Paymo is an intuitive tool, since it is easy to use to manage the information of the clients that are affiliated where you can add all type of information related to the execution of projects included in the work statistics, also it has the benefit of the export of invoices to Quickbooks or Xero which facilitates the work, in addition it counts on an active chat which helps you to solve any type of problem that appears
You can not use a task timer for different projects you have to make a reservation before use, which affects a little the programming of the company, the application was running slowly but with the new update has improved substantially
Paymo came to our company to improve the level of production, saving considerably the amount of expenses for billing, customer management among other projects, this based substantially on the paymo kanban board, also helps to easy and accurate tracking of all reports and projects shared with different customers.
Daily time tracking feature that allows me to benchmark time to complete tasks for reference on future projects. Also, Paymo is super responsive with the community forum. I feel like they listen very well to customer voice.
Can't turn bookings into time cards. Can't select/edit multiple tasks at once.
Keeping track of my time Planning my schedule Understanding past history to complete tasks.
I appreciate the attentive customer support. I've gotten personal responses for any questions I had.
Sometimes switching between projects in the time tracker can be annoying because the auto-complete will jump a project with a totally different name.
I've been able to easily track how long certain tasks take me and therefore accurately estimate how much to charge for those tasks in the future.
it is very helpful to be able to both assign tasks to other users and calculate timing of these tasks
there is a bit of a learning curve when you first start using it. had i not had a colleague explain many of the features i might not have been as likely to adopt it
as a consultant it gives my clients a detailed summary of how i allocated my hours
I like that we can prepare invoices in a elegant way...
There is no option for a Task table as in a Scrum
correct management of working hours
I like the ability to adjust and view timelines and tasks. Being able to easily view your deadlines on your homepage is also helpful. Team scheduling is very useful at a company level to be able to balance resources depending on timelines at our weekly meetings.
Sometimes the interface is a little difficult to find what you are looking for. It is not easy to report out hours in bulk for yourself, and at the project level. Expense reports are also not very functional when needing to send to management. I usually refrain from trying to adjust the timelines because depending on the settings/mode, can be easy to mess them up.
Our company is using the time sheets to determine where most of our resources are being used and how we can optimize that. We also use the team scheduling in an attempt to more easily predict and prevent bottle-necking and under-resourced teams.
I like the ability to create an estimate directly from the project view.
The time tracking views are not great, and the scheduling feature is not 100%.
We have been trying to track how resources spend their time - Paymo allows us to do this better than our previous system.
Professional looking reports & time save
I'd like auto report & set default views
Better tracking of all my time
We liked the all-in-one nature of the product -- primarily the resource planning + invoicing features.
As with all products, there is definitely room for ongoing improvement. However, nothing strikes me as a "dislike."
The biggest issue we had was being spread out among multiple tools and platforms. While this is necessary for some instances, it's nice when a product includes multiple features and can act as a hub.
Paymo is fairly easy to use and does a good job of tracking hours for multiple projects.
Sometimes I feel like I can trust the syncing between the mobile app and my account. There was a time a while back when it wasn't working and I had to revert to a previous app per Paymo.
Decent tracking of hours and time. Simple to create reports for invoicing.
Syncs across platforms, desktop timer, able to generate invoices, assign project costs
Constant updates changing the way the system works
Time tracking for a consultant with a small number of clients - easy to use and inexpensive
It helps you keep track of your accounting. It's perfect for small businesses or independent contractors to manage their time and billing.
I don't want to have to toggle the task I'm working on. I want it to work behind the scenes. II usually keep a lot of tabs open, so it would be great if the technology would know if I was actively using the page I have open.
It helps keep my billing and accounting one place. I can keep track of my tasks, and easily invoice for my time spent.
I like how it's easy to use. And that I can download it as an app
I don't dislike anything about paymo. Great app.
Business problems I'm resolving is to help my business succeed
The main thing that I like about using Paymo is how easy it is to use. There's no confusing steps to do, no "what ifs" to worry, and you don't have a feeling that you may encounter a security breach. That is the most important issue for me. If there is anything remotely suspicious of an online tool tome, I just don't use it or even attempt to sign up for it. But, that is just my opinion and my perception of Paymo. You will have to study it and discover it for yourself, of course. One other thing I like about the tool is that it is shareable with your entire team, if you have one. One platform, one way to see things so that everyone who is viewing the project sees the same and is on the same page. No mistakes... it's a good thing.
There really isn't anything I can say I dislike about it. Maybe later in the year, I will encounter something, but right now... no.
I don't have business "problems". I use this site in order to keep myself and my team organized, which Paymo does in a very professional way.
Paymo is pretty good with Gantt charts and logging hours. Pairing the automatic time tracking and project milestones has helped my group become more efficient. The homepage with info helps manage projects (time, money, effort). .
Continue to improve accountability for other team members remotely. Being able to track the times for other group members would be helpful.
Time management, hands down. The price is pretty cheap, and it helps immensely with project management. I didn't know that is was very to use with budgeting as well.
Easy to use, assigning multiple users to one project and assigning a user to more than one project.
Real time clock would be great. I would like to see who is from my team at that point of time is working on a project. Now, if the user start the clock and spends 3-4 hours working on a task, I won’t know until he/she stop the clock.
I’m able to manage the time, have better forecast on the outcome based on the recorded time history for the given tasks which gives better seance of the time required to achieve the full project
The ability to build estimates and track my time, and the reports. To be able to have customers, projects, tasks, invoices, and keep track of what was already invoiced, sent and payed. Also, it has all I need in one place, from invoice to time management, and a beautiful dashboard.
The fact of paymo not being open source !
Build a detailed Budget for myself Deliver an estimate to a customer. Generate Invoices, Edit them and send to customer
Paymo is simple and runs cross-platform. I like that I can track multiple projects and time/track projects from my phone, tablet, and PC.
Works well. No strong dislikes. The user interface can be somewhat confusing.
I track time for billing my consulting clients. It allows me to track my time from my desk or in the field. It has made tracking time and creating invoices very east.
Time tracking is great, invoices and projects
The time log does not save the date for the invoice
Time tracking
