I like that it is very simple and easy to use, obviously after learning how to use it, it makes very easy the management of orders, coupons, changes and much more.
What I don't like too much is the costs, for a big company could be easy to cover the cost but for a small entrepreneur, at the beggining could become something unreachable.

I have been using Shopify as a storefront for my shirt drop shipping business. It did take some time to get used to the platform but I do like how I can integrate my Etsy store with shopify and I can compare prices for goods through Shopify.
It is kind of expensive especially since I am not a large business bringing in a lot of revenue every month. The plans are $30+ a month which is a little steep for someone just starting out.
It makes finding a reliable seller for my dropshipping business quick and easy. Shopify really does all the work for me after I create my product and put it for sale in my store.
I think shopify is great for people that want a store out of the box and that have little to no coding experience.
As a developer I think that there are limitations to what you can actually customize.
It's easy for users to shop and buy products that the company is selling.
With Shopify, it is quick and easy to set up an online store, manage inventory and process payments. Additionally, Shopify offers a range of tools and features to help you create a professional-looking website, as well as analyze website performance to see what’s working and what’s not.
Lack of in depth analytics for bigger brands, hard to make decisions with lack of data that's not provided. Would love to see more growth in analytics area and reporting
We can sell in different countries and easily schedule our promotions and achieve growth in DTC space + use a variety of apps that makes user experience better on our website
The amount of useful data about my work helps me with knowing the customer's orders, the details of the orders, and the receipts for each order. Also, it is very usable and efficient.
The user graphical interface is not user-friendly. Also, the orders page can be more classified by using more search filters. Also, the search functions need to improve.
It helps so much with identifying the customer's orders along with all the other order details such as tracking numbers, order details, etc. It is easy to use.
It does an excellent job of allowing us to categorize products and personalize our products.
I want more report functionality on a whole scale level.
It's our primary system for selling our retail products. It bridges our social media stores which are crucial to sales.
Shopify makes selling easy and efficient. Building a site is easy and the software interface is quite good with analytical functionalities. Shopify sites are comparatively fast. I didn't face any problems with the platform and it is good for all small, mid, and large organizations.
It is hard to customize by code like the header editing section and conversion tracking installation. Also, there is not a large variety of themes. I feel that pricing is high because they also charge a fee on each transaction.
It's easy to use and design an online shop, they have all the features which an e-commerce shop needs. Customer support is good they respond quickly. They have a wide range of payment gateways. Integration with other software is good.
Shopify makes it easy for my small bike shop to sell online and keep us competitive with larger online retailers. We can import inventory direct from our larger suppliers and often ship directly from supplier to customers home!
Haven't found anything really negative about Shopify yet. Much nicer than our old software in most ways. I do find that if an item is in our suppliers warehouse it lists as instock on our website which can confuse customers looking to shop our store
Shopify is allowing us to compete with larger online retailers and increase our footprint beyond our brick-and-mortar. It manages orders well and the internal notes systems allow both of our stores to be on the same page!
The way orders can be managed and easy cancellation and refund functions.
Sometimes the information on purchases is not entirely clear.
The management of orders and being able to process cancellations, returns, refunds on the same platform.
Shopify allows us to set pickup options at each of our stores at a rate that works best for our production schedule.
Editing large amounts of items can be a pain
Production is based on a multiple day schedule and Shopify allows us to set the correct limitations on our pickup and preorder schedule
UI and UX is much better then Woocommerce. The facility and User freindly options are there. Single person can handel lots of things seamlessly in shopify. No Code kind of tool
everything is on cost here. Very less app who are free. You have to pay for alomoist everything new you want to do on shopify. Very good for if you are earning big
They are solving lots of things. like heavily loaded on the website. Easy Drop and down and one person army kind od features. easy Buying and better user experience.
Shopify is, without a doubt, the best e-commerce platform now. I use this platform, this is my work. I also teach new guys at work about Shopify and they find it very easy to use.
Nothing, however things are changing fast so I am looking forward to the new features Shopify is going to add in coming years. Hopefully the platform will be even faster.
