I love that Smartsheet has so many features. It's like the best of Excel and MS Project combined and then taken to the next level.

Sometimes shared sheets are buggy when too many of us are in that sheet at the same time.

Smartsheet does a great job as a tool for my projects with features like checkmarks, comments, reminders, cell linking, and more.

The ability to share real time updates among a large number of coworkers.

The sorting feature between my sheets, folders. Its not very user friendly in that aspect.

Keeping real time information in several areas of our company. Its very versatile

I love how easy it is to use it and even complicated stuff like forms and functions (which there are lots of) and logic is very straight forward and with a couple of read pages, one is able to easily understand and use all of the functions. Also the Customer support is extremely helpful. It is also very easy to use with some other apps, feeding data etc. I am using it every day for the past 6 month and never had any major issues.

I think there are not a lo of negative things to say about SmartSheet, however, I would highlight the fact that after a person saves CTRl+Z does not properly work, however, this might be my personal issue.

It helps automate a lot of manual work (sending emails when specific cell is changed and adding info to cells after other cells are filled.

The platform is adaptable and can be developed and used in many differing situations which is great. I created assets that can manage different business functions, or I have downloaded pre built templates. I have always found more than one way of using Smartsheet to overcome a situation presented to me. The product usage continues to grow in the organisation.

Updates and improvements are sometime slower than expected but they do eventually appear. Smartsheet do consider feedback for improvements but sometimes don’t act on them as quickly as I would like, but the more feedback they obtain the bigger the likelihood they make improvements.

Simple to start using Smartsheet. Great support with SS Support team, Help resources and SS university. Our team used the platform daily to capture data, update information, send automated requests to agency colleagues. Many similarities with Excel makes the learning curve easy and implementation of the sheets a breeze.

I have not found one, yet! I have been using SS for more than 7 years now, and frought the plateform to two different agencies for grant management and data collection for the grants.

At this time, I have not identified any specific applications that I would like SS to address.

Not the easiest UX..... annoying that you need to create summary sheets to drive dasjhboards - you should just be able to hyperlink data from the main sheet to summarize.

Could be more and better option of visualisation data in sheet. When working internationally, the time in the mobile data change history does not work correctly for the user's location. In the case of the dashboard and the shortcut widget tool, there is an error that does not allow you to add another attachment from the BOX for the first time, but you must perform the entire operation again for it to be added correctly.

While Smartsheet has proven effective for our team, the 25,000-line data limit is a notable drawback. This restriction poses challenges, especially in workflows where extensive data entry is common. It prompts careful consideration of when and where to deploy Smartsheet, limiting its use in processes with substantial data requirements. Despite this limitation, Smartsheet remains valuable for specific aspects of our work. However, the constraint underscores the need for the platform to explore options for handling larger datasets, providing users with greater flexibility.

Choosing Smartsheet over Excel proves advantageous in automating data refresh for PowerBI datasets. The seamless integration allows for automatic updates as team members input new data into Smartsheets, significantly reducing manual workload and ensuring that our PowerBI insights remain current and accurate. This automation not only enhances efficiency but also contributes to more timely and informed decision-making within our projects and processes.

One of the best things about is is the ability to centralize all finance related information in one place. It allows us to create customizable spreadsheets and dashboards which can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the finance team. It definetely improved the way we manage the relationship with our customers and suppliers as we have a spreadsheet for each of them and we all work together on it. it is very easy to use, we leant it quicky, our suppliers implemented it as well. We use it all the time for various tasks. The ability to share sheets with colleagues and external partners facilitates seamless collaboration and helps ensure that everyone is working on the most up-to-date information. it was very easy to integrate for the AP team, it helped us resolve invoice discrepancies or clarify pament terms with suppliers. Customer support was helpful whenever we had issues or we needed some guidance.

We had no issues so far with Smartsheet, it met all of our needs

We reduced the number of emails received regarding invoices or payments because we collaborate better with our vendors and the queries are solved quicker. We also monitor better payment approvals, we track due dates and generate insightul reports. This helped us manage cashflow effectively and provide valuable insights for decision making.

The customization and the ability to pull reports out when we need to analyze the data.

Keeps all of our projects in the forefront so nothing gets dropped. We manage projects across many locations and this has helped tremendously.

The tracking functions, alerts, smartsheet spreadsheet features. I use smartsheet on a daily basis to manage projects with my team at work. Smartsheet is simple and easy to setup and add users. There is a lot of help options and guides. Not to leave out the tutorials. Smartsheet is easily integrated and exporting function is the best thing for cross platform use. I have been having such a great experience that I have not needed customer support.

IT tracks my taskes and automates my reminders. I can also review documents and collobrate with others. It is very easy to learn and has amazing features.

I would lke it to have a few more excel type features but it is far suppier to excel.

Task tracking and aotomated reminders

There is a lot to like about Smartsheet. I like that I can make changes easy to a timeline, which happens alot. Dragging associalted elements along in time / extending the duration. I like to work in gant, but some clients prefer calander so being able to instanly convert the view is a great feature.

Probably when it comes to exporting the sheet, it can be hard to format in an easy to view way.

Easily creating and changing scheudles.

