I wish there was more customization to the emails. More designs and details to make the email prettier and more customized. I wish I could move things around on the email to make it more customizable.

Reaching a wide range of people quickly. When I need to reach everyone I can do it with a click of a button. You cant always reach everyone with social media so this is much better.

I like how this functions as storage for pdfs and images and creates urls for those that I can then use to post them on our website or embed them elsewhere.

I have noticed that the building function changes so that sometimes I can do multiple images side-by-side in an application, and other times I can't. Sometimes the search function doesn't load.

CC helps me to update our website because I can use documents and images saved there in our website and also link to emails that have been sent which essentially serve as landing pages.

Not a super responsive interface when moving items around in an email. For example, if I'm moving an image or text box it moves between text & images to places where undesired. Other items can get moved around while trying to move the clicked-on item

Seeing what kind of newsletters / content that readers are interested in by using the analytics provided and seeing what kinds of emails are getting opened more, what links are getting clicked on, what subject lines are more interesting based on the number of opens in that email, etc.

Constant Contact is like a plug and play device. Their templates make it easy to create impactful emails. The ability to have surveys/polls and video embedded into emails is a valuable tool for any business.

Within the contact manager I wish there was a way to accept/decline changes to emails or contact information when uploading new data. Currently the system overrides current data with anything that is uploaded. I would like there to be an approval process for contacts already in the system.

Our website provider does not provide an e-communications tool so Constant Contact was a perfect fit to help us communication with our constituents. As a school we are sending a large amount of emails to our parents, alumni and prospective families. Constant Contact's reporting tools make it easy for us to analyze our communications.

Email marketing and digital communications

It helps businesses or organizations that don't have a lot of marketing/communications infrastructure improve your sales/internal communications efforts with basic metrics.

You generally have to pay to get your own custom template for emails. Every now and again there will be an offer for a free template but that's hard to plan for.

Consistent monthly communication with our members with metrics to determine whether our content is being valued by our constituents. This is helpful as we plan future events and other programs.

The analytics is helpful and easy to understand so I can make informed adjustments to email strategies. I also like getting immediate data as soon as a campaign is launched!

I would love to see the customization options of templates/emails to be improved. I am a graphic designer, and sometimes, the editing options are limited to what I want to include in campaigns.

Constant Contact has been provided a significant resource to target all of our clients in a single platform, allowing us to get direct feedback on our products and business advertisements. In the events industry, we track data on specific clientele demographics and see what content generates the best responses.

I like the ease to layout and create your own e-blat and then look at all options in preview mode -- desktop, mobile, etc. I'm not sure how it compares to other platforms like MailChimp, but I have found using other CRMs and database management platforms' email tools to not be as functional nor as aesthetically pleasing.

The events platform -- highly unintuitive, and not very helpful in creating and marketing the event. There is a lot of room for improvement here. I'd like to see improvements in the managing registrants list -- I should be able to see all their answers to questions more easily rather than "click on registrant details" then have to click out and go to next registrant, etc. The download spreadsheet function should be on this page, not "reports" tab. The marketing tool -- sending. aninvite email platform is very antiquated. I feel like I'm working off of CC's email platform circa 2011. I typically build out the invite under the regular email platform -- if the tools on this could easily locate event links that would be nice so then I can build out the email and stay. in the email while I go to grab the event link for register now buttons. Contact interface -- I'd like to be able to filter by other fields (i.e. phone numbers). The search function should also apply across all tabs -- so if I'm looking up an email address, but I'm under "lists" it shouldn't come back unfound. It should still find that email address.

I haven't used it yet, but we are looking to get into SMS marketing. I think it's great. that CC has brought this into their toolkit. I will likely use it within the next two months.

My favorite thing about constant contact is the creativity factor! There are so many templates to choose from and it is easy to customize them and create campaigns that stand out!

Sometimes I wish that it was easier to upload content, like pictures. I feel like often times there are a lot of steps that you have to take to upload a single picture. Also, sometimes emails get sent to sender's spam folders which is also frustrating.

I like how they added more social media outlet options. I feel like it is very beneficial and helps our members further connect with us by giving them access to our social media channels.

Constant Contact's enrollment process is straightforward, and even new users may start using it right away. It also has several useful capabilities, like the ability to create registration forms, build web pages, and even manage online polls. Moreover, they have currently changed their cost model, demonstrating that they value user feedback. From the standpoint of a newbie, I like how simple it is to utilize. It contains some gradual guidance, and beautiful themes, and enables it simple to launch projects. Constant Contact can help businesses with everything from email blasts to destination sites that link to product pages.

Although building advertising email campaigns is drag & drop, it seems constrained in aspects of more versatile and infinite template creation because it includes certain preloaded designs that are changeable to some level. Although it's fantastic for beginners, I don't like how I can't see just how my homepage, for instance, would appear until it's posted since I'm too busy creating the required modifications to the design.

The best thing is i don't have to custom build anything coming to forms/emails the templates covers me all the features I need. Other tools also have the pre-made templates but constant contact makes it more powerful even the customization for every filed is soo good. Also the insights which we get from our campaigns is far better then other tools we can AB test our flow to reach correct audience and can see who opens it, what links they click, what specific Content they click on. Also we can test our templates ourselves by sending to friends and families before sending it to targetted users.

Sometimes while having a image it's bit difficult to add in template layout having a seperate block or widget can be useful. The very basic feature having a click to call in mobile devices is missing I really disappointed here.

More engagement, more users, more leads. We constantly try email campaigns to get around with our users and try to pitch our services through different email approach. Constant contact helped us to do well in all marketing tactics even it helped us with social media promotional features as well.

A toss between the mobile app, to keep connected or the email templates. The templates are great for in-a-pinch e-blasts. The customer support is generally responsive.

The jump in price from basic to premium packages. The difficulty in linking metrics with Google Analytics. Customer support is not usually helpful, despite the responsiveness.
