Have quick and timely updates. Capacity to collaborate on projects. A tremendous tracker of goals and time. Work is divided into separate projects and each work organized by default.

No ridicule whatsoever. It had the ability to create templates thus saving time. Allows for real-time updating and changing of data by team members. Daily questions to keep teams engaged.

Add, organize and discuss on tasks effectively. Documents storage. Organize docs and files. Creating specific projects with customizable access to each. Discussions.

Basecamp helps me organize so many tasks.

Sometimes things get misplaced. I can usually end up finding them, though!

It helps me stay organized, keep a to-do list, and set deadlines.

How helpful it is on collaborative projects. When someone assigns a project to me, I don't have to search through emails for communication about it. I can work on my portion of the project and then notify other team members of my progress. It's super helpful to have all aspects of a project accessible in one spot.

I don't dislike anything about Basecamp, it's very useful

A minor inconvenience would be that while you can set deadlines on projects for a certain date, you can't go a bit more granular and set deadline at a specific time in the day

Basecamp literally solved our productivity issues - we're at least 3X more effective after Basecamp vs before.

I Like that a group can be made and another can be made, and you won't lose the last one you were involved in the process of doing. You can go back in different upload documents. Somebody can have Discussions. It's all good.

I don't dislike anything so far. it's in good working condition

Basecamp has made team communication so easy. Not only can you send a quick message among team members but I love that you can set up groups and tasks that are assigned to some or all of your team where you get alerts as each person adds a comment. I also love the ability to assign tasks and get an alert when someone has completed their task.

I would like the ability to have an audible alert on my computer... I could not figure that out. There can be a lag to alerts coming through in general.

The team is world-based, so it allows us to communicate in real-time where ever we are. It is beneficial to be able to set up tasks that will be seen as soon as that person in a different timezone check in.

It's one cost umbrella not an extra cost per head.

Remote working and daily task division and assigning new tasks are much easier as compared to other tools which we are using since 2015.

Utilizing multiple teams and multiple projects with great communication and doc sharing.

Redundancy in some of the group communication tools. There is a bit of overlap in the Campfire and Message board. Can be confusing for some people.

We have multiple teams that overlap on various projects. We have utilized Basecamp to replace Slack amd other tools. It has streamlined our communication and accountability for task completion.

The interface is the best thing about the Basecamp. I have tried and used other project management tools. But all of them feel heavily crowded, and I don't feel like the claustrophobic looks. This is where the Basecamp is purely a genius. The while and the clean design of basecamp without compromising any functionality is one of the best things we can get on any application. Next thing I like the best about the Basecamp is assigning the tasks and changing the due date with the notification. There is an option to change the notification by anyone in the team who it is assigned to, but there is a notification and the history of the changes in the due date. This is one thing which is important for a project management tool. Also, attaching files with any extension is kind of breeze. Especially for videos which we usually need to host somewhere else, here in basecamp, it automatically converts like an embedded one which we can directly play. Editing is also easier. Also with multiple due date coming for different projects, we can quickly mark them as done.

The main thing I would like to see in the Basecamp is the table-like view like in other project management tools. With that option, we can quickly see which is due on which date, and everything will be a bit easier than now. Apart fromye that, I feel like Basecamp is a complete software. And yes, having more integrations will also be easier. I haven't seen many options for that in the basecamp.

With the implementation of Basecamp, we were able to quickly assign the projects. The main benefits is that as we are the company with multiple products, we were able to quickly categorize them without any confusing steps. We have tried multiple project management tools for trial and error so that we can find the perfect one and I feels like Basecamp is more like a complete package for the project management functionality.

The channels function allows different conversations to occur in different places enabling a more streamlined system

It's very similar to Microsoft Teams, but does not do it as well.

Trying to find a platform for messaging and calendars. No Benefits so far

I love the ability to make a client checklist for ALL of my clients with multiple templates.

It does take a bit to get the hang of using the site. Not user-friendly at first but once you learn the ropes, it's a great platform.

Keeping to-do lists in one easy to have a place. I love that my co-works are able to view EVERYTHING!

I like the basecamp interface, especially its mobile application user interface. Also, I like their project activity dashboard, it shows me all activity done in a particular project date wise.

I think the basecamp price is a little high as compared to other project management tools. I think they should change price structure by considering small business

What I find least helpful about Basecamp is its lack of flexibility to customize each project. The downsides of using Basecamp are that tagging tasks could be better implemented and its inability to support more complex view types.

The business problems we were attempting to resolve with Basecamp was task prioritization and accountability.

It supports you in staying notified so that you are aware when a job has been revised or finished. In order to get a more sorted work environment, we needed a platform that allowed us to end up creating our own area filled with good management and maintain many objects in one place, such as conversations, documents, and messages, Basecamp Helped us. Using Basecamp as a basic centers makes our life far more productive, it is capable of managing anything and have better control over what we do as the best choice. The fact that it is a compact application (it can be used from any device without any difficulties)

It appeared that Basecamp had a few modification choices, such as templates or limitation restrictions on members of the team or platform variables per program. Still, more often than not, part, it's a wonderful tool.

Basecamp enabled us to collaborate on a task to complete it. It enabled every one of our groups, from development to customer relations to financing to marketing, to interact about a project in a centralized location, ensuring that nothing was ignored.

I like there user interface, also they have to-do features that allow me to create different to-dos and we can assign that to-dos to any person of our tean and set the due date.

Basecamp works as a center table for all of the projects. Basecamp helps to organize all projects in a way that a specific project can only be accessed by the users who are assigned to that project. It makes sure no one accesses the product who is not authorized. Basecamp is overall a vital component in our company's progress and growth. Learning basecamp is pretty straightforward and does not need much time in learning.

The searching option is ill configured, it takes time to search, and the results are not very helpful. Some features are missing, such as attributing the priority level of a task; if we can label a task as low, medium, and high, it would help us execute specific tasks faster.

We have been using it as a project management tool where all assigned employees need to communicate and execute tasks. We create client-specific projects and involve only employees who need to be involved so no one from the company can access the project without adding them in the project. For every project, there is a joint project where the client can directly communicate to the employees and track work status.

Great visibility. It is cheap. Very lightweight. Great for collaboration with teams.

No dislike totally. It is great for organizing work and teams.

File sharing regardless of their formats. Helps teams to stay focused and not to divert from the main goal. It is easy to track communications in Basecamp.

Ease of use for all levels. Onboarding employees was simple, had very few issues with learning the application once implemented.

Could use either a time clock/time keeping section or integrate with a time clock application to g o along with the Schedule section.

Basecamp is a complete solution for project management and team communication. We can manage tasks to-do wise and assign a particular date in todo.

UI design is not good. There’s no way to assign priority levels to tasks.

Basecamp is so easy and intuitive that everyone is ramping up to use it really quickly. It's not often that people are talking in meetings about how excited they are to use a new platform.

Our projects are all in one place, with assigned teams that can be quickly updated AND we can invite our clients to join projects. You can also create templates within projects and use those across all projects.

The calendar is a bit clunky if you want to manage several projects with one client.

Project management organization. It's taken a while but we have mastered(?) our projects with workflows using templates created within each project. We can assign next steps and at a glance see where a project sits within it's life-cycle.

Problems we are solving with Basecamp include managing projects across different geographical locations and time zones which is wonderful.

Very humane company with an intuitive product to use for project management. There are dedicated tools for group chat, to-dos, tasks, etc which makes work easier and more efficient. landing page was informational in showing product features and pricing is fair for my team.

No dislikes so far. The only thing I would point out is that the software could have more integrations with other business systems.
