly!
With the ease of using Robly, we've been reaching out to our donors and partners each month, which has been great for staying in touch. I also like that we can target certain contacts by creating segmented lists, which is helpful for certain kinds of campaigns. We've also seen our newsletter list grow in the past year with the easy subscription system.
I love the auto-save of sections as you move between them - no having to remember to click "Save" like in other programs. It's also nice to design the sections and have the appearance attributes of the current section easily editable right there at the top. The finished products look great. The customer support has been very quick; bugs have been fixed quickly; and suggestions have been implemented quickly. (I am very picky about workflow and logical information appearing on screens.)
The gray fonts, and smooth letters are VERY hard to see, especially for older eyes. (This is not just a Robly complaint; it applies to G2 as well....). There are active effects that take a while to load on a desktop - when I have to confirm the deletion of a contact, it should't have a popup that takes forever to load and has a fade effect making it even harder to see what I am doing. Many of the screens are not formatted well for a desktop user. It is almost impossible to use the tab key to navigate through the system, requiring a LOT of scrolling and clicks. This is where developers seem to have forgotten that a lot of the people actually using the system(s) are not using small mobile devices.
We are solving the problem of marketing more than one product to the same target customer base, while easily keeping campaign info separate. We are solving the problem of using a somewhat convoluted platform to do an easy task.
