It is simple to use and start off with and fully integrated with the Google Workspace environment. The standard entities for Lead and Sales Management can be tailored to meet your business needs.
You cannot add additional entities to the datamodel to support your specific business needs. But Copper Support can connect you to valued partners who can extend Copper with the required functionality to meet your needs. But.. for most SMB out of the box does the trick.
After integrating Copper with our lead sources we have automates our lead management process. We use standard Copper for lead marketing and our sales process. At the end we implemented some integration to process the sales order with our billing and payment service. Copper can help you connect to the right partner for seamless integrations.

Follow up with clients
I love that it links directly to my email software. It is very easy to manage and keep track of all of my clients, emails and meetings.
N/A- I do not have any complaints about Copper
Lead Management, Communication Management and Client Management
It integrates well with google services and updates without losing everything
Sometimes the loading time lags and takes a day or so to update. Significant update but it is slow
keeping work flow organized and up to date notes about clients
It integrates with the other tools we use internally (Google drive, Slack, Xero etc) perfectly, meaning we can automate what was previously a gamut of annoying manual tasks.
I used to find extracting data for internal reporting incredibly frustrating, but it's so much better now. The only niggle would be that in order to use a different currency it would cost so much money. I think it was $10 per user per month additionally, which is crazy when (as a small business) we're already spending £8,000+ per year. We do all of our work and reporting in GBP, but Copper of course is in USD. It's very annoying, but we absolutely cannot justify the cost to be able to change currency / have multiple currencies.
Pipeline realisation and an list of all company contacts were the primary goals when Copper was implemented. It's being used in some business departments just as an address book, which is fine. Other departments are using the exportable data, pipeline management, and sales/lead progression far more deeply. We want to start using Copper as a mailshot tool also, this wasn't something I was aware that Copper could do and our marketing person is actively exploring this.
The organization with the leads you add will give you the tools to stay in touch with your client and help you connect so you don't lose the opportunity and have a better connection with them.
If you want to add a new lead, sometimes the same person can be a reference for two different companies, so right now, I have to create two leads with the same name.
Copper helps me keep track of my emails so I can know when somebody read but never gave a reply. Also, I'm a sales representative so it helps me keep track of my possible new clients.
It has made my sales organization so much better! The customers are always so impressed when I call them back the day I tell them I will. Many say that we are the only company that continually follows up! I love Copper! The opportunities portion works awesome for me to track my follow-up sales calls. I also use the notes portion a lot and it impresses customers when I remember things they tell me. Additionally, I LOVE that it tracks the emails. I am always able to go back and see what communication has happened without having to dig through gmail. Plus it keeps track of how our customers learn about our business and I use that to make decisions where our money goes for advertising. This is a great tool for small businesses in sales!
I wish there was an easy way to track texts from customers. It would be nice if all texts from customers could be routed through here somehow! One other thing I would like is a place to put a separate mailing address in for customers. There are just some small things that would help if I could customize it a little bit more, but it generally works great for our needs.
It has helped move our company from doing CSM on paper to totally online and allowed me to be 100% mobile. I use the mobile app all the time to reach a customer when I am away from the office. It is nice because I don't have to put contacts in my phone.
I like the reminders of when the last email was to a particular person.
Haven't found any flaws yet. The program is amazing.
It is constantly reminding me of tasks daily and meetings and who to follow up with.
Easily accessible interactions, and smooth conversions
