Moreover I like everything in HubSpot but there's a few sweet things: 1. Contact views, that saves a lot of time because we don't need to open contacts to view their details. 2. Integration with almost all applications/platforms. 3. WordPress forms don't need any extra care they just come in HubSpot as soon as you put HS JS over the website. 4. Raw HTML form feature. 5. Workflows are quite powerful in comparison to other MA systems. 6. Enrollment to the SFDC campaign can be done via import as well. 7. We don't need to import contacts if we are migrating from other MA systems if we are having SFDC integrated. We can directly do it right from HubSpot. That's a life-saving feature.
1. Active lists need some improvement. They take a lot of time to process the information. 2. Instance wise different behavior. 3. Webhook thing is quite complex in HubSpot in comparison to Marketo. We need to create an app using developer console in order to just use simple apps (e.g. if I want to integrate Zerobounce using API URL).
Drag and drop have been a boon for the entire team. We just need to get a template created and boom. Automated a lot of processes that is I think solving a complex query using Marketing Hub.
HubSpot is complete, it is very functional and easy to use for any user. The adoption of the platforms is very fast. HubSpot Marketing creates a WOW effect on people who don't know the product. Many customers using SAP, Oracle or Salesforce are surprised to see how complete it is ... and how beautiful the graphical interface is. In addition to the functionalities of campaigns, social media management, digital advertising, landing page, digital forms and blogs (one of the best hubspot products). It is very remarkable the functionality of HubSpot CMS, recently added to the Marketing stack. It is extremely easy to use, it has advanced SEO features and the infrastructure in Cloudflare make it one of the best we have ever known.
It is necessary to create specific verticals for Retail, Banks, Consumer Goods and other industries. In support, hubspot has one of the best experiences in technical training, almost everything is possible from its knowledge base, but it could further improve the sale of consulting services for when technical assistance is needed.
- EVERYTHING, the truth is that it is a great product, I do not envy anything to SAP, Oracle or Salesforce. - Methodology: HubSpot is THE ONLY software company in the world that accompanies its clients with a methodology. Neither SAP nor Oracle give an accompaniment, they sell and leave. HubSpot supports its clients with the Inbound Marketing methodology, underestimated by Gartner and Forrester in their / wave quadrants. - Website self-management without the need of the IT team - Content Marketing: Perhaps the best solution in the world.
The easy sync between HS and SFDC makes managing sales and marketing data’s breeze. No more guesswork about which content made the difference because Hubspot captures the whole customer journey progression.
I wish the blog analytics were more insightful and could provide more data about areas of the blog readers engage with
We now can map a full customer journey which helps us understand which content is actually driving business. The key benefit is the insights gained to know which content proves the greatest ROI.
We have been using Hubspot for newsletters, CRM & website and blog management. It is really great that you can see how your CRM contacts are interacting with each of these elements and adapt the communication to their user path. Support was very responsive and quick to find solutions which was very helpful.
UX of website CMS and management of email lists were a bit complicated, had to work with support to understand how to manage everything. Analytics are a bit limited, but if you are just looking for an overview, this is enough. Working on the materials as a team can be challenging sometimes, because you cannot make comments or track status easlily.
Tailoring communication to different audiences, managing prospecting clients. We have clients all over the world, so we are creating communication materials in multiple languages and need to adapt to different time zones. Knowing where the clients are in the purchase journey and how they are interacting with our website and newsletter is a big plus.
HubSpot Marketing Hub is feature rich with lots of out of the box functionality. All application drive out of the same easy to use interface and contract data is easy to find in the free CRM
Some functional, such as NPS, is not available in Marketing Hub and needs to be either set up as a native third party integration or you need to purchase Service Hub.
HubSpot Marketing Hub runs our content marketing programme. To do this we use all the functionality of the Marketing Pro app. Having everything in one place makes our marketing effort more efficient and effective. We've also added HubSpot CMS and this enables us to run our website and leverage all our digital assets from a single platform.
The forms and work flows are my favourite, I use them almost on a day to day basis.
I want the forms tot be customizable like the colors and some more customized fields. It would be useful if there was a conditional output for forms like the confirmation message changes with the selection of a radio button in the form.
