I love how the website is very to navigate and use. Easy to get in touch with current customers.
I do have problems with the website being "down" alot of times. Usually gets fixed. in a timely manner.
It helps me solve the need of a great email lay out and sending out bulk emails in a timely manner.
User-friendly interface, webinars and free resources available for users, always growing and offering new tools for the latest email marketing services. I have used MailChimp as well and have had a better experience with Constant Contact over the last 15 years of my time using CC.
There isn't much that I dislike about CC besides not offering a variety of free tools for email testing across various browsers/email servers. That would be most helpful for me to improve my experience.
Makes it very easy to create and utilize email marketing tools to increase awareness, donations, and registrations for my organization. As a nonprofit, we need a cost-effective and efficient platform for our promotions and CC has always been a positive addition to this goal.
One of the best things about Constant Contact is its phone customer support. I always appreciate getting dedicated care when I need it. I once was with a competitor that I thought I was satisfied with. I was trying out Constant Contact just to do my due diligence and was won over by the phone customer service (which Mailchimp does not offer). As well as the user-friendliness and ease of the platform. Additionally, being an administrator that's always on the go, having an app that can power my campaign when I'm mobile is a breakthrough win! I have the power of CC in my pocket, on my tablet, and ofcourse on my laptop.
The platform is very user-friendly, and they make great attempts to get things perfect...the reality is nothing in life is perfect! There's occasional bugs, though they resolve them rather quickly. For example, I had an issue initially with the auto-save feature -- called in and an agent shared that they too had experienced it and would push it up for review. I've noticed the auto-save feature has been working quite well recently. I presume they fixed the bug.
Gone are the days of attempting to draft an esthetic ally pleasing email in Outlook. Boom-ba-da-bam! Constant Contact allows me to quickly and easily communicate my message and do so in style. My recipients are roaring over the new newsletter style and email communications that were made possible by Constant Contact's products.

Sending out ~150-200 emails at a time. Also ability to use a list and customize the email so it is addressed by name to the recipient.

I had a 4 page newsletter already created and in a pdf format but could only get first page to upload so Constat Contact helped my load all 4 pages
Customer service very helpful in explaining anything that I am confused about. It helps to know they will answer and know exactly how to answer my questions + give tips for me to better utilize the platform for my business.
It would be great to be able to send to a large list of purchased contacts, but understandable that the email service cannot risk its reputation or mine which I am ultimately grateful for.

Constant contact is by far one of the most intuitive platforms for managing email campaigns. It's ability to change attachments after sending is a lifesaver and I highly recommend it to others if only for that one feature.
Constant Contact can be a bit expensive but is comparable to other platforms of the same caliber. As a smaller non-profit, it would be great to see some additional pricing options.
Constant Contact has amazing deliverability rates and allows us to get our message in front of our members. The really are a one-stop shop for many different options of digital marketing and it is convenient to have everything in one place.

Constant Contact needs an actual contact management work flow, so I don't have to also subscribe to Pipedrive or Salesforce.

LIke any platform, it takes a while to learn, but with a little persistence, it was manageable and once I understood it, it was pretty easy. There is excellent reporting and being a numbers guy, I appreciated that. Everything went out on time and I have confidence that when I do something in Constant Contact, it is going to work.
I found that if there is more than one page to load, it can be done, but it is a bit cumbersome. Since I send out multiple emails over the weeks, I would like to see a better way to organize and track what emails are for which group in the campaign section. It means that I have to be careful to make sure I am tracking the scheduling properly.
I am able to load my contacts easily which is great. I am also able to know what contact email addresses are not right before I send them, right after I load them and when some bounce, getting them deleted is easy.
I like that I can design/create our eNewsletter in just about any way imaginable. It's very easy to work with.
The backgrounds for the outside email portion; very difficult to create your own and they do not offer many options.
We are solving communications to those who cannot attend church for whatever reason. We can reach all our parishioners with one email to keep them informed.

I love how easy it is to upload my information and build my newsletters to send out pertinent information to our viewers. I also love the follow-up about how many people opened the email and read the information.
It is a little hard to manipulate/edit the images that I upload. It is not terribly intuitive as to how to go about saving the image after you edit it. This is the only thing I have struggled with in this program.
Constant Contact helps me get out to so many of our members the information about upcoming events. This way they can attend and be engaged with our organization. We care about our members and want them to know about all the exciting things happening.
