The user interface is awesome and the Payable, expenses are captured perfectly.
Only useful for small organizations and also not accurate
All problems related to customer Receivables and vendor payments, expense issues
Ease of use, cloud accessibility, deep integration across our key tech vendor stack (by far the most important feature of any accounting software), and simple platform for collaboration.
We are a fintech with complex accounting due to the asset management component, and while QBO is simple enough for our business at this stage, we likely will have to graduate to NetSuites as our portfolio gets larger.
The simplicity and accessibility of QBO help our finance team collaborate easily, and drive deep insight into our P&L trends via analytics dashboard. The integration with our key vendors is a tremendously valuable feature.
It automates a lot of things in the Bookkeeping process. I like how user-friendly it is. It allows even the most novice user to grasp everything quickly.
How I cannot reclassify everything, I can imagine in Quickbooks. Please have someone make that a reality; it will get so much better.
It is solving the problem of completing the bookkeeping process for all our clients. I am definitely more productive because of it.
QuickBooks Online lets our organization integrate with multiple software platforms, saving us time and money over the long run. I love that I can access our records anywhere, anytime. This is something the traditional downloaded software could never offer so I always recommend people switch to the online version as soon as possible.
I can't think of a single thing I dislike about QuickBooks Online. Quickbooks has been an established company for quite some time so knowing that they invest in making their product better to respond to customer needs and the revolution of technology is what makes it stand out among competitors.
Quickbooks Online lets us connect different software programs seamlessly. The integration allows our WooCommerce store to talk directly to QuickBooks Online so we're not spending valuable time inputting data into the system. We love QuickBooks Online so much!
The streamlined expense categorization process is absolutely amazing. It makes the bookkeeping process much faster and more accurate due to the use of simple drop-down menus.
There are only a few things I dislike about QuickBooks. One thing is the fact that Quickbooks will assume invoice numbers when invoices ae created. This can be an inconvenience but is an easy fix and an overall very small problem.
The biggest problem solved by QuickBooks is the lengthy bookkeeping processes when done by hand. Quickbooks cuts the time needed to account for transactions and create financial statements down tremendously.
I like the flexible reporting capabilities and the ability to link our account quickly and easily.
Sometimes the account autofill capabilities for account matching can be a little painful.
Keeps our books clean and up-to-date
There is a lot of flexibility and customization available for account types and expectations.
I do not have anything that I do not like
Quickbooks online is our one-stop shop for bookkeeping. All accounts are seen via the dashboard rather than looking in several spots.
I like that you can easily collaborate with clients on their financials. I enjoy the fact that even non-accountants are able to understand this platform. You can tell this system was built specifically for business owners.
As an accountant, there are some limitations in the online platform that you don't have in the desktop version, but they're not major issues. If the online platform could be built to include all of the same features the desktop platform has, then I believe that everyone who currently uses desktop would make the switch without a second thought to the online platform.
Saves time by having everything sync'd directly to the bank and credit cards. The rules that you can create and the way the system remembers your last transactions is very beneficial. This can also cause some issues if you aren't careful. But, by far, it's the best platform out there for small business accounting.
Quickbooks onine integrates directly into our Filevine Case Management system as it receives all the accounting information for checks that are cut, charges and invoices on client cases.
Building a check report that we send to our bank was a bit difficult as it required detailed information. But after playing with it a few times we were able to figure it out.
Quickbooks online is helping keep inovicing with client charges both with credit cards and checks written on behalf of the client while the case is going on. This has helped with keeping a good tab.
QuickBooks is very easy to use and understand for non-accountant/bookkeeps. It synchronizes very nicely with my bank account.
The auto-suggested rules and reconciling can get a bit pushy.
QB is helping with basic bookkeeping, invoicing, and business document compliance.
