Mail chimp is super affordable and effective. It's also very user-friendly. I've been using Mailchimp for the last 6 years and I don't see myself ever switching. Customer service is phenomenal as well. Anytime I have an issues, I can usually get someone on the phone real quick and the are so knowledgeable. I'm currently not using Mail chimp right now because my free lance contract had ended recently, so I wouldn't be able to upload a screen shot to show proof. However, all the clients I have worked with has been using Mail chimp.
There's nothing that I dislike about Mail chimp. It seems to be the perfect service in my opinion and they are heading in the right direction.
Automated campaigns are the BEST! All you have to do is create a series of newsletters, set it and forget it. It's that easy. I also really appreciate the easy resend button on mobile. When I send out a campaign, I usually wait about 24 hours to see how many people opened and clicked on the email. After 24 hours, there's a resend button to send the campaign to those who haven't opened the email. I usually get a good percentage of people who clicks on the email the second time it gets sent.
Ability to start small and at no cost while building your email database. It offers a cost effective solution to anyone no matter how large or small they are. Very user friendly and I prefer over the most well known Email Marketing tool out there. I have used for Non Profits to even Automotive dealerships. It works on all levels. Great product and can't wait to see what improvements they offer in the years to come.
Inability to edit HTML template on code site sometimes if a design is off or if I want to paste in my own HTML design
Getting news out to our email database quickly and easily without any time consuming work
This software for email marketing is simply amazing. Really. The best so far.
I have to be honest, maybe some little details for customising the layout. But it's perfect.
I am getting opinions and lead customers to grow my business.
When I started a new role as a Marketing Manager for a fashion brand, the only thing within my new job that I had never done before was email marketing. That being said, when I started using Mailchimp, the platform helped me create so many stunning emails for the brand with ease. Although I was nervous to take this on, it was such an easy thing all thanks to Mailchimp. I love how easy it is to create different segments, review analytics, etc.
So far, I haven't found anything about it that I dislike!
I have so many different marketing segments I send emails to within Mailchimp. I have realized how easy it is to create different email flows quickly and simply.
The most useful features for me are the list creation, metrics and email designer.
The only small issue is the standard unsubscribe detail
The ability to reach hundreds of clients easily
Very easy tool to use to design and distribute emails to customers.
I can’t think of any negatives. For new members of staff, we find this platform to be very simple to pick up and use straight away. This reduces requirement for training.
Nothing of note.
The duplicate feature, as we send to multiple audiences at a time and our emails are often of the same style, it helps to make it much quicker
A/B testing is still quite clunky when trialling different content, I’ve had times when the Content has been duplicated when loading templates and it has led to additional work.
Capturing email data from 3rd parties and easily aggregating this in Mailchimp, their different data types allow us to import lots of data.
Great way of reaching out to potential clients in bulk. It gives insights to opens e.t.c
Nothing at the moment there are 3 users tota and we all find it great
It is so easy to transfer data from CRM systems
The ability to use multiple email addresses and users
That each email needs to be a desperate campaign
Solved automation of emails
I've been using Mailchimp since I started my business and love that it is intuitive, flexible, and allows me to create and save custom templates and campaigns all in one place, which makes it easy to reuse them when needed.
The landing page feature is a little clunky. It would be nice if it were more responsive and customizable.
I use it for my newsletter and email marketing campaigns as well as to capture and download customer information.
The ease of use, adding images etc. is simple.
Nothing, we find it perfect for what we need it for.
We use Mailchimp for certain data lists that it fits better than our other platform.
I like the formatting and drag and drop template creation the best - looks seamless and is easy to work with, within it's parameters. Scheduling emails and speedy deployment. I also use another software and it takes like 45 mins to fully deploy to our mailing list of 2000.
I strongly dislike the inability to create multiple columns in more than one location. I'd like most to be able to switch back and forth in my layout how I please, not in a 1:2:1 or 2:1:2 situation. I also often have trouble with formatting after a copy and paste, which is VERY annoying to have to retype all of my copy. **ALSO lately it's requiring 2-factor authentication every time I log in to a different account, (I manage many) and as I'm not the phone number on the account, it's annoying and tedious to get in.
simple!
The facility to see who is engaging with your email marketing, who clicks through for further information and the ability to target those engaged prospects
Downside is that you have to upgrade to a paid membership once you have over 2,000 contacts or wish to use more templates
I can now see and focus on the potential customers who are interested in my product rather than sending an email and hoping for the best, mailchimp really saves time.