Workflows is the biggest problem which has been solved by hubspot. It made my life easy my integrating forms lists and workflows together.
Renovating Inheritance attitude into Digital Way. Ease to Use and more user friendly tool.
Predominantly not any particular downsides found in Hubspot Marketing Hub
Running Campaigns / Tracking and follow-ups. Since I'm new to this HUB I can't tell any benefits as of now but I'm assertive that it gives more profit to my organization.
The forms and landing pages. Have been using these a lot for our webinar series and have lots of new leads/prospects. We use another email marketing platform for our cold data - which when they interact gets added to Hubspot and then nurtured, we are seeing a lot of results from this. Initially starting using Hubspot to generate leads - none of our leads were inbound and all new customers acquired through outbound marketing. Now we have a lot of leads coming in.
Can't think of anything! It is really simple to use. If you are stuck there is always an article on the forums - or if not you can ask. Have recently been in touch with the customer success team and they were really helpful with an issue we were having which I couldn't solve from the various help areas. One thing i wasn't happy with is that training wasn't free - but then looked on the Hubspot Academy and everything was on there.
We are now focused on content marketing - before we had no inbound leads. Hubspot has solved this issue.
It is a very complete software, I have so many posibilites, I can be creative, and it is very easy and intuitive to use, I think that is what I like the most about it, it very easy. When developing landing pages, it is very visual , I don't need to have technical programming knowledge to make great and efective landing pages. I also like how I can have a great feedback and all the important data to see if my campaigns are actually working, and they are not, I can change my strategies. I also really enjoy and give a lot of use to automating emails. I like how when I contact support, I get supported very quickly and they always solve my problems.
The only thing that I don't like sometimes is feeling somehow limited when developing website an the CMS.
- Communicating with my customers in an easy way. -Knowing the performance and impact of my marketing strategies. -Having presence on social media and SEO.
Easy to use interface, amazing service, innovative product that's weaved into our business.
It would great if there were more features in the CMS. It's pretty amazing, but finding custom modules or doing stuff that would easy in wordpress or another CMS is tough.
Easy to keep our team aligned. The data we get access to about client interaction on our website allows for amazing insight.
I love being able to create custom modules for website pages. This gives me the creative freedom to really get the most out of my skill set, and accomplish my goals as a web developer.
If I had to pick something, and this is getting really down in the nitty-gritty, the rich-text editor used in website pages will sometimes add <span> elements to paragraph text when pasting from a Google/Word Document.
A lot of what I do is refining/redesigning websites for clients who are new to HubSpot. Being able to have all the tool I need in one place, File Manager, Design Tools, Content Staging, is incredibly helpful.
Everything is in one place and links to each other
Some of the technical setup is tricky to workout. I struggled with setting up domains and URL's.
Data cleansing, segmenting, audience analysis, professional looking comms. Social scheduling, advertizing and performance is all great.
It allows you to collect data and share it within all your business areas (marketing, sales, CRM, etc.). Automations allow you to improve the performance of your funnel making it more engaging. Creating CTA, Landing Pages and Forms is very simple and intuitive. The drag and drop system allows you to create LP even if you are not familiar with coding. I recommend to connect HubSpot with your FB BM and Google Ads account to keep track of you efforts in paid advertising.
It takes a while to master the tool. Some features are not so easy to understand at first. Some tutorials available in the academy are too theoretical and do not show properly how the platform works. If you don't move your blog entirely on Hubspot and you want to keep it on word press, even though you can use a plugin to connect your website with the platform, it doesn't allow you to use all the features that Hubspot offers.
I use hubspot mostly to generate leads for the company I work for. All our marketing campaigns are connected to the HubSpot marketing tool and it allows us to keep track of our traffic from the very beginning of the funnel until the lead is registered and contacted by our sales team.
I am a daily user of HubSpot CRM. A super admin user with the Sales, Services, Reports & Marketing hubs. I enjoy using HubSpot because it's automated synchronization between contacts, companies, and activities make the daily operation so much simpler. The most helpful feature of HubSpot is the filter capabilities because it enables you to manipulate the data views in a lot of different ways making data management, lead generation and sales interactive and easy to use.
