A really useful tool for QA on websites, much simpler than using spreadsheets or word docs. It works great for multi people within teams and clients.
It could be improved for using on mobile sites as can sometimes be a bit tricker to capture comments.
Saving time using spreadsheets, which saves time all round.
The bug herd tool is very easy to set up and get running on websites and is one of our most effective tools for our internal & client QA process. Time-saving and super effective. We've had a lot of clients comment that our QA process is very smooth compared to other firms they've worked with in the past.
No much to dislike, if I'm really splitting hairs. I would say that the screenshot tool doesn't work in every instance.
Efficient QA process. If you've done QA manually by spreadsheet you use this once,a nd you'll never look back....you will never look back. We've saved countless hours on QA using this tool.
I was introduced to BugHerd by an agency redesigning a website for us. The tool is intuitive and extremely helpful for our QA process. Very happy with my experience.
No downsides that I've found. Everything has been smooth so far with my experience.
Easily getting QA notes over to my agency. Very easily include screenshots.
User friendly. Minimal learning curve. Practical and time-saving!
Not much. Can't think of anything I dislike about it.
It's putting feedback right in context. It saves us from screen grabs and emails and allows us to keep the feedback/notes organized and controlled.
It is just so easy for us to log issues and see what still needs to be completed. There is no other software of its type so easy to use.
I think the UI could be modernised a bit :)
Helps us to log all our issues pre or post release and not lose track of bugs.
I love how we can easily create tasks, and track them through the studio. It means nothing gets missed. And it's easy to see what's left to do. It also looks like Trello, which helps continue a visual language we're familiar with! It gives us the ability to tag feedback per viewport and filter by this.
We always have to add time estimates (how long it'll take to complete a task) to the comments section, so it's difficult to see at a glance how much time is left to complete the tasks at hand.
1. Makes design reviews of development work easy - no more having to describe which part of the page we're referring to! 2. It's the same visual language as our Adobe XD links - comment and pin - so clients find it easy to use 3. It means if someone is off, we don't have information stored in someones emails! 4. We can add comments to tasks in one view; we used to have endless conversations in a spreadsheet which was hard to manage/track, and things got missed
BugHerd makes collecting feedback, both internal and from clients, SO easy. We get all the info we need in a single task and have a lot of control over the kanban board.
I wish there were more options for the level of access you give users. Right now, there are only guests, members, and admins. It would be great to have something in between guests and members. This is pretty minor, though. I love BugHerd!
As a digital agency, we need to gather client feedback on websites. BugHerd makes this so much easier. Long gone are the days of clients sending over long Word docs with confusing descriptions or random screenshots. BugHerd saves us so much time in collecting and implementing feedback. Our clients love it too!
BugHerd is incredibly easy and intuitive to use. In the front end, it's as simple to use as adding post-it notes to a whiteboard, and in the backend, its Kanban board is just as easy and intuitive. It allows teams to collaborate on an equal footing for a project and streamlines communication.
It would be great to have the ability to run reports based on the tickets to include in the project wash-up meeting. While this data can be collated manually, it would be great to be able to generate them in the platform when achieving a project at comletion.
Teams are empowered to share and communicate feedback relating to the quality assurance process with incredible accuracy, which in turn reduces email traffic and improves productivity and the end quality of sites.
The fact that clients and team members can view live progress of the project, being able to see when Bugs have been completed or are waiting review. It saves so much time previously spent emailing back and forth.
The restrictions on members, and restrictions that guest users have. It would be useful if you could add different members per project without being restricted, rather than having to upgrade or remove a member each time a new client/team member needs full access.
Bugherd is benefiting my company by saving a lot of communication time, it enables us to keep a record of any client amends that anyone across the team is able to review alongside the clients themselves.
The simplicity and easy use of it. Just has what you need to communicate your amends or questions.
I haven't come across anything at this stage. Lots of email notifications but not looked into settings if this could be changed to just one email.
Makes the process of getting amends or snags communicated in the most coherent way, which avoids multiple amends.
