A strong and fun Community platform where discussions, questions and answers are available to engage in or just review, whether it's to see what's going on in the Community or for help with solutions.

Commonly used features in Excel and Project are not available or are only available via 3rd party or add-on apps. Basic formatting, like column headers, is missing. Creating reports often requires workarounds for commonly needed things. Feature enhancements do not come often enough, and some of the most asked-for features have never been implemented or even addressed/discussed.

Smartsheet offers a project-centric platform that allows collaboration, transparency, and live data to be shared across the organization and beyond. Previously we had Project Managers working out of multiple platforms. Now we've got everybody aligned on one platform.

This is very user-friendly, can see all the status change updates in the log and can attach big-size files also. It is easy to use a filter of specific criteria.

Smartsheet is essentially a more intuitive and efficient version of Excel, in my opinion. The way you interact with the cells is a lot more natural in my experience allowing for easier manipulation of data. My favorite thing about Smartsheet is the way they never stop improving their product. They are always adding new features and ways to use/display data, so there's always something new to explore. They also do lots of free trainings and User Groups, some of which I have attended, which were very useful in my experience. Lastly, since most of us can't really ever get away from Excel, I love the way the sheets integrate when you do need to transfer them over; it's pretty seamless.

The only real downside in my experience, is that many of the best features of Smartsheet require a higher-tier license and are pretty expensive to access. I understand why they have to do this, but if I had to pick something, it would definitely be that.

Smartsheet has been much more efficient for us in terms of allowing whole Teams to interact with the same data at the same time. We used to pass static Excel Spreadsheets back-and-forth, but this is way more efficient and provides many more actionable insights.

Smartsheet makes it very easy to complete all of my documents and organization needs within one spreadsheet. The nice thing is you can use it for anonymous surveys, data collection, intake, organization l, creation of forms, and basically the sky's the limit! I could not function in my current role without it!

Nothing other than I am sure there are things I don't know that could improve my day to day workflow.

It keeps me extremely organized for all the students coming on site to our medical facility! It also is a great tracking mechanism that you can build, modify, or change if you have new requirements or objectives that need collected.

It is easy to map out project deliverable, milestones, due date and stay on top of all the projects going on with the team. It easy to use the basic version and very cost effective without resources hence enhancing project management as they expand further. It operates like excel enabling people with knowledge in excel to use it as it helps in project management through finding the formatting capabilities which is effective in managing large amount of data .

It serves me alot hence I don't have any dislike

I like everything about this tool. Probably it will be perfect to be able to have video conferencing with the team within the same platform.

We use it to follow up status with customers, purchasing, expedite services, new projects, maintenance, and activities related to the quality department. It has become our primary tool. We are an aerospace manufacturing facility.

Overall, Smartsheet is a great tool for working together and staying organized.

Whenever I face issues, the vendor is rapid in eradicating them - currently it’s flawless.