It is easy to easy, allows to creaste tables and GANTTs that you can share with your team and colleagues.

The most helpful about Smartsheet is being able to collaborate with my team in a fast, live, and efficient way to keep my team updated everyday. The ease of Smartsheet has helped my team be able to stay on top of our tasks. I use Smartsheets everyday bc it helps me stay on top of my responsibilites.

The least helpful about Smartsheets is perhaps the complexity of larger projeccts such as not being able to use complex tools to look at larger data.

In Smartsheets it has been beneficial to stay on top of my tasks and be able to collaboarte with my team more efficiently.

Its easy to use and is an easy link between clients and contractors

Ease of use, functionality, practicality, and available options are wonderful. Support has been phenomenal. Our group liked smartsheet so much we requested a control center build and the implementation has been a breeze. We will use this daily and are excited about the integration into our workstream and project/portfolio reporting to key stakeholders.

No dislikes. So far smartsheet has given me no issues.

Smartsheet is streamlinig our groups project management into an easy to navigate, all information centralized, work tool that will allow for reduction in repeating steps and optimizing resources and personnel.

It's good that SSO is supported so I can use my Microsoft account and not another password to remember and is secured with MFA. Once logged in it's easy to create and share sheets with colleagues and customers without them needing a paid for license. Permissions of sheets are nice and granular from read only to editing and sharing with others. The audit log provides an easy was to see who made changes and when.

Not much to dislike, other than constantly asking a non licensed user to setup a plan even if they only want to view the sheets I've shared with them.

I like that I can create multiple ways of tracking project work.

For some of my co-workers, it looks like a spreadsheet and they struggle to engage with it.

For larger projects, I'm able to quickly check if we're on target to hit deadlines or cause issues with dependencies. I can comment on work progress and connect with whoever owns a task. I also created a Kanban board in Smartsheet to update my supervisors on my workload and prioritized tasks, since they're visual learners.

huge amount of possibilities, view things in card type, calendar or grid. Colour change of each column. Adding things on or removing. Easy navigation. Complete creation from scratch how ever suits to me. And it's not complicated at all. Privacy and ability to share. All the options to add, remove, change, atatch things.

There is literally nothing I dislike or would like to change.

Organization of tasks. All the details are on there. And if something is missing, I can easily create the field and engineers can fil lt with their information.

Dashboards, data and all supporting documents in one space. Automation and forms for direct input. All in all a great working tool that has become pivotal in our business!

Streamlining development plans and competency checks for our team.

Smartsheet allows us to share and edit documents with ease. There are many features such as workflows, automation and forms that allow us to gather information and process inputed data with ease. Workspaces make managing access and documents a brease with simple interface and sharing functions. We have been able to easily integrate smartsheets into business processes for approvals and data collection, with the great support from the customer support team and documentation where needed. We have been able to implement SSO via our Azure services to allow JIT provisioning of accounts and secure access allow a smooth login period for regular users who sign in and access sheets on a daily basis, reducing their time to work.

We sometimes see issues trying to copy more than one cell from Excel into smartsheet but find this to be more of a user error than smartsheet. The import Excel function in smartsheet is amazing and has allowed us to convert many sheets.

Data collection - Smartsheet allows us to build a sheet and create a simple form that can be shared internally and externally allowing us to collect data. Whether that is for on site stock takes, audit tracking or feedback. Smartsheet allows us to collect, compile and display data with ease from the same page. The system lets multiple users work at the same time and collaborate on taks such as project plans or document management for audits.

Smartsheet is great for project manaement.

Personally not much. I use it daily and have used it for tracking projects as well as creating gnatt charts to give to senior management.

Smartsheet is great for project manaement. It is easy to use, easy to share - we can share sheets or projects with those not on Smartsheet. Many other features including ease of integration - ability to import excel files. Customer support has also been great. Very approachable.

Smartsheet is a very intuitive software. We use it for production timelines, and have made our own custom template that we duplicate for our project. Everyone in the team uses these with ease, very frequently, and the options of adjustment are easy to pick up or teach. It's save us lots of time!

It would be great to have an autosave feature so that we don't lose work.

It is helping us to save time on our timelines and project workflows. We can assign particular tasks to people to keep everything moving, and the system is easy enough so that everyone on our team can use the same sheets and be passed from one person to another.

A central place of document storage allows colleagues to easily access the document they require and collaboratively work on the same document at the same time. We utilise Smartsheet daily within our business and have found it easy to adopt within our processes.

It would be great if the data allowed for the feature of building graph graphic.

Smartsheet is an amazing tool to use in the project management field. It has a few automations that make your life easier and help with the admin side of things. You can watch a half and hour Youtube video and understand the basics of smartsheet. It is easy to use and I use it on a daily basis to help manage my projects. I would recommend to anyone looking for a simple and effective management tool.

This program does offer a variety of functions and thus far the only "dislike" would be to enhance the feature where timelines overlap in a project. It takes some time to figure out which function is applicable to which timeline given. I would prefer to make it more user friendly.

It helps immensely with keeping track of project timelines and feedback. If you build your expected timelines, then the program automatically sends out reminders to the person involved on that timeline. It reduces email send between parties while also keeping your timelines in check.