The only feature that I dislike about HubSpot is that it does not have the capability to recognize a company by name but only by domain. This causes some companies that have multiple domains to be seen as separate companies. HubSpot does have a Parent-Child Company feature that helps with this but the process is manual.
I am responsible for adding leads into HubSpot and for maintaining the database. The Duplication Merge and the Import/Export features have greatly impacted my daily work. "Cleaning up" HubSpot is now so much easier.
★ Powerful enough for the seasoned marketer, easy enough for marketing newbies and wannabes ★ Huge list of integrations and agencies ★ Support is best in class ★ Documentation is best in class
☹ There are some things that the Hubspot is "too" controlling on ☹ They're aggressive about rolling out new upgrades or updates (although patches and updates are always very well tested and never "buggy") ☹ Every once in a while they eliminate a good feature
★ We are striving to become inbound rock stars; our Hubspot client success rep is really helping us to get there quickly ★ We can quickly roll out new thought leadership, and refresh our brand nearly on the fly ★ We look forward to the day when we can do robust advanced lead scoring and workflows (which I did successfully in a previous job with Hubspot)
HubSpot's arsenal of tools is so robust, there are endless ways to solve each business' unique challenges no matter how nuanced they may be. The full Growth Suite (or even just a combination of the Sales + Marketing hubs) is an absolute game-changer for team coordination and makes day-to-day processes so much more efficient.
I've yet to experience any downsides with HubSpot
Poor data transfer between systems, poor conversion rates between stages (within the buyer's journey) and weak handoff points between teams are all common issues that can drastically limit a business' growth. HubSpot was designed and is constantly updated to combat these obstacles, and its effectiveness is apparent in how much ROI businesses generate after effective implementation
- Organizational freedom - Solid balance of ease of use and technical capability - Ton of quality-of-life features - Great code editor and formatting - Great UI/X - One stop shop for an incredible amount of the services ecom and saas businesses need - The dashboard is gorgeous., but more importantly it is highly functional as an interface. - Support is responsive - They are forthcoming and up to date with service outage notifications, updates, and feature additions
- Template and modules have unintuitive limitations - Global modules seem to arbitrarily limit content editability
– Website content updates – Email design and deployment – Lead qualification – Marketing automation
Hubspot gave me the ability to create a website in a short space of time, by myself, which looks like a team of people have been working on it for months. As ex-website agency, I couldn't believe the amount of time wasted in the past, planning, mapping out websites, when tools like Hubspot make the process feel so effortless. It's optimised for mobile and easy to amend.
The go-live process was a little unclear, and we still have some domain issues, which no-one seems able to identify. Also, the monthly fee to manage the website feels like a kick in the teeth, when our monthly bill after our startup discount is used up is going to be crazy amount. With an agency background, £300 per month seems a little steep, when already paying the Enterprise amount.
We're a small start-up, so outsourcing our website design and build wasn't an option. Hubspot has allowed me to create a fully agile website, adding new pages as I go, updating the nav, footer effortless, which, in my agency experience, was often a long and tiring process. I also loved the available templates and Hubspot blogs for best practice. No point re-inventing the wheel when it comes to website page layout.
It's neat and sends reminders to you for weekly tasks
It's pretty good actually, no complaints
Internal analytics and uploads. It's good to write on, edit on the website pages directly and blog. The trainings offered on learning academy are very beneficial as well. It is a great model!
We host our blog on Hubspot and the features are always extremely useful for our content strategy. The layout is extremely user-friendly and accessible. I recently noticed to optimisation section on the blog which comes with some great tips towards boosting your site SEO. My company has been using Hubspot for a number of years and it was easy to review the existing content and edit with ease.
Perhaps the ability to transfer content more freely across different accounts, we have one for UK and one for ANZ and it would be nice to have a tool to transfer files across to avoid having to do things twice. It would be great to get some further personalisation on the backend, suggesting industry specific optimising tactics would be really useful.
We host our blog on the platform, so it helps us to manage content, review content and now to optimise! It is easy to edit and change content/tags/authors etc and will be great at offering tips and tricks to aid you further.
