Zoho Campaigns Reviews: 4.4/5 — Solid Choice
Zoho Campaigns is an all-in-one email marketing platform designed for small to medium businesses. Among its key features, email automation, landing pages, social media integration, and an intuitive drag-and-drop editor are cited as top tools that customers love. However, one of its best features is its ability to segment your contacts based on their behavior and interests, allowing for more personalized and effective campaigns. Overall, Zoho Campaigns is a powerful and user-friendly solution for businesses looking to grow their email marketing efforts.

Fairly easy to get started, but some sort of guided onboarding process would really help
Need a guided onboarding process. Not very easy to start using the software without prior experience
Just got started, trying to run email mktg campaigns
the ability to track projects and share with teammates
not super user friendly or all that easy to use

the fact that it opens a new window for every module.
many mostly new sales startups and email campaigns
You can create elegant emails, announce new content on the site and manage a list of contacts.
The configuration was a bit complicated for us. Is not so easy to créate templates.
newsletter, masive emails
Watching the presentation, I like how the scope is projected to the clients. Deliver elegant emails and get them to see the final product.
the truth is we found it a bit complicated to configure this application. We always had an error in the configuration.
create mail campaigns
Low price point especially when combined with other features
A lot of features just aren’t polished. I feel like it is a beta program.
Low price point.
It has a great potential and perfroms okayish for the email deliverability but does not come close to competitors.
The template previews do not always tell the truth and emails in the mailbox and on the preview can look really different. I encountered many issues managing templates generally, editing templates within the email campaign has proven to be risky and bug encountering. Email deliverability insights are there but not performing well.
Email marketing, sendouts, automations and workflow management.
That it integrates directly with Zoho CRM.
Pretty much everything. Not able to upload images to photo library, syncing to other platforms is buggy, platform messes up tracking pixels and email code, deliverability is dicey at best.
Inexpensive for clients that already have Zoho CRM.
There are integrations with other Zoho products e.g. CRM and Analytics, that make it easy to create a joined-up system (in theory at least). The product has lots of useful features e.g. the ability to set up workflows and automations (although the user interface and documentation need to be a lot better).
As with other Zoho products, documentation and support for Campaigns are frustratingly patchy. It could be a much better product if there were more comprehensive guidance or if it were possible to get more informed help via the online support team. While there are lots of features with potential, it is hard to set up more sophisticated campaigns when it is not clear how everything works. In addition, parts of the UI are unclear - for example, some of the micro copy isn't transparent and leads to ambiguity. It's not always clear that campaigns are being delivered into inboxes instead of Junk folders - it's not clear how much of this is individual campaign issues and how much Zoho's credibility with email service providers.
Delivering marketing campaigns and transactional emails to a growing user base.
I love it's core functionality and ability to deliver meaningful impact on my campaigns and helping me reach my target audience with all the filtering and raw power
The UI is a tad clunky but still gets you where you need to go. I think some of the toolbars would benefit from a redesign
Email the right people in my accounts at the right time
Addition of contacts was easy. One does not need to keep scrolling here and there. Pricing is best. Ready to go template are very creative.
If it was not for the training I had received i would have stopped using Zoho long back. It is not at all user friendly like send in blue or mail chimp. But due to it's pricing we are using it. It is hard to navigate when one is designing the email. Cannot use personal mail id which is a bummer.
We are doing bulk emailing via zoho.
It is easy to use and its free to use.
It does not help you when you are stuck and it seems more confusing than the last time I used it
It is a cost effective drip campaign. It helps to validate information
Its interface is very easy to use and you can run a campaign in minutes
Campaign mobile version does not look good, and buttons look green when are inside a table, and google analytics it is difficult to set up
Generating automatics notifications or sending new content form our blog to our clients. It reduces or time to build a new campaign every week.
powerful software with lots of features including reducing email rejection as spam with DKIM setup
early to say but lots of issues such as fields rejection without explanation and hard to insert logo
sales automation for my team and better crm record keeping. no benefits yet as early
transportation and freight company and there is a good field
nothing to say exactly and describe how its
nothing
The ability to schedule posts and view individual email reports. The convenience of having a direct link to CRM as opposed to using third party providers such as Mailchimp is a definite big advantage to this software.
The email design interface is fussy, outdated and difficult to use. Although Campaigns tries to achieve a seamless drag and drop functionality, it is often laggy and users have to click options several times before it will work. This entire interface needs redesigning and simplifiying. More of a general comment, but the Zoho support team are AWFUL. We have had ongoing problems with Zoho that need to be escalated to the support team directly but the problem is always ignored and has to be chased up and it is always delayed. The average fix time for a problem is about a month, and this is only because two people are constantly chasing up Zoho otherwise the problems would be forgotten about.
We are developing relationships with our customers using zoho campaigns and sending them regular email campaigns means that we are increasing our awareness. Zoho Campaigns has been a big help during GDPR as it is directly a part of our CRM system so has sufficiently decreased the workload.
Submissions for compliance review;, built-in CAN-SPAM validation, optional Litmus lab functionality for viewing your emails on different platforms, and integration with Zoho CRM for easy list loading; great customer support if you ever have questions
Email templates are sorta crappy and they don't give you the keys to create a responsive fluid email template if you are versed in HTML; you can't suppress the "powered by Zoho" message; WYSIWYG editor is sort of clunky and hard to use
Sending out marketing email campaigns to our customers
I liked that it integrated with the Zoho CRM system which we were using at the time.
It was complicated. I need something easy to use and setup.
Needed a system to send mass emails out to vendors. This can do that...but wasn't taking the cake.
Zoho Campaigns is included in a Zoho One subscription, which makes it "free". There's good low-effort integration with Zoho CRM. That's very helpful since you don't need an additional tool like Zapier for synchronization.
Campaigns is a pain to use. The interface feels stale. There's too much manual work. For example, if you're adding an image, the onus is on you to worry about the file size. Tools like MailerLite and Mad Mimi automatically reduce the file size to make the resulting email smaller.
We wanted an easy way to send nice-looking mass emails to a select group of key contacts (e.g., event announcements, a monthly newsletter). These benefits could have been realized but worked because we found Campaigns a hassle to use.
Easy to navigate menu, options are understandable.
It can be hard to sync properly with your CRM, even if you use the Zoho CRM. Designing your emails is a pain. It doesn't make filtering emails, then penalizes you for back-end issues. Useful for small businesses looking to send simple emails, HORRIBLE for anyone trying to do something more complex
It sends my emails, and can, to an extent, send them to the CRM. I can't stand how clunky, slow, and unintuitive the interface is.
The integration with zoho crm "vistas" and sync.
The bad deliverability. Comparing with mailchimp, my previous email platform, with the same lists and kinf of content, I lost more than 10% of open rate.
Integration with zoho crm allow to centralize management of emails.
I don’t think there is anything overly positive about this software.
Having to get mailers approved. You have to create a new version of an automated journey just to change one word. Everything is not easy to use.
None
The platform has a lot of nice features for sending email campaigns and it is easy to use
Your customer service is quite rigid and not flexible
I am sending customised and targeted email campaigns with zoho