Mailchimp allows someone without design experience to create beautiful, functional emails.
Sometimes emails are flagged as spam or sent to the "other" folder because it comes from a "Mailchimp mass email."
Sending emails for marketing purposes.
I like how MailChimp is easy to update and change templates. You can keep the same template for consistancy or easily adjust.
I wish that the survey feature was easier to use and looked "cleaner" when sending an email.
We are using MailChimp as a touchpoint for customers that have fallen off or for cold leads. It's easy to see if they may be interested by how they react with the email.
What I like the best is the templates because it really helps us to go in the right direction
I think that the price is really expensive
I can send one email to all my clients at the same time
It's a very intuitive tool that is easy to train team members on.
There can be a disconnect between how things appear in the editor and how they look when they arrive in your inbox.
Internal newsletters, event sign ups.
It's easy to use and create own email templates. It's easy to integrate in web platforms the subscribe options and build data base. I like the different options to add more email contacts in the created email lists.
They are still problems with the emails delivering. Often they are going in the spam folder. And is very annoying, when some contacts decide to report the email bulletin like a spam, although they have joined the email list by their own choice. The contacts are obligated to choose a reason why they decided to unsubscribe, but maybe they need to have more choices to select.
Mailchimp is helping me to save a lot of time and to measure the marketing results of my email campaigns by easy way.
I love how simple the interface is. Dragging and dropping content is so easy and almost anyone can figure out how to use it. The emails themselves look beautiful.
While MailChimp is wonderfully simple for new users to navigate, I wish there was the ability for more flexibility and customization as you get comfortable with the platform. I would love to have a larger selection of fonts. Things like custom forms would be amazing. While there are tons of opportunities for segmentation, getting people moved over to new segments can be complicated.
We use MailChimp to communicate with our families, donors, and volunteers. Creating regular communications systems is so much easier with MailChimp.
Very user friendly, by seeing the UI layman can create an campaign with out any questions. Recommended to every organisation
Nothing much really . Everything is smooth and easy
Creating daily Adhoc and promotional emails with ease and accurate with any difficulties
The automations on this program mirror that of paid programs, often better
There is very little bad to say about the program itself
Easy automation, great list manangement
User friendly. Mailchimp is the software equivalent of using an iphone. Everything is clear right in front of you, even if you are a new-by.
The layout for the contact groups could be better displayed. I would love to see the entire e-mail address, not just the beginning.
Easy to group contacts into groups. A bit annoying to go on each contact if you want to unsubscribe them.
I like that it is easy to setup email blasts. It is also super simple to organize and segment lists.
There isn't anything I dislike. Mailchimp is my go-to for client email marketing needs.
I am able to manage multiple email marketing campaigns by using Mailchimp.
Mailchimp is great because the interface is really user-friendly, and it's actually nice to use. So many 'internal' products are really clunky and unattractive, but Mailchimp is really well designed and thought out. It also works, and the insights and functionality it offers for marketing campaigns is excellent.
I think some of the templates are quite hard to get to grips with, and it did take a minute to 'tune into' how to use it. But once you've grasped it it quickly becomes easy.
We use Mailchimp to send our marketing emails for our clients. It allows us to send nicely designed emails, and get a bunch of data back about them in a nice designed table/graph.
That it's extremely user friendly and free for basic use.
There is nothing I dislike. I find MailChimp perfect for my needs.
Email address capture on websites.Able to capture them.
I think the platform deliveries great service and features for a low price.
It needs improvements like some features that marketing automation platforms already have.
I am sending e-mail marketing to my users. The A/B test functionality is excellent to check how accurate is the message that you are sending.
It's simple, easy to use and has such a nice interface.
Nothing! I guess the mailing lists can be quite manual?
I love segmenting my mailing lists and finding people is so easy when I need to change or delete info.
Does everything that you would need, has good template features
Wouldn't integrate with our servers, even though it worked previously.
None at the moment
I love that I can send an email to my customers from my phone.
I dislike that there is no delay in the email send. So if we catch an error we can't stop it.
We are reaching different groups and even sending social posts when emails go out.
I love the interface of Mailchimp and the ease of use. It's really easy to understand and learn and great for beginners!
I don't dislike anything, overall it's my favorite program for email marketing.
It has been able to show us how many people are reading our emails and how we can better improve them to get more opens.
