I feel it's very useful for forms, pivots and charts. I'm still a novice user, but learning something new every day!
When I have multiple tables that need to be deleted and imported on a daily basis, that I can't delete ALL of the data from from multiple, if not ALL, tables at the same time.
Quickbase is really helpful when it comes to the daily repitition of creating/sending out spreadsheets, charts, and tables. Creating an application in Quickbase is a more modern tool for that purpose.
I love that Quickbase allows my organization rapidly develop and deploy applications. The platform is flexible enough to meet a wide range of needs in my organization and allows highly customizable security controls.
QuickBase offers extensive customization options, and complex customizations often require advanced technical knowledge or assistance from hired external service providers.
My organization uses the platform to track employee records and manage workflows involving internal and external users. We also use it to allocate and track physical assets.

It's been really nice to create as many fields as we need, link them to different tables and apps, and to be able to create dynamic formulas to fit our needs.
The Pipeline builder is clunky, you can't drag and drop one step to a different part in the process. Instead, you have to destroy your current workflow and basically start from scratch any time you need to make a change, which is frustrating.
It's helping us solve payroll, supply chain management, inventory management, project management, and onboarding problems. We've been able to reduce headcount by optimizing our internal processes thanks to Quickbase.
From an administrative standpoint, I love the ease of use and flexibility of customization. From a project standpoint, I love that the whole team can see the same data real time.
It can be a little clunky at times. And it isn't intuitive for some of our team.
I understand they are updating some of the interfaces to be more user-friendly. This should help our teams be able to get into the system and begin adding content much faster.
The customization is the best feature for our company's very specific needs, something that most off the shelf solutions don't offer. Also very much appreciate the UX / UI.
Custom design can be costly & time consuming
Managing our inventory & logistics in a clean, organized fashion has benefitted our company greatly. This has dramatically increased worker efficiency & cut down on errors / mistakes.
We love Quickbase and the Empower events! Our credit union is building out a Project Management app to support all of our initiatives, which will replace countless excel sheets, manual reports, and meeting agendas & minutes. This is a game-changer for us!

The ability of a company or part of a company to build an application to help them manage business functions without having to hire an entire development team to accomplish their goals. It is scaleable and multi purpose. It can link to other software platforms and has automation functions to allow workflows to be automated.
It doesn't have the prettiest or most robust graphing and reporting interfaces inherently.
We took our manual time reporting, invoicing, and project management out of email inboxes and excel files and into a database that links everything up so we have real-time reporting and line of site into progress of our projects.