I do not have to use multiple websites anymore. Shopify solves it all. It saves time and money. One worker can do it all. I do not need to consult my workers either.
Shopify is great for small businesses just starting out. It is very user-friendly, reliable, easy to explore and navigate, and makes basic shipping easy. This platform integrates with most everything.
The difference between the Advanced Plan and Shopify Plus is outrageous. For a mid-sized company, the Plus plan is unattainable but necessary for many features. This creates the need for multiple apps, workarounds, and individually coded templates. There are new and very unnecessary updates to Shopify frequently. For our business, most of these updates have recently been useless and have increased the time it takes for us to do something or limited the capabilities of the Advanced Plan. The ability to print customs documents for international shipments is beneficial in theory, but how they print in Shopify does not work for orders with discounted pricing. Customs offices often reject these forms.
Shopify is an easy, reliable e-commerce platform that integrates easily and provides website, e-commerce, order fulfillment, shipping, and basic analytics all in one.
Shopify allows you to be up and selling with a secure checkout in just a few hours. There are themes that are free and easy to use. You can connect apps to add features to your website in just a few clicks with no coding. If there is coding, the app developer usually will help.
The themes are okay, but unless you have a very simple line of products you'll need to get apps and maybe even hire a developer. There needs to be more product page modifications built-in on the Shopify themes. Also being able to have different variant lifestyle images would be helpful
Selling physical products directly to consumers. It also makes it really easy to advertise on Facebook and Google.
It is easy to use and, to make a training of it, you can customize your features in a straightforward way
the problem with it with the updates that everytime they do a new updates it will have a lot of gaps
it takes two to three days to solve specific problem
Shopify is easy to use even for those who are just starting out. Whether you're a small company or a large company, Shopify definitely has everything that you need to get started on selling your product.
There are very few dislikes, but the coding of your website or theme you choose to use can sometimes run into problems such as banner, Styles used across desktop and mobile
Shopify is removing the problem of finding a way for small companies and large companies to successfully sell their products and reach their clientele by making it simple and easy to use for anyone on your team
What I like best about Shopify is that it easily links to our social channels where we can tag products for consumers to purchase.
I find the platform to be confusing when looking for how many items of a product have been sold.
Shopify helps us keep track of our products and what products we have sold.
When it comes to create an E-Commerce website with ease, only shopify's name comes to my mind. It has different type of themes matching your brand and niche. It also have many apps, apps addes more features and functions to your online store. If you are a developer then shopify provides you easy access to the code editor, you can modify any part of the theme.
Shopify is not cost effective for the seller who has just started their business online, it comes with 7 days free triel which less than the other alternatives. The number of free apps available on the shopify are less, sometimes you have pay for a app or functionality that a apps provide alternatively free for WooCommerce, which is totally free.
As a developer, shopify helps me to create E-commerce websites for my clients which they can manage by their own. It takes less time to create a proper Ecommerce flow with the premade themes templates and apps. It also benefits the clients, they can easily manage their products, sells, invoices, stocks etc. which lacks in most of the other ecommerces platforms.
Easy to understand. Intuitive platform alors comes with a POS system for in store.
Too many basic features not included for which I need to download applications.
Integrating my online sales plaform and my retail locations.
Shopify offers a user-friendly and simple way to set up an ecommerce website. It offers support for both physical and digital products. It also seamlessly integrates with a variety of dropshipping and inventory management platforms.
Shopify's customization options are fairly limited and end up in many Shopify sites looking very similar. The cost of Shopify is also more than some of its competitors, which may be impactful for a start-up.
Before we moved to our own self-hosted solution, Shopify allowed us to get our online shop up and running quickly. It was fairly straight forward to set up and didn't require a lot of specialized technical knowledge or support.
Shopify is very user friendly. Someone with very little experience can set up and manager a store. It is a tool that minimizes the barrier to entry for many small companies.
They are working on upgrading the platform tirelessly but there are still aspects of the tool that are lacking. Some of the API tools are unreliable and support can be a little slow.
Shopify provides a reliable tool at a very affordable cost. Shopify makes managing a website seamless and provide reliable analytics for Finance and Accounting.
